GGPoker has 10bb buy-in. They also have 4 bb all in or fold games.

Fellow 888 players, with the ridiculous new bonus policy and now complete lack of any rakeback (not that their previous policy was much better), I am seriously contemplating switching sites.

I'm in Canada and can basically play anywhere. Leaning towards Poker Stars but I wonder if A) their bonus/rakeback policy is much better and B) their field is anywhere near as soft as 888.

Any insight would be much appreciated! Thank you.

I have been out of the loop for a while and looking to play some NL cash games and bug tournaments. Is pokerstars still the best place to play for amount of players and large tournaments. I know they got rid of supernova elite and a lot of their promotions are gimmicky. Are their sunday tournaments still the best? I noticed their covered their Sunday million price to $109.

Thanks

Johnny00,

PokerStars probably has the largest player pool, but other sites have substantially closed the gap in recent years. You can see a ranking of player numbers online here:

Hi everybody,

Recently started playing poker again after a long break. Was wondering what would be the best room to start again.

I play on a MacBook. I am from the Netherlands. Mostly play cash games. Zoom, Fast Forward etc. 25NL to start with, ambition to move up to 100NL. Think I can manage 100K hands a month.

Things to consider are: software, rakeback/bonus, "fish".
Which room would you choose and why? Pokerstars, Partypoker, another room?

Thanks!!

Stars or party. Play x ammount of hands on both sites and see where you make the best hourly. Obv if you use a hud then stars is the only option.

Hello,

I am relocating to playa del carmen, mexico. I exclusively play $20-$50 double or nothing games.

Which sites do you guys recommend in terms of traffic, competition, and rake back

Party. Isn't that the only site offering those? Stars has 50/50 without rb.

My account has been restricted for deposits/withdrawals for some cryptic reason.
Apparently the not so intelligent Pokerstars AI has associated me with some shady user.
Could not care less, because I neither know the alleged shady user, nor have I done anything wrong other the regularly depositing and losing .

However, this is an annoying repeat. Last time it took Pokerstars almost a month to resolve the issue. I actually did never receive any explanation, nor notification. They did not respond to emails, did not send any updates, nothing. So now I will try to get a reaction by posting this where I can.

The upside: I have no money on the site now, and can use my bankroll to check other innovative poker sites. Any suggestions?

Hello all
I was a regular on PS/FTP from 07 to probably 2015 or so (Canadian) but haven't played much since.

I have a few questions if I'm looking to potentially play more volume.

Is there any change in what site(s) have the biggest playerbases these days? (this can include US)

Which are the best for cashing in/cashing out

Are there any that work well on Chromebooks?

Thanks

I am a bit tired of having my account frozen several times a month, dealing with software bugs and crashes, and a horrible customer support. I feel motivated to start boycotting Pokerstars for at least the rest of 2020. Unfortunately, I suspect the reason they allow themselves to treat their customers like **** is because they have some sort of monopoly on volume and game offers. Am I wrong?

I don't buy the "we are having problems due covid-19" because I know on first hand that customer support is a job that can be done from home, and there is so many people desperate to work from home right now, they could have find a way to keep their site running almost perfectly but chose not to.

So, is there any alternative decent option for anyone who wants to play 18 & 45 man Turbos, around 50-100 games per session? And hopefully on a Mac?...

I am doing a $20 o $2000 bankroll challenge since 2 weeks ago, which is going good so far (except that Pokerstars froze my account 4 times already during the last month), and I am putting the hours every day. Given how unreliable they are, I am worried about investing any more of my time on this site.

I have being a loyal customer for 10 years (I never tried another site, rather than the very old Full Tilt, and the Pokerstars' Full Tilt) but I feel ready for a change now.

Any suggestions? Or is it all bad news for me?

I know this thread has more questions than answers in recent years, but I'll try to give a more detailed request than most people here and hopefully someone can help.

I'm in the UK. I've never played anywhere other than PS this decade (had a few accounts pre-Black Friday), but I realised that I was putting in enough volume that the lack of rakeback was starting to hurt. Also, having followed the developments since Amaya took over, I realised that I should probably move my play somewhere for reasons of principle, if nothing else. So after a break while finishing my studies and applying for jobs, I'm getting back to it with a RIO training course and hopefully a new poker room.

So I want to find a site for micro NL cash games (will probably start at NL10 and move up once/if I'm rolled).

Priorities are:

* oriented towards players rather than profits as much as possible

* games ideally reasonably soft, not too devoid of recs/full of bots

* good rakeback and rake that isn't ludicrous

* would prefer to use a HUD, but this isn't a dealbreaker if the other factors are there

I was considering RIO as I'm already doing their training, and they seem to be trying to do things the right way (rake is reasonable, good rakeback, etc.). I am somewhat concerned that the player pool will be much stronger, though, given that it's marketed towards people with more serious an interest in poker than the likes of PS and Party. I was winning at PS, so if the player pool was at that sort of level that would be fine. Mostly, I just want to get better and take the game seriously, hopefully moving up some levels over time.

It might be worth your while reading the US players' thread for sites, games and play at https://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/2...-19-a-1238038/, as well. You should be able to choose to play on most of those sites , too, if you wish.

Thanks man. Any thoughts about the differences/strengths/weaknesses of these sites? The only one I'm at all familiar with is GG, and when I looked it up it had fairly awful rake at the micros.

Interesting. I had assumed that, given the comparatively few sites available to US players, looking at that thread would be looking at a much constrained selection. Most people in the US play on Ignition and/or ACR, right? How would you say those compare to the typical European options?

Hi. What do you think of poker time now? Scam problems were reported months ago. Not much is heard lately. Is it because there are no people playing pokertime, or is it all more honest now?
