Person to person transfers [First post is "MUST READ" for Posting Rules; or receive points] - Page 249 - Internet Poker

Just got scammed big time by user TenEightClubs. With my low post count I didn't get anyone else to help me (e.g. nation right above me), and given the content of the posts of his and apparently successful transfers with others saying so, I thought I was safe with him. NO.

I have a whole series of pm's, all saved, as well as supposed usernames on FTP and Stars. FTP name is PercentileDoom, and Stars supposedly fumbo420.

Just unbelievable. Real smooth scam, and I'm an idiot for falling for it.

Do you guys not check the alleged scammers list in the Zoo thread before you trade? Although he had not been added to the alleged scammers list, teneightclubs was included in the "watch" list earlier today. That should at least make you think twice about sending first, or a large sum first.

I currently have no $ on Stars, but I could probably deposit some to swap with if it were worth my while (read 5% vig) -- so I guess established posters (e.g. 1K+ posts) who are willing to pay a vig can PM me if they want to do a swap (of amounts 2K+). My reputation in the huge zoo thread was completely unblemished (probably the only person who can say that). I will never send first under any circumstances (just so there's no negotiation about that down the line.) I also will not accept return funds on Cake or UB or AP (prob only FTP or Party to be honest).
