How do I report possible scammers hitting me up on PM, but not posting in the thread?

Just use the proper etiquette. In the thread, quote the person you are messaging with your information and "PM sent", then PM them. Many scammers do not post in the thread and this is how we can protect ourselves and others from scams and allows easier tracking of who is trying to do what.

How long does p2p transfer typically take on wpn? Sent $600 to a close friend and it’s been five days. Yes I know this person and there’s no foul play on his end

Contact them in Twitter for assistance. Grab screenshots of financial history from your account to show them via DM.

not to be debbie downer but at least once a year someone posts in a thread like this asking about fixing a failed transfer from a friend who'd never in a million years scam them

many of us have been scammed, it's often done by people you are very close with - hence why they are in a position to be engaged with you in a financial transaction to begin with

hope that's not the case and it's genuinely the site but if you search 2p2 you'd be surprised just how many degenerates will gladly "borrow" $600 without telling the other person they will be "borrowing it" but pretending like it's a legit transfer and then intending to run it up and then pay it back but then lose and go with the "I never received it" route

like half the time someone decides to host a big contest and escrows the money is because they needed a bankroll and figured they'd run positive in the meantime and nobody would ever know that money was transferred to the heads up tables instead of sitting in his account as actual escrow

in the cashier it should show if the transfer is pending or completed or rejected

if still pending, check with support
if completed, check with your friend. any chance you sent to the wrong username?
if it was rejected, it should show that also, and then you could check with support as to why

To this day it is still pending. I have attempted to contact support with no luck. There is a 0% chance that this particular person would screw me over. I’m still trying to get to the bottom of it

I have seen this happen in the past ... If it's pending the transfer is in a limbo state support has to cancel it and it will come back to your account... Your friend didn't scam you!

Just contact support and it will be fixed.

Scamming by sending first

How can someone scam u by sending first? Some low post account recently contacted me via pn out of the blue for a transfer and he was willing to send first. He could be legit but dissappeared after i asked him some questions. He told me he would send first.

Now my question here: is it possible for someone to scam in any form by sending first?

Any opinions on this?

Middleman. Talking to someone else at the same time and they make that person send to you first. Then you send to them. You dont get scammed but the 3rd guy you have no idea about does.

They send via PP or CC payment through an ewallet and then reverse it after you've completed your end
