Some 7-8 months ago, through the prompting of my agent, I began playing on pokerr2. It was love at first sight, as I had never come across softer games before or since. One of the first clubs I joined was ‘Let’s Poker’ and I started crushing immediately. The first day playing, I won their free roll. The club only offered a single table of 100nl. The pool was composed of a wide net of recreational players from ‘fit or fold’ fish to maniacs playing nearly every hand. To give you a sense of just how bad the players were, I’m not sure I ever encountered a single reg while playing in that club. Or if I did, it was so rare that I can’t say for sure if it ever occurred. After about a week or so of winning at a rate of 30bb/100 the backlash came.
The first screenshot is of my agent informing me of the situation. Then my agent and the club owner, before they add me to the chat. The last image is me and my agent.

The club did cash me out and we did move on. Then a month or so ago, I met a reg on the app and we started conversing on telegram. We exchanged some information on good clubs to play in and I warned him about my experience on ‘Let’s Poker.’

Not two weeks passed before the same accusations leveled at me were thrown at him. I realized in that moment what should have been obvious from the start. This was the softest pool I’d ever encountered because they ban any players who consistently win.

A common tactic of deception is to play the fool. This can be seen through the public statements of Kim Jong-un or in declassified CIA manuals on the topic. Playing the fool is effective because past a certain point, it becomes impossible to determine if the person is practicing extreme deception or just an idiot. But the answer to such questions is largely irrelevant in this situation: the outcome is the same regardless of which is true.
As far as we can tell, the host/owner of Let’s Poker, David Joseph, has no understanding of what a bot/RTA is or how they operate. We asked for evidence countless times, only to receive antidotes, speculation, absurd patterns, etc.
We must conclude that they do not understand what evidence is and have no understanding of empiricism or science. We feel certain that they are unaware that the brain is primed to find patterns, especially when they are self-serving. No doubt, they will see the interaction discussed here as 'evidence' of a conspiracy rather than the completely innocuous and regular practice of good players communicating in small player pools
Let's Poker claims to use a third-party bot detection service which verifies their accusations. They then ban the player, stealing their funds. The website is aibotdetector.com. It is a new, hastily created, ‘minimalistic,’ and unfinished site. The idea that these guys are sophisticated enough to adapt artificial intelligence but unable to design a website using anything but motifs from 1990 is unthinkable. We reached out to the site, but never received a response. As far as we can determine, the site has no online presence at all. It seems probable to us that 'Let's Poker' is behind the website. Although it is possible he is just being scammed by them. We never could reach agreement if David Joseph is merely playing the fool or is a fool.
We offer this account of events as a warning to others. We have nothing to gain from these exposures. In the end, we felt we had a moral responsibility to publicize this account. And to support the integrity of the game, no matter how small such actions may be in the grand scheme.
