Is anyone else noticing that the games are flippin' awesome right now? Tons of action to be had on the midstakes PLO tables (2/4 thru 5/10). Wonder how much this promotion/reload bonus has to do with it. Very curious to hear what others experiences are right now.

It's funny how the waiting list for a table that's being dealt a milestone hand suddenly gets flooded despite the hand being in progress - it even increases after the hand is finished. Proof, I think, that there really are some droolers out there.

This is posted in the other thread, but I'll share it here too. I sent an e-mail to Stars with a specific hand number that was obviously fraudulent:

Thank you for your email.

In order to be eligible for the milestone hand, each player must be
actively playing at the table. In order to be dealt into the hand you must
have at least played one set of blinds.

Folding many hands is a style of play and cannot be judged as fraud.
There is nothing wrong with playing in the hope of getting the milestone
bonus. That is half the fun!

I trust to have alleviated your concerns and thank you for choosing
PokerStars.

Pasquale

Me. .50/$1 = "low" stakes tier. Start in 20 minutes or so, when the milestone hand gets close? (under 75k or so?)

Before I heard PokerStars' stance on the issue I felt that this was against my morals. I feel it puts me at a significant disadvantage not to play in an optimal way that is deemed legal. Sure the odds of hitting the bonus are not that great either way but there's still an edge.

A lot of the fun this promotion brought for me was getting on as many short-handed fast tables I could get on and mega-tabling games I usually wouldn't (being primarily a SNG player playing cash games for the promotion). Slamming on a fold button as fast as you can takes a lot of that away... Perhaps there is a better way to celebrate "nth" billion hands that wouldn't attract this type of play.

At least one person knew what was going on.

I suspect most people dont know about the promotion/aren't paying attention to their chat box.

With Stars current position on the HU fiasco occurring, Why is ANYONE playing full ring for a milestone. Auto fold at HU. Discouraging.
