The Summer Cash Dash is over. Any rake race for non-Omaha players in September?

We are planning to launch some 72-hour mid week rake races this month to plug the gap left by Summer Cash Dash's ending. These will be targetted to benefit those players who benefitted the most from Summer Cash Dash - i.e. those who play the most mid week! The first one should be launched next week, so keep an eye out for an email with full details. I'll also post the details here when I know the score.

We havnt seen any sort of reload bonus for months either, any sign ?

With regards rake races, we have a new Gumball 72-hour Rake Rally starting tonight at midnight and running from Sept 8th - Sept 10th, with $3,000 to be won by the top 30 players. The webpage isn't live just yet but I'll be sending out an email to all active players this afternoon with the details.

Not sure when the next one is planned - maybe later in the month. It was under 'Specials' as it was a special freeroll - sorry you couldn't find it! It was full at 500 players quite quickly after I had posted the info, so I'm happy that some players got to enjoy it and share in the free cash.

Hopefully I'll have more info in a similar vein in the near future.

Sorry - don't have an update yet....BUT...


With regard the resizeable tables, the Ops team spoke with iPoker management yesterday and resizeable tables are only months away - this time they mean it! Honestly we should have them within the next four months or so and as usual, as one of iPoker's best partners paddypowerpoker.com will be among the first batch of skins that get to release the new software updates.

On that note, we're actually having a fairly major software update on Monday or Tuesday which players will really like (I think) - I will come back to update the thread when the big red button is pushed and the updates applied!

Just so everybody knows, this update f*cks up MMM (Santa is working on it though), so you won't be able to use it.

For the tournament junkies out there, we're running some Back To School specials on Mondays and Tuesdays over the next few weeks with cash added to each prizepool:



The first tournament is a $3 rebuy (we're thinking of student bankrolls here) next Monday at 7.30pm - hopefully should be value for those planning to play.

just so you know - I have a 50 eur bet with both the iPoker Ops Manager and the Playtech Poker Product manager on the delivery of resizeable tables. The bet is that they can deliver resizeable tables to me in preview before the end of the year - they bet that they can and I bet that they cant. If they win the bet I will be delighted to lose my 100euro.

If they win the bet I expect resizeable tables in preview in Mid December and based on UAT and bug snagging I expect that we go live with resizeable tables in very early 2009. FWIW they tell me that they are already playing on the resizeable tables behind the closed doors of the Playtech Manor and that they are a really great product and are very pleased with the outcome of their work - we have been waiting long enough for them so they better be good.
