Hello everyone.
I am a player from Iran. When I first started looking for online rooms to play on , It was very hard to find one (not to mention a good one!)
And I don't see much out there for players like me who are looking for rooms to play on.
What does this topic effect? And It's useful for who!?
All the players From Iran , Afghanistan , Pakistan , Dubai (Maybe!?) , Turkey and any other countries that gambling is prohibited there (Mostly Islamic Countries) and/or are not welcome in major poker rooms.

Why do you need to play on these Rooms?
1- There are tons of online rooms in Iran (for example) that are offering online poker BUT because it's prohibited in here , You're funds are never safe there.
2- Most of the rooms down here are using weak software like "Poker Mavens" with no security.
3- Traffic is awful!
4- Because the traffic is awful , You will see a huge number of "room players" who are getting staked by Room just to fill up the tables! They share cards , most of them are bots etc...



So , Lets get to the Rooms that I found until now.
Please notice: As an Iranian residence , We only have access to Bitcoin and Webmoney as a payment method. So the rooms I will mention will accept one of these methods as Deposit AND withdrawal options

Please note: I don't recommend any of the rooms more than the next one! There is no order in rooms and you have to do you're homework on the room before joining. I just introduce them.

Rooms:
1- Winning Poker Network => Americas Card Room / True Poker / Black Chip poker (Bitcoin Accepted - HUDs allowed)
2- Chico Network => BetOnline / Tiger Gaming (Bitcoin Accepted - HUDs allowed)
3- Micro Gaming Network => Red Star Poker (Webmoney Accepted a year ago! I don't know now! - HUDs allowed)


Notes:
1- Please gamble responsibly!
2- Please make sure about your region regulations before joining any gambling network. (For example in Iran , Playing poker is not illegal , Hosting one is!)
3- If anyone knows about any other network please post it here for me and others to know as well!!

PS: Anyone who reads this post (including my country mans) Please post in English. This is a public forum and a lot of people from different countries and languages will read it.

SwC Poker - Bitcoin native. HUDs allowed but I don't know of any that work.
Betcoin Poker - Bitcoin native, also supports Litecoin and Etherium. WPN software. Shares tournaments with WPN but also has its own tournaments and cash games. HUDs allowed and work just like WPN.
Nitrogen Sports - Bitcoin native, no HUDs.

None of these have a ton of traffic but if the alternative is a Mavens site they're a big step up.

Anyhow, I'd try Seals. Some free rolls you could play without even having funds

yeah swcpoker.eu (seals) is where you can deposit and withdraw via BTC, which seems like the safest option (literally), given your place of residence.

Isn´t collusion a big problem with these anonymous Bitcoin poker rooms? I have a hard time believing that they have sophisticated security systems in place.

I have concerns about that things as well. But everyone who want to try a room has to do some research before puting $ in the line!

Oh natural8 and GG network I actually never considered.
Games should be pretty soft too.

Does Iran support any rooms on the Revolution network?

If not, the one room I know of that both A) accepts players from EVERY country in the world and B) accepts BTC deposits and payouts without fail, in a very short amount of time, is swcpoker.eu.

But I would strongly urge you to organize peaceful campaigns w your local and national politicians, so that they change their stance wrt online gaming (particularly poker, where you can demonstrate that poker is a skill based game). Bitcoin poker platforms/rooms/clubs definitely the way to go.

Considering that gambling is forbidden by the Islamic faith very few in a theocracy like Iran would be supportive of legalizing/regulating online poker. The Middle East will be a dead zone for poker for the foreseeable future as almost no one will do it.

How secure are those sites against collusion etc?

just play on the apps, deposit with BTC or skrill/neteller.

More to the point of the thread - WPN has middle eastern players for sure, and you can't check location AFAIK on Chico but I'm sure they're there too.

I don't like anonymous sites, the potential downsides greatly outweigh the advantage you get from it in my opinion.

I thought betcoinc closed their poker room, I know they managed to pay jackpot but shut down leaving only sports book , no more poker.

I am grinding 100 and 200NL at Microgaming and GG network at the moment and I do suggest them both.
Specially MPN for micro Stakes up to 50NL.. Has decent traffic

what's the problem with a Mevens site?

Hey everyone...
I'm from Iran and have the same issue with finding good online poker sites to play safely from Iran. After searching all popular and known sites and contacting them, I find following sites that we can play in there with a brief of their specs.

1-redstar poker: it's an ipoker network skin, which is a trusted network in poker industry. I play here mostly (cash to NL100 have descent traffic) and they support Iranian completely. It allows using HUD, and a great benefit (in my opinion) is that it doesn't need vpn to play (vpn is only for downloading/deposit/withdraw/contact). Tt supports webmoney/bitcoin to deposit and withdraw that is great for Iranians. For verification you need a passport and utility bill for address verification (I upload my band statement in Persian, and they accept it). Cash out is usually less than 1 day and support is very good in my experience.

2-ACR (amercascardrrom): it's a WPN network skin, another known poker network. It allows using HUD and have descent traffic in cash but huge if you are a tournament player (a lot of million dollars). You should use a vpn to play from Iran (they may ask you why you're using vpn, as is against their policy, just say that "I'm forced to use vpn to play from Iran" and they'll understand it) and for cashier webmoney/bitocin is available. For verification you should prepare utility bill (or bank statement) in English language (which is not a problem). Cash out is a little longer that redstar (in my experience) but it's ok.

3-7xl: its a GG network skin, the greatest poker network in the world. It doesn't allow HUD. You will need a vpn and also an agent to play from Iran (Iranians aren't allowed to play on GG, so you need an agent to play there and no need for verification if cash out is taken via bitcoin, as I know). Cashier options contain webmoney and bitcoin which are suitable for Iranians.

4-shenpoker: it's a IDN network skin and has huge traffic. It doesn't required any verification. The only thing you need is a vpn (only through eastern countries). It's all based on web browser (no client, no HUD, no app) and its security is not as above sites as I read through websites. The payment is through bitcoin.

5- The last one on this list is mobile based apps like "Poker Bros" and "PPPoker'. I don't have any experience with these apps but the only thing you need is an agent to deposit and withdraw through him (check worldpokerdeals.com for agent for ex. if you're interested on playing poker from mobile).

If I want summarize it (all is based on my experience and opinion not anything else):
If you want play cash and HUD is important for you -> 1. redstar, 2. ACR
If you want play tournament and HUD is important for you -> 1. ACR, 2. redstar
If HUD doesn't matter -> play on 7xl because of its huge traffic (GG network) both on cash/tournaments
If you like play from mobile or tablet -> poker bros
