Poker Apps Blacklist Poker Apps Blacklist

This is not spam, or advertising of any kind. I have zero connection to this, but now that it is public knowledge, I figured I'd let everyone know about it.

Blacklist.poker is a website that just went up today. It's sole purpose is to list players, agents, clubs and unions that have been proven to steal from people in the industry.

Those on the list have charged back deposits to agents, stolen from players and run collusion clubs while being a part of larger unions.

Just making this available as a resource to keep abreast of and help players avoid undesirable situations.

The list is updated very frequently, and is up to date.

Is there a reason this list should be trusted than the last one I've seen posted on our forums? This one have even less information - actually, none that I can see, other than names.

I wasn't aware of any list for the app world. Apologies if this is redundant...

For the "app world", no. I don't know why it would need a separate list.

Regardless, again, is there a reason this list that provides ZERO information other than a bunch of names, should be trusted? I assume it's your site, or you have some kind of relationship with the creator.

I did not realize there was already a blacklist on these forums. I've never seen one.

I have absolutely zero connection to this website. I am in a group on Facebook that is made up of mostly club owners and agents. In that group, scammers, bum agents, bum clubs and unions and other unsavory members of the poker world are exposed with proof, then added to the master list. I was added by a club owner because an agent ran off with my funds for a bit. Through the group I was able to have someone reach out and collect it for me.

One of the group members put the site up and I'm just sharing it here since the apps are the only halfway decent option to play real money poker. I"m just sharing it for awareness. Whether or not the post stays up is up to you of course, but I think it's a good resource to know about.

Well, there's an entire forum here dedicated to the subject:

https://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/2...-amp-disputes/

But that's not quite the same thing, and it's not what I was referring to. Someone else created a thread that I can't seem to find now, that was about another site. It actually primarily consisted of a cut-and-paste of 2+2's own negative feedback thread, with some additions. I think the first post was critical of the site, but if not, certainly others were - that they wouldn't take names down when people disputed the reason they were on there. That's the downside of any site like this, as opposed to a forum - people don't get to tell their own side of the story. But I should also add that site, unlike the one you've linked, had a lot of personal info, so there were legitimate legal/privacy issues.

The site you've linked is unique in that it's dedicated to apps. It's also lacking in any kind of evidence, or information about who has created it, criteria, accusations, etc. I'm not looking for you (or anyone) to defend it; just pointing out what I think are some pretty large shortcomings.

Sorry for the assumption - when someone posts about a site created that day, it typically means they're directly involved, but I can see how it came about otherwise. Not that it was a knock - I just thought you might have more personal knowledge about the site if you were involved.

So the list on the site is copied verbatim from the group list, doesn't look like there was much editing or anything done to clean up the format of the list.

The group does list undeniable proof of the incidents, that's for sure. They won't let a post go up without it, actually.

Other than that, I don't know who put the site up though.

And no worries, I understand you've got a job to do, in order to keep the forums as clean as possible.
