I know this would likely be against TOS but am wondering if it traceable if I took the right precautions? I believe that would include TeamViewer (alternatives?) and creating a user account on my PC specifically for remote play.
I have read some post about this and there are a lot of posts about people trying to play on major poker platforms (Stars, GG, etc.) from the US which is different than actually having a legit PC setup in the region and legit account/financial information.
What would happen if caught? Freeze my account? Could they try to make me repay winnings I have already withdrawn?
Thanks in advance.
Any remote connection is easily detectable by their geolocation tools. YOu'd have your account frozen and likely banned with the additional potential to have your balance confiscated. Also remember that this isn't some offshore site; this a regulated poker site within the state of PA so purposely breaking TOS could also have additional legal ramifications. Attempting to circumvent goelocation is a really poor idea in this case.
