Existing players at Full Tilt Poker who did not sign up through a rakeback site need to contact Full Tilt Support and find out if they are "tagged" to an affiliate (did you take a deposit bonus through an affiliate site when signing up)

If you are tagged then it is less likely they will give you rakeback but they will probably tell you that you've been put on a list for "possible future consideration"

If you did not sign up through an affiliate they will most likely send your information to rakebackpros and tell you that they might be in touch. Usually players get rakeback a lot quicker if they signed up directly at Full Tilt Poker (not through an affiliate).

There are also players that signed up and never deposited, again, it is easier to obtain rakeback.

But you basically contact Full Tilt Support and then maybe go on a list for Rakebackpros, that's basically it.

Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime.

At least that's what I'm trying for. These same questions get asked again and again and again and again in these forums. Rather than just answering them over and over again, I encourage people to find the answers. If you don't understand how rakeback works, you've got a tonne of things to learn. Trust me, I was there a few years ago. You don't know how much you don't know yet. If you don't do a bit of research yourself, you'll just be posting a nearly endless string of questions.

There's a crapload of threads already on where the best sites are to play; this thread is actually quite a few of them merged together. You haven't even specified if you're a US player or not, which makes a huge difference. If you're a US player, your options are fairly limited - Stars, FT, Cereus (shady IMO), Cake, and Bodog...and then the sites get a lot smaller.

I have no idea how you got a new nickname and putting something in a bonus from that thread. Anyway, HeavyTrev has it about right. You email FT asking them about RB. You'll get one of two emails back - the dreaded one telling you that you signed up through an affiliate and they might have an alternative one day blah blah blah, or the email telling you they've forwarded your info to RBP. If it's the latter, then you're just waiting for that magic day.

I think Poker Stars is the best option, and you're already playing on Full Tilt.

No, they're all American (or have been brainwashed by Americans) and don't realize there are other sites than the few they can play at.

You must try out PokerStars if you're looking for great tournaments.

Not American and dont work for Stars but Stars is absolutely head and shoulders ahead of ALL other sites IMO for virtually every reason you can think of.

FT is second, again in my humble opinion, but just wait until you have dealings with their customer service,to steal an American phrase they suck big time.

Stars everytime for every imaginable reason, different class.........

Yes I'm american. All I'm saying is stars is by far the best option for americans. I agree with you Bobo there are many excellent sites out there but we can't play there so it's tough to recommend them. Americans can only really recommend american sites. I can't tell another player to go play at paradise or titan but I can tell them that cake and AP/UB suck.

Right, but you don't mention any of that in your recommendation.

But I wasn't looking to pick on you or anyone else with my comment. I was just responding to OP's post which seemed to indicate he's noticed the plethora of pro-Stars posts we get here. They're well-deserved; Stars is a great site for many reasons. At the same time, I worry sometimes that some people don't realize that about half the posters here are American and don't have all that much choice.

It tilts me to see non-US posters, or people who don't specify, ask where they should play, and half the replies are Stars or Tilt, and then a good number of the rest are Cereus or Cake. I could see people recommending Stars or Tilt because of size, reputation, etc, but why the **** would a non-US player want to make Cereus, Cake, Merge, or any other small-medium sized US-facing room their first choice?

Anyway, that's just an example of how some of the posting here can skew recommendations, and non-US players need to be aware of it.

Stars has a deepstack that will keep you playing a long, long, long time if you make the FT: $11 for 8k chips and 30 min levels.

I wasn't sure in which forum to post this, so go ahead and move it if necessary.

I play the 11 dollars HU SnG currently playing on Cake but I hate the software and dont think that players are as bad that would make up for the tilting software, so I'm looking just to clear the bonus and get the hell out of there.

So basically my questions are:

1) How many games will it take to clear the bonus, or is it impossible without some serious volume on the low stakes? (or.. where can i find this info?)

2) If I want to move my money from Cake to another website, do I have to withdrawn and deposit again, or are there any other ways? Obv, I want to get the first deposit bonus.

3) I really like Full Tilt but I was looking for some other fishy network to build my bankroll and then come back to Full Tilt, should I do this? What are the other options that I have. I was considering Bodog, but they don't alow to track the results from Sharkscope, also Stars but they don't have rakeback. I was looking for a network/software with some decent graffics and good HH replayer and that doens't take forever to find a game and fishy

4) Should I just forget about bonus whoring and finding a fishy room to start building bankroll for now, get back to Full Tilt, learn until beating like the 33+ and then come back to think this?

I have almost none experience in these things so any advices would be great.
Thanks in advance

PS: I also posted this in husng.com site

It strikes me as funny that you're wrong, and prove yourself so with your own post.

NO, it isn't "eat your cake and have it too", you are wrong.

No, it still isn't pretty, and it's a terrible choice for non-US players.

I have an account at almost poker site, and would like to condsialte to one.
but i have a tough time decding.

I like almost everything about pokerstars expect thier rewards program. It only rewards hardcore grinders who multi-table a lot.

I hate UB thier software, the company has a bad rep but I got rakeback there.

I like full tilt even though thier support sucks. Thier software is ok and they have a good vairty games. But because ive had full tilt account since i could legally gamble I cant get rakeback. (yes i know to email rakebackpros but ive been on thier list for a month or so.)

any suggestions
