Bro, no offense, but you have 28 posts. There are several traders here with a much more extensive trading history, to refuse to go first with everyone is kind of insane and you're going to shut yourself off from some of the most reliable people on here.

One caveat is that in the Bonition forums, buyers are ALWAYS expected to pay first, and the funds of the seller are verified before they can post in marketplace. This doesn't stop those from the PM attempts. Its more moderated there, but some scammers are getting through with charge backs.

In lieu here, folks should sit at table with seller (how many trades can you have with 28 posts) and see the funds available.

He agreed to swap $150 ACR for my Venmo, which I sent first to him (my ACR is: gAmesmAnship). Shortly after sending Venmo to him, he messaged me saying; "FML I just sent to the wrong person, I'm so sorry I will fix this."

FWIW, I have swapped with Jay a handful of times in recent months/years and all transactions have been flawless before this. Long story short, after multiple PM's over the course of a few days he reassured me that he would 100% be sending funds my way to make things right...just needed a little time ("so sorry for all of this, please give me until next weekend").

He currently has not logged in for a week, and has not responded to PM's or Venmo requests that I have sent. If things are resolved, I will update the thread asap.

This dude just scammed me for 230 on Cashapp. i sent money first and now he has ghosted me (EVERYONE BE AWARE) he has blocked me via cashapp as well.

Grand this guy just scammed me for 230 can you please see if you can find his real venmo name? i want to contact people he knows and put him on blast. i am also trying to find his real name of zelle - IF ANYONE has traded with him via Zelle please see if you can find his real Phone or Real name so that i can report him to zelle fraud . i have already reached out to cashapp they are going to try to dispute and reverse the trade as i told them he clearly scammed me on blocked me.

update cash app fraud team just recovered my money- and refunded me but please do not trade with this scammer no matter what story he comes up with .. he literally blocked me and ghosted me on text and cashapp.

I love how he was trying to set minimums and was open to large trades because when I lowered my amount he wasnt too happy and then said hold after I sent money then stopped responding and also blocked me on cashapp he was looking for a bigger fish but settled on small amount as no one wanted acr that day I guess

Glad I stuck to my guns with that guy. He was trying to do 400 with me a few months ago. I refused to send first and he was very pushy and defensive. Claimed he did 400 trades on 2p2 since covid hit, then when I did my research, there were barely any and I called him out on his bullshit. Then he replies telling me that doesn't my stupid ass know that you can trade money without posting LOL

Just another lesson, go with your gut on these things.

I think we all should also check sharkscope to see if they really have bink something or not or atleast the stakes they play because this dude didn't play since May and suddenly had 2k to trade so it's kinda sus.

Updating this trade...Jay LoKko has made good on his end, as he just sent me Venmo back to square the debt. From the sounds of it, he had a really bad run with Covid and just bounced back.

2 days before the weekend I was suppossed to send the money I contracted Covid, and everything after that got messy, being in the hospital, not being able to work and a lot of other personal stuff that I'm dont feel comfortable posting on a public forum. I had a impeccable record of transfers, and I've never tried to scam anyone.

Is it still the case that all transfers need to take place in the transfer thread or not? I don't play online anymore so it's irrelevant to me, but it seems like the general marketplace is just allowing anyone to transfer right now, even on platforms that scream out "i'm a scammer"

serious question, i know the new owners were at least thinking about opening up what could/couldn't be done in terms of trading until they were told basically universally that it would be a terrible idea. would be nice to know what the actual rules are now so i don't waste my time trying to prevent people from getting scammed. worst comes to worst it adds one more troll to the ignore list
