As I predicted, the network could have grown 30% with the move. Hopefully the lobby changes and upcoming increased tournament schedules will rekindle some of the interest of these PH players. Also, with any luck the account transition issues reported in this and the EPN threads will be resolved (I got one of mine resolved today) quickly and that too should help get the counts back up. *crosses fingers*

When they made the change a lot of people were upset, people who made accounts, deposits, screen names etc the day of the change have legitimate reason to be a little weirded out. Of course we cant do much after reading and accepting the site terms, although we don't have to like it.

My guess is that karma will even things out in the end and this sites traffic will be adjusted accordingly..

OK, so I'm coming back to online poker after a "sabbatical", and I see the ch-ch-ch-changes made.

I had an account on Poker Host, and I also messed around with 5Dimes sportsbook at one point. I can't remember if I created a 5Dimes poker account (or if it's already created for you by default). I installed Full Flush Poker to check it out, and am thinking about a deposit there. Now I see this information (Poker Host moved to Equity) and am wondering what to do. It looks like the rakeback is better on Full Flush, so I'll probably be saying goodbye to Poker Host and 5Dimes Poker. Or is 5Dimes better and I should cancel Full Flush and Poker Host?

What to do... crappy situation. Don't they realize most of us sign up to every USA poker site available? Feel like we're being punished for no good / logical reason.

Currently 5Dimes has by far the best rakeback via their POP rewards. Full Flush and PokerHost are currently only offering 5% through their POPs.

I'd just go to one of the 3 real poker networks that are available to you.

Just finally got my PH account re-activated today.
Like many others that have written here - I did open an account on FullFlash, never deposited there.

Surely the network did screw PH. How many people did not play for how many days, and how many would move away because of this experience.
The network is not so amazing - and difficulties thrown at people - this is not like offering honey to the bees.

Anyway - I will give it a good try, and I wish PH good luck, have been playing on their site for many years.

Does the PH and/or Network not spawn a new Omaha table when one is full? Is this a bug or flaw? Fix this.

Is anyone else having issues when your seat comes up after being on the waitlist? Its been a few times now that i accept seat, go to buy in, pop up window comes up then it never takes the seat...So frustrating at times.

That happened to me today. I kept staring at the table asking myself, "Where am I?".

Has anyone one else been banned from PH? I've been playing some the last 3 days trying it out and all of a sudden it booted me off in the middle of a SnG today told me my account was disabled and to contact support.

Yes. Id imagine people have been banned from every poker site for a myriad of reasons. That fact however most likely will be of no help to you. Id suggest you contact support like you were instructed. If you havent cheated or broken any rules I wouldnt worry too much yet. The issue could be something as simple as the site wanting ID verification for whatever reason for example.

It wasn't a ban due to cheating or breaking any rules..

They said: "At this time your Poker Host has been closed, since our network has come to this decision after checking your table activity and have notice your aggressive play within the network, they have done a serious of background checks in order to come to this conclusion, at this time since we are in a small but growing poker network we cannot afford your aggressive behavior , we are now in a network the focuses on having recreational poker players and you do not meet this criteria, we thank you for your business at Poker Host, but at this time we will restricted your account."

and: "we are saying that your game level is not recreational, and we like that but at this moment we can not afford your aggressive behavior."

Sure they can. But its pretty bizarre and just wow is all I can think to say if they are referring to your play.

Are you sure they arent referring to your chat behavior and interaction with other players? Do you use the chat feature at all while you play?

Yeah, thats strange. Assuming everything you say is accurate, thats pretty ****ty just in general and raises a lot of questions regarding their alleged background checks and the credibility of the site in general imho if they would go as far as banning a player for nothing more than likely being a decent player.

Perhaps kahn can look into this for you. He has a lot of network connections and usually is very helpful. Maybe at least he can get some additional info. He posts here frequently. He will see this.

A forum member that is active in this thread and has a better understanding and knowledge of the inner workings at Pokerhost and many other sites than a lot of us due to his work as an affiliate and general connections he has made as a member of the poker community over the years. He is also generally very helpful if he at all can be.

For the record, Im not saying he has any additional info to add here, so I hope it didnt come off as putting him on the spot. But he or others will be more likely to help you understand what just happened to your account and what PH is doing than I am I guess is a better way of putting it fwiw.
