I have dealt with royhobbs62 before but had him send first every time so I can't really say much about him but I can text dalsue now and find out if he has more info on him maybe a phone number or skype because I know he deals with him also. Did you guys just deal through 2+2?

That's going to be crazy if he rolled you. Cause a lot of people have been saying that he is full scam

Its a long story, pretty much i sent him $105 True this morning for $100 vanilla, but he says he can't do it for a couple of hours after receiving my funds....


So he sent back the $105 True back to me...LOL (pretty sure he used the $105 to make some money and then send back to me an hour later)


Then he says he would trade $500 True for Vanilla and Amazon but i backed out because i have never traded with him before so i wasn't going to ship him $500 just like that so i sent him $250 True for $240 vanilla

He told me 1 hour... 1 hour has passed i say whats going on he says the store is closed.... LOL and idk i can copy all PMs and such cuz this is a ****ing joke. lol


He says he sent back the funds but nothing yet .....

Okay just spoke with True Poker and security confirmed that there is NO TRANSFERS PENDING from his account to mine as of RIGHT NOW. That means he lied to me saying that he transfered $250 True back to me a couple of hours ago....



And security is able to confirm that HE DOES have $250 True in his account right now, but he hasn't iniatiated a transfer to me....fml



True Support promised me that they will look into his account and pretty much FLAG IT and so i might be able to get my money back hopefully

He'll probably send it to you when he said but the guy is definitely shady. Dalsue214 has agreed with me that he's shady but he probably won't state it here and idk why.

The guy randomly comes up with oddly high amounts of prepaid reload cards multiple times per day often. I don't think he'll scam anyone under that screenname but I don't see why anyone would ever send first to him, that's a pretty dumb thing to do in my opinion.

Regardless though I think people should know that there's a decently high % chance that his prepaid cards are obtained in an illegitimate way. And whether or not anyone else wants to post it here or not, I'm definitely not the only one who thinks this.

Still haven't heard from him yet. What should I do?

Nothing tilts me more than someone acting like they can send right away and then as soon as you send they make an excuse why they can't send right away. After he said he couldn't send for 3-4 hours you should've ran.

Im not connected with RoyHobbs62 at all, a guy scammed him for 250 i believe ironically enough, and the guy who scammed him happens to be a regular at a casino i am a regular at so i offered to basically shame the guy and tell all the other reg friends i have about it in an effort to have the guy pay up. He wasnt totally sure the guy was scamming him in the beginning so i was trying to reach out to the guy who was scamming RoyHobbs62 in case he just lost contact somehow. He was supposed to send me from his 888 account P0tC0mmitted to my account showerslol

I sent first, he had 2000+ posts, complained about scammers, so I did it. He claims he forgot he didn't have money on 888 and had to deposit, then his account got locked for whatever reason. This is what he sent me from his skype account maertone

Warning when dealing with MontrealIn. Guy is super unreliable.
Sends me private message telling me he has gdmp in response to my post selling $20 ACR. Tells me gdmp will be ready in 20 minutes.
I tell him reliable trader (detdet) I have traded with in past contacted me to do trade but I do prefer the gdmp today (usually I do not ) so Ill contact him and ask him if he cares.
DetDet says no problem so I tell MontrealIn we are good to go. He tells me in between, thanks, code will be ready in 10 minutes.
I pm him back asking why in thread he said he had vanilla card and he told me store didnt have vanilla so he purchased gdmp. Fair enough.
I tell him to send over code and his user name and playing name and if funds are being sent to him or someone else since he wanted BCP originally and he told me he was doing this trade so he could trade the acr for bcp.
Now he is gone for 2 hours.
DetDet traded all his boa to bigbadbabar and I am out of luck.
All he had to do was send me one pm explaining and he avoids this post.

If you have no intention of paying him what he was scammed which was only a few hundred, then I don't think a resolution will be in the near future.

I suppose all I can say is that I hope the same is taken from you in some way, shape, or form when you need it the most.

The $$$ amount should not matter though. It's either standard, or its not. It would be ridiculous to say "You owe him if he was scammed for less than X amount of dollars, but you don't owe him if he was scammed for more"

I've been more than willing to cooperate, Royhobbs62 refused to answer questions, he refused to send proof of him trying to contact me in anyway, and now it appears that he has scammed someone.

And also Chrispy21er just randomly shows up wanting to deposit only with gdmp/vanilla last night at 2am (hasn't posted since September), which is very soon after royhobbs got banned, and says he's done "many high amount trades" and his post history has 1 single trade he did in which the amount isn't posted. Pretty shady.

I'm not accusing him of anything, all I'm saying is that seems sort of odd. Maybe he deals all the time only through PM and never posts, but regardless...there shouldn't be any way that anyone still thinks Royhobbs and all those other random SNs are completely different people who don't know each other.

i may have also been scammed by royhobbs62 but my question is you have yet to post any way of getting in touch with you so you can prove you are the actual william bradbury, post a facebook link or post yous skype name etc would probably help out a lot

Fwiw I have DMd him on Twitter and his Twitter seems to be the real William Bradbury. He has posted live tournament buy-in receipts from 2013 on his Twitter, way before any of this came up.

Edit: and that twitter acct is LeeBBury and as soon as I DMd him this morning telling him Roy Hobbs scammed someone he came in here and started posting so I'm about 99.9% sure the person posting on that acct is also @LeeBBury on Twitter.
