Ongame has now a 6.67% rake instead of 5% Ongame has now a 6.67% rake instead of 5%

Sorry if it is a repost.

Ongame did change their rake structure lately.

On a 20.10$ pot, there was 1.34$ in rake. So my friend did write to EuroPoker, asking them why he got 6.67% rake instead of 5%.

Here is the answer:
Dear Mr. XYZ,
Thank you for sending us this information. At this moment, the system works as explained in the last email. This link is an old link and it is not updated. We have escalated this issue to our tech department in order to fix this issue and avoid future misunderstandings.
As a compensation gift, you can find a 10 USD ticket on your account.
Should you have any further queries, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Best Regards
Sebastian Campos

Link still say that the rake is 5%.

It's kind of shady to higher the rake from 5% to 6.67% without any notice, without changing their rake structure information on the website...
Most players wont even notice the change.....

I dont know if all limits are affected by this change, as the rake structure isnt updated yet.

But on that particular pot, this was a PLO game with a bigblind of 0.10$.

on the bwin page it states that only NL/PL games up to $0.05/$0.10 are raked with 1 Cent per 15c in the pot.
https://help.bwin.com/general/legal/...n&index=Z#rake

no idea if this is new or up to date though

Higher than $2.00/4.00 Rake = $0.25 per $5.00

Pot/No Limit Rake

$0.25/$0.5 or lower Rake = $0.05 per $1.00

Higher than $0.25/$0.5 Rake = $0.05 per $1.00

Typical. Remove the $1.50 rake cap and increase the rake from 1c/20c to 1c/15c, never inform the customers. Only at Ongame.

Nah, that is normal, pretty much whenever you complain anything money wise you get a few of those.
I see it as an insult. Either compensate me in full or dont. Not to mention those are rather useless to me anyway at least give me CF tenners so I can have some fun for 30 seconds. So whenever I feel they are shorting me for anything or not telling me in advance what they should have told me, I simply withdraw everything.
Then in a week or so I get a mail, "is everything all right", "are you not satisfied with something", etc. Then I tell them exactly what I think, not that I feel like they care.
But at least I feel better about spending couple of Ks of rake somewhere where they actually care about what players think, or at least not change everything for the worst every couple of weeks.
