This is a rough translation of a thread from russian poker forum gipsyteam. The thread starter is my friend, GG screenname Loktiboga, plays shortdeck.


December 14th, I logged into my account and at first thought that gg client is lagging. My balance showed $0 (i had ~$4300)
Opened the cashier, saw that funds were used to play casino games.


Messaged support, they replied
"We can confirm that login was from a different IP address that has not been used before. Unfortunately, we were not able to get back your funds as they were lost in "Casino" tab."
(i could attach screenshot, but it is in Russian)

Oh well, i thought, this is my fault, should've used 2FA.
But then I went to check full balance history and found out that hacker actually logged into my account on 3 separate occasions in 3 days. And in fact he did not lose money initially. He won and sent money to his account.




But pokerok support told me that my money was lost in Casino games? Well yeah, not before hacker made 2 transfers to his accounts, which were not frozen and investigated by anti-fraud team somehow.
After that i messaged support again and provided more details.
Their reply - "This account was reported to security team as soon as you messaged us and we took certain measures according to our rules. If we had the possibility of getting back your funds, we would've done it. Unfortunately we cannot share details.


TL;DR account was hacked, hacker played roulette, won money and transfered it to his account. Support said that money was lost in casino and didn't take any action.

Pokerok database has been compromised. If you play on Pokerok make sure you have 2FA on.
This is one of many cases of this happening. There are rising suspicions that somebody from pokerok security team/executive is behind this.
I'll post about another case, that made me 100% sure about pokerok's involvment in scamming, as soon as i get all the screenshots.
