after he posted about epassporte i pm'ed him right away saying id trade and pay 10%, however I told him he had to send first because of the amount of trading i do on here and I never heard back. I was certain he was a scammer from there as I pm'ed him 5 mins after his post and saw he received it. Newish posters really need to be more careful and in the future if I see anything fishy i'll post it to save some people some money

My trade with Black Peter for $600 just went smoothly. He was great to deal with and the whole deal only took a few minutes.

However it looks like we got hit with an elaborate scam attempt. Black Peter said that someone IM'ed him claiming to be me. The alleged scammer knew my Full Tilt screenname, which I think I have posted in a hand history once a while ago, so he must have taken a lot of effort to go through all my posts. He also must have gone through a number of Black Peter's posts to find his AIM screenname.

Black Peter said the scammer was rakeguru on AIM and claimed to be gemini_jjp on Stars. Black Peter said he would confirm this and post the AIM convo here.

In general everyone should be very careful when trying transfers here. It looks like there are a number of people trying really hard to scam you out of your money.

I don't think this guy posts here (he does on another forum I visit) but just wanted to give you guys a heads up for the future: FishyFishyFish on FTP is a confirmed scammer.
