Recently met with a poker site who was talking about adding an option for players to be allowed to make last longer bets with other players in the same tournament. There was some worry that it would be used to money launder, but I guess the site is planning to make it similar to a money transfer, and somehow that will allow them to offer this feature. If a reputable site were to add this feature would you use it?

Now, if the site decided to charge a 3% vig from each player who made the last longer bet, would you still use the feature?

Curious of what other players think about this being implemented.

Side Note: I think they would have a fairly low max on the amount that could be bet in any one tournament on a last longer, and a max on the amt of players that could participate in any one single last longer bet.

Seems like a bad idea overall and unnecessary. Would possibly use if no vig but would never use with a vig when I could just pay the bet by other means.

They are already available on PS. Its called player xfer....

So to answer your question, why would i ever pay a vig on that?

I asked the same thing, but I guess they think there are players who want to do it with larger groups of players or with random players, and a p2p transfer cannot always be trusted with a random player you do not know. However, you can offer a last longer with a player you don't know for fun, and once it's in the system---it's getting paid to the winner no matter what. That was the answer I was given.
