None of us knew this when we started. I was very critical of it once, until I tried it about 2 years ago. I have been playing internet poker, making money, and cashing out, so that is good enough for me.
Download a free Bitcoin wallet. I recommend
Multibit or
Electrum.
Create an account on
SwCPoker.eu
It is easy. All you need is an email address.
You can play freerolls if you want, but for real action you need some coin.
There are two realistic ways to get Bitcoin. They both involve purchasing it.
You can find a dealer at LocalBitcoins.com, meet him in a neutral location (with your computer or smart phone with your wallet on it) with WiFi, pay him money, and he will transfer Bitcoin to your wallet. private and quick. reversible when you sell.
You can create an account on Circle.com provide bank account info to them and authorize payment for a Bitcoin purchase. convenient. reversible when you sell.
After you have Bitcoin in your wallet, transfer it to your account at SwCPoker.eu
If you buy Bitcoin at Circle.com do not transfer it directly to your poker account. Transfer it to your wallet on your computer first. They do not want to be involved with gambling sites.
Bitcoin is selling for
$255 each (now), but you can buy less than that if you want. One Bitcoin = 1000 chips at SwCPoker which is a lot of action.
There are other places to buy and sell Bitcoin, and other wallets, but those are my recommendations.
If you want to ask more questions, such as how to transfer Bitcoin from your wallet to your poker account, we will be glad to help.
