I personally like this idea, and will make it more of an even competition, and as the to places might be shared it will pay off to play more than the 4 counted tournaments. What do you think?
How many places are getting paid? Is it by default or based on the number of participants? Personally I would set a fix structure for the top 10 or 15, even though you can always use a formula based on the number of participants.

Well played,Sir!

Incidentally you can't say 'Massachusetts' but you can say 'S****horpe'

Someone needs to pay less attention to 'ass'es and more attention to ... well you get the picture.

39,

The payout is based on a number of starting participants - and a percentage is fixed for each finishing position.

For example:
31-40 players: 5 places paid
41-50 players: 6 places paid
51-75 players: 8 places paid

Maybe we could expand on these, to maybe add 2-3-5 on the above numbers? Just so more players get rewarded besides the points. A formula could be used - but I feel that not enough players will take the time to calculate their possible winnings.

And further to your above points - why not make more players get points so that they feel that at least they have a change to appear on the leaderboard, and also have a chance to win?

I would definitely add more ...

21-30 - top 7
31-40 - top 10
41-50 - top 12
51-75 - top 15

The fix Points for each game make it less difficult to manage though.

Played cash - typical online set up hand AA v KK. Funny thing was I knew it was the set up and should and could have got away from the aces. So I played it badly, and I hate playing badly. Unreal flops, so no more cash on there for me. Have to stick to tourneys which means I'll never earn the points to cash out. Wish I hadn't played cash now, but had to give it a go to see how it played, and today was the best day for it. Still have 30 euros left so enough for some sng's when they get going. Not many registered for the omaha tonight.

I thought it was PLO tonight?.....
11-10-2011 , 04:03 PM
No PLO something has gone wrong.

I wouldn't have played if I'd known it was only hold em.
11-10-2011 , 04:06 PM
A couple of people on my table didn't notice til I pointed it out, lol
I wonder if the game had started dealing Badugi would some of them even have noticed

I'm trying to contact live support as well to let them know the issue but nobody there it seems...

EDIT: Getting a response from support now
11-10-2011 , 04:10 PM
As someone pointed out - it's 2 card omaha.
11-10-2011 , 04:13 PM
Response from support:

"Ola: I´m afraid the tournament was set up incorrectly and was set up as Texas PL and not PLO, we will however not cancel it and let it be Texas PL.
You: cool
You: will the points still count towards the promotion do you know?
Ola: We apologies for any inconvenience
Ola: Yes it will"
11-10-2011 , 04:18 PM
Thanks for the info Aces.
11-10-2011 , 04:23 PM
Ahah - now they're cancelling and setting up a new tournament!

Actually I think if they can do it, that would be the best option.
11-10-2011 , 04:26 PM

Yeah, seems like the best option I think

EDIT: I think there was a guy knocked out, I wonder will he even realise that it's going to be restarted?

So, the deal is rigged against you?

Nah, I never said that. I also wont be saying anything further on the subject.

I like the tourneys as they are well structured, but Sure Bet is by far my favourite for cash. Just hope to hear of someone being able to cash out.
11-10-2011 , 04:32 PM
New tourney is up squirrel, starts in 10 mins
11-10-2011 , 04:33 PM
Hi everyone,

Sorry about this mistake!!

A new correct PLO tournament has been created, and you may register to this one instead.

Best regards,
11-10-2011 , 04:35 PM
Yayy looks like we're back. My guess is they've refunded those who have been knocked out and don't know it's been rescheduled, and the PLO tourney will take place for those still there.

Edit - Oops sorry posted this after the above post but before I saw it.

Another edit - a very good decision, and also well organised. Head and shoulders above some more well known sites who shall be nameless.

Opps sorry posted this after the above post but before I saw it.

You got it the Squirrel, they are being compensated as we speak.

Best of luck to you!

I'm pretty happen anyway, made a mess of the last one, 3 betting with tens and then having to fold a Monochrome AKJ flop when it was bet and raised around to me.

A quick reschedule. Fantastic communication from the staff. They checked in on our tables to see if everything was running okay. Have to say top class all round.

How did you do Aces? Better than me for sure. I shall check the ol' score board to see how you are doing. GL mate.

Finished about 14 from err about 13 players but got em in ahead with nut straight as I always do in omaha. Flop 4 6 8 and I have 57 with heart flush draw in case someone wants to chase a higher straight, which means they have fewer outs than they think they have. I bet the hell out of it and get nearly all my chips in on the flop, but the higher non flush str8 hits.

A few hands later my last few hundred go all in and I hit two pair on the flop which means my opponent (the one who a few hands earlier had hit the higher str8) has to hit the str8 on the river. No probs! Think it was runner runner but wasn't paying much attention as I was so sure I'd lose I was already out the chair. LOL!

A complete and utter waste of time, but sometimes you just have to be completely irresponsible and do something rubbishy but enjoyable.

Finished 3rd after, although I did run hotter than Usain Bolt on hot coals.

It looked like whoever won from the heads up battle was probably going to finish in first on the leaderboard.
