What is the best site for beginners and intermediate players, this is site should have a good size of recreational players, decent/good software, good rake back rates, easy to despoit and withdrawal options and good customer service.

I leaning towards Party Poker, are there any sites, that fit this criteria? What sites would you guys say?

My brother in law and his friends asked me this and I said Party poker, did not want to look like any idiot, in front of them and I could not think of anything.

Not up on all the VIP programs etc.

If you could play either Party Poker or PokerStars and played micro and low stakes cash, which would you choose and why?

read som vip program analysis - both rakerace.com/raketherake.com have details or google other affiliate site that has them. if you plau on party register thru affiliate which gives you rake race.
if you deposit on party you will not be able to withdraw until you rake in certain amount in points. on stars i dont think you will have problems if you decide to cash out. on party u will pay like 2bb/100 more in rake. you should be able to get better vip/rakeback deal at party nowadays. pokerstars has much better software for playing many tables.

Searching a site (germany) to play SNGs 15$ other then pokerstars were Holdem Manager is allowed (HUD). THX

you may try winning poker network , this will be a chance to find those games running . with very low traffic 888poker but no recomandation on this site.

so you have to give a chance to winning network , play on stars or change your game

If you don't require a HUD/Script then Unibet is probably your best option.

I live in Europe and currently play with William Hill on ipoker. I personally fund that there are times where v few games are available at 10NL - 20NL.

I was looking for a new site and wondering what the best sites where that included US players as I believe that would make a bigger player pool.

But I would like to be sure I have no problems withdrawing when and if the time comes

you may try chico network aka tigergaming and find also an affiliate with personall rake race : few are sharing rake races and other dont , make analise before and see where you ll get better advantage

they have fast cash outs , good promotions , and affiliates rake race !

for what he wish he must make a decision between winning network where the system get crush preatty often or chico having fast cash outs and would be really good to have a very good affiliate

That's not a good assumption. There aren't, to my knowledge, any sites that legally offer real money poker games to players in the UK that share games with US players. If you're in the UK, that might be an issue for you.

I found it a bit strange tho, that whenever I looked at poker listings 888 was at the top of every one, like they were paying to be there or something.. I've been with 888 before and found their cashier did not work due to window sizing issues, in short I got so frustrated I went elsewhere.

I notice Pokerstars has the top spot there currently, plus a lot of the guys here post hands from there. So may be a good choice.

I've read such bad things about the sites that allow US players in terms of payout problems I'm certainly reconsidering.

I would recommend 24Hbet or whatever it is called now (old 24h poker) I never had any issues cashing out from them. Although it has been a while since my last cash out

If by "poker listings", you mean sites you found through Google, you've probably come across a lot of affiliate sites, and shouldn't find such things strange but quite normal. I don't know of a single site whose rankings I'd rely on - usually best to ask around and read existing threads on forums like this one.

Hi. In light of another major skin closing down services to Canadians (William Hill) I'd like to start this thread to generate ideas of where Canadians can find sites that accept Canadian deposits and withdraws and have good games.

Hopefully this can be a thread where other Canadian online players can find support and make contacts to ease the search for good games.

Microgaming Network--Has fairly constant 400nl action and some 600nl-2000nl action daily. They offer Ecopayz which is an excellent deposit/withdraw method for larger sums, very similar to Skrill, as well as other deposit methods.

Tiger Gaming--Some of the worst software I've ever played. Though there is some 400-1000nl action and they have Ecopayz which is a plus.

888 Poker--Some 400nl-1000nl NLHE action but pretty poor software and annoying deposit options. I was not able to even send a bank wire to them. And Instadebit has conversion fees for the US account.

Party Poker--Constant 400nl-2000nl action. Bank wires take some time but it is possible to get money on. A good option for Canadians.

Do any skins/sites have decent PLO traffic besides:

1) Stars
2) Ipoker
3) microgaming

Plo 25 and Plo 50 6 max?

I have tried to check clients but I need to create accounts and looking through poker scout it seems no where else has any traffic?

Even 888 and partypoker which are meant to be the next biggest have max 2 tables running.

Anybody else know anywhere else? does sky poker or tiger gaming have any PLO traffic? I downloaded both clients but it wont let me see the lobby's without creating an account.

Unibet has pretty decent PLO traffic in the micros at least. It also has lower rake than the bigger networks. At the time of writing (7pm Saturday UK time) I think there are 3 active tables at PLO50, but you should ask the rep in the official thread if you have any more questions. /shillmode

In regards to Canadians seeking good networks, Ipoker seems to be completely off the table. No William Hill. No Winner Poker. That is a recent change. Please PM me if you have any thoughts.

There's still plenty of good options for us. The best site depends on what games you like and what you want out of poker.

Like a lot of people, I want to move away from PS after they changed their reward system. I just don't know which sites are the most trustworthy. I've heard horror stories about pretty much every site. BTW, I live in Canada and would prefer a site that has some form of Zoom poker. Thanks.
