Playing on Pokerstars (PA) using remote desktop connection? Playing on Pokerstars (PA) using remote desktop connection?

I live in PA and play regularly on Pokerstars Pennsylvania using my desktop. Due to both COVID and the holidays Season, I will be living outside of the state for extended periods of time. I was wondering if it would be possible to remotely connect to my desktop in PA from my laptop and play?

I know this would likely be against TOS but am wondering if it traceable if I took the right precautions? I believe that would include TeamViewer (alternatives?) and creating a user account on my PC specifically for remote play.

I have read some post about this and there are a lot of posts about people trying to play on major poker platforms (Stars, GG, etc.) from the US which is different than actually having a legit PC setup in the region and legit account/financial information.

What would happen if caught? Freeze my account? Could they try to make me repay winnings I have already withdrawn?

Thanks in advance.

It has been well reported that they have pretty sophisticated techniques to detect this stuff (and teamviewer etc not hard to detect FWIW irrespective of the precautions). You are putting your account at risk by doing this.

Any remote connection is easily detectable by their geolocation tools. YOu'd have your account frozen and likely banned with the additional potential to have your balance confiscated. Also remember that this isn't some offshore site; this a regulated poker site within the state of PA so purposely breaking TOS could also have additional legal ramifications. Attempting to circumvent goelocation is a really poor idea in this case.

Maybe there are ways to make this successful but my understanding is that it is a bad idea. And if Teamviewer is your strategy to pull this off then obviously you aren't very sophisticated at this stuff.
They can ban you and can confiscate your money.

Based on your post and my limited understanding I wouldn't best you pulling this off undetected if you gave me 50/50 odds of lasting one week of play without them catching you I would bet against you in a heartbeat.

No, good idea. bly isn't a good idea.
Potentially you can dork around on ACR or Pokerbros or something to get your poker fix outside PA. Not the same but unregulated options in the U.S. are limited.

You won’t even be able to load the client with it. When I travelled to PA I had to disable Remote Desktop as it wouldn’t allow me to open stars.

Thank you all for the responses, much appreciated. While I assume there is a sophisticated way to accomplish my goal, I am going to play by the rules.

I guess I will have to use the time off to study my game and play ACR/bovada.

Many thanks friends, and sending you all some run good.
