As long as you have NEVER opened up an account before at FTP, you can open up a new account and get rakeback. That's probably your best choice.

I emailed fulltilt about getting rakeback and got the response that since my account is affiliated I can't.

I currently play on microgaming but the traffic is crap for games like 10-50NL. Even though my play has improved dramatically because to win on there I pretty much have to beat 5 regs at every 6 max table, I want to play on a site that has atleast a few recreational players.

Is it worth playing without rakeback (i.e. fulltilt or pokerstars as they seem to be the most reliable sites), or can you guys recommend a better option?

In that case Poker Stars. Not comparable to FTP with RB if you can't play a ton to reach supernova, but at least you'll get VPP/FPPs which is equivalent to RB if you spend your FPPs wise.

^^^ Aformentioned Party is even better 'bang for your buck' and the traffic is not an issue.

No, very few sites have a VIP program worth 5-10% AND rakeback.

At PS, the VIP program is just worth a straight 5%-120% rakeback depending on volume and game types.

Can anyone recommend me a site to play based on following:

I play 25nl 4 tables roughly 8 hours max per week.

Poker tracker 3 compatible.

Decent rake back / bonus.

Not full tilt as have an account there.


I play currently on Stars but it us needling me that I don't have rakeback really although I do like the site.

If you are not from US you have alot of options. I would probably go with ipoker since they have great traffic.

What a decent site to play on that has PLO8 games running frequently, Please don't mention, PS, FT, UB, AP.

PLO8 Frequently? I would say Party or Cake is your best shot if they still allow australians. This is my usual game and I've checked out the smaller networks, there are never games running they may as well remove them from the lobby.

Do a bunch of kickback bonuses and find out which networks/sites you like best. If you're not familiar with kickbacks, search the term in the Internet Bonuses forum.

Rakeback is bad at Stars until you're making at least 10k vpp a month as a platinum star, but rakeback is actually higher on Stars if you're a high-volume platinum star+.

Full Tilt is the best option is you average under 10k vpp a month. They do deduct bonuses from MGR which really blows, but they have some great promos this month like Take 2 and the usual Iron Man.

Cereus network (AP and UB) have one of the best deposit bonuses, but have a history of cheating. I would be weary of playing here, even with the great deposit bonus and 30% rakeback. However, they have cleaned up their act recently, and Annie Duke has remodeled the tournament structure and it's pretty nice (depending on who you ask). The 2-7 tables also generally have some pretty good action, and they have ante tables at low limits, both of which is the only site which offer these.

Cake will give you the best combo of awesome rakeback and first deposit bonuses. High volume players can take advantage of Gold Card lotteries, gold chip satellies, great first deposit bonus, gold card races, and rakeback/rakeback freerolls/rake races. All of this can add up to amazing rakeback (no bonuses are deducted from MGR, which is huge), but the downside is lately their software has had some issues (supposedly they found the problem and it will be fixed within a few days), you cannot use HUD (can use HEM for your own stats though), and regs dominate alot of the cash games and there's noticeably not a ton of fish due to rare redeposit bonuses and they don't get the Sportsbook fishy poker players anymore. There's also a bug at 20nl right now where they're taking extra rake. I'm monitoring the situation to see if I will play there again, all depends on how they refund players that play 20nl.

Personally, I wouldn't play on any site other than these 4/5, and would probably recommend Full Tilt for what you are going to be doing in regards to grinding 10nl 6 max. Good luck to you.

Ongame has fishiest games. They also have pretty good first dep. bonuses, ~45% rb for 6-max.

Have accounts with FTP/Stars but want to broaden my horizons and give me more games to play in when games get short. I am in the uK so any sites are available.

I was wondering which sites you would recommend other than FTP/Stars where their support is reasonable, the client doesn't suck balls and the withdrawals don't take 59 days.

I was thinking about Ladbrokes, Mansion, Titan, Interpoker, Betfair or Will Hill.

Any comments would be great.

I'm looking for a new site as well but am finding it difficult to find somewhere(not ps or ftp) I can 9-table at 25nl so any suggestions would be welcome (I'm also in the uk).

Even though a lot of people don't rate them I'd definately suggest absolute poker as it has by far the worst players from any site I've experienced and support is great. The only problem for me, and reason I'm looking for a new site is the rake eating bad beat jackpot and lack of tables at 25nl for some reason...

New site I'm playing on is feltstars. Software is one of the best I've seen and its easy to find games they have about 4,000-5,000 players on at all times. Players are very weak. Still play some on FT but been spending alot of time here as the play is much weaker and I'm cashing more. They have live support and they can answer your questions on the spot instead of waiting a week for an answer. I would rank the software as good as PS/FT, but the play is definantly weaker.

I have a Titan account. Their customer service is good. The software is mediocre, but cashout was easy. Directly on to my CC.

They have a new cash for points system which works out to about 20% rakeback at the lower levels.

Games are tougher than Stars. About the same as FullTilt.
