Hi, I emailed ftp about 5 weeks ago asking if they would offer me rakeback in return for me playing full time on their site again. I explained that I play high volume and that I would only move back to ftp if I was offered rakeback, as I can get RB on a european site. They replied saying that I was been added to a list and to be patient while they got back to me.
I just noticed this thread now and I assume that most people here are in a similar position. So, how long does it take for them to actually tell you whether or not they will give you rake back? I never signed up with an affiliate when I opened my account. Am I getting my hopes up here waiting for a response?

I play a pretty high volume and generate a good bit of rake, so I said I'd chance emailing them and just see what they say.
They replied to me saying that I am being considered for rakeback and to sit tight while they get back to me. They also mentioned that they are currently working on an alternative of some sort to offer players that do not have rakeback that want to play on the site. I assume this will be something like stars loyalty rewards system. Anyway, I am just wondering has anybody here been successful, or know somebody who was successful with their personal request for rakeback with ftp. Or, are they just "considering" everybody who writes to them with such a request?
Did FTP say anything about already being linked to an affiliate???

So emailed FTP about getting rakeback through rakebackpros. I do not believe I used any affiliate when I signed up... These are the emails I got from them.

Thanks for contacting Full Tilt Poker Support.

You?ve asked about the possibility of receiving rakeback but at this
time, Full Tilt Poker does not offer rakeback directly to players.

There are a number of affiliate companies which offer rakeback if
players sign up to Full Tilt Poker through their website. However,
it appears that you were referred to Full Tilt Poker from an
affiliate which does not offer rakeback. We are unable to switch
your account from this affiliate to another, as our agreement with
affiliates prohibits this.

We understand that you are interested in such promotions in the
future and if the situation changes, our players will be the first
to know and we will contact you when we have more news.

Regards,

Zbigniew

• I then asked them to tell me what affiliate I signed up through.

Thanks for contacting us.

Currently Full Tilt does not offer rakeback, but there are a number of affiliates who offer players rakeback if you sign up to Full Tilt Poker through their site.

We constantly review our position and we offer promotions with players on an on going bases who are not already linked with an affiliate, as our agreement with affiliates prohibits this.

Now you have contacted us, we understand that you are interested in such promotions in the future. If the situation changes, our players will be the first to know and we will contact you when we have more news.

Then you will get your rake after some waiting.

If you had been affiliated, no personal request would work.

I personally now moved to another poker room due to lack of rake on FTP, but play on FTP now and then, because It's a great room. My wife have a player money account on Tilt. That is it for now.

I am not angry or whatever on FTP, they have some rules, and last letter from their support was nice. What hurts me is that I never got a bonus from the site which affiliated me to FTP, and I can't get my rake as well. It just feels very unfair.

This is the reply I received today from ftp support. So, how long do you think it will take if they are going to offer me RB? I mean, as a general guide, could it be a few weeks, months, or even a year from now?

Hello xxxxx,

Thank you for your response.

We have added your username to our files for further consideration. Please note that our partnership with the affiliate Rakebackpros is in the testing phase, and a test group of players have been selected to participate.

If the partnership continues and you are selected to receive rakeback from the affiliate you will receive a confirmation email from Full Tilt Poker.

If there's anything else we can help you with, please don't hesitate to ask.

Best of luck on the tables!

Regards,

xxxxxx

Took me about 3 months. I played daily, and still do.

Amount of play/ rake generated may influence how fast they accept you.

I really don't think it does. Because when I requested rakeback (late 2008) I hadn't played regularly on FTP since mid 2006. I continued not playing there until they gave me rakeback at the beginning of April.

Based on the various posters talking about playing a lot, playing a little, or not playing at all, I think amount of play has pretty much nothing to do with whether you get selected.

I just wanted to stop in and say I'm one of the lucky people that received rb on April 4. I sent the original email February 2.

I also received rakeback in my existing FullTilt account a few weeks ago. Took about 2 months and I was playing almost every day so I definitely think that influences who gets selected. If you request rakeback and have never made IronMan or don't play often I doubt they will consider you. People who play often or used to play a lot but have quit will be more likely to get the offer.

lol noob.
Your account is not registered to receive rakeback from us because you already had a FullTilt account before you signed up with rakebackpros.
Full Tilt Poker is trying to accommodate players who have previously been unable to receive rakeback. Currently they are testing a small amount of players with us and hopefully we will be able to handle more rakeback requests in the coming months. I will send your player ID to FullTilt to see if you can be considered to receive rakeback from us. If we are able to offer more players rakeback then the next step will be to wait until you get an email from Full Tilt Poker with instructions on how to receive rakeback from us.

Does anyone know how much of your sign up bonus is deducted from rakeback?

If you have had trouble with FTP's affiliate program or trouble with getting rakeback from them, please visit petitiononline.com and sign the "Full Tilt Affiliate Policies Need to Change" petition asking Full Tilt to review it's affiliate policies.

Sign with your real name or your player id. Then, send an email out to everyone you know that plays on Full Tilt asking them to sign this petition as well. The more signatures we have, the more likely they are to change their policies.

We believe that affiliates provide a valuable service to both players and the site, but that the terms of a player's contract with his or her affiliate need to be reviewed.

One more important thing, if you have pulled your money off the site because of this issue, please indicate so in the comments section because money often talks louder than words. Here's the link again...http://www.petitiononline.com/ftpaff/petition.html Now go sign!

When you earn a $20 payment from your deposit bonus, it takes $20 out of your "revenue". Your rakeback is figured based on 27% of your revenue. So the $20 bonus reduces your rakeback by $5.40. That's a pretty sweet deal.

I received this email from FTP today. It does not sound as promising as the "you have been added to the RBP list" emails. Any clue what this means?

Hello ________,
Thank you for contacting Full Tilt Poker. Full Tilt does not pay players rakeback directly. There are a number of rakeback affiliates who offer players up to 27% rakeback if they sign up to Full Tilt Poker through their site.

Please note that this is not an issue which can be solved by opening another account with Full Tilt Poker, it is against our site policy to open more than one account. Though you could cease using your account, we do not remove it from our system, nor do we freeze accounts in order for players to create new ones.

However, we do value your continued support of Full Tilt Poker, and we are currently looking into organizing something that will help players who are not already attached to an affiliate. We have added your username to our files for further consideration. Please be patient.

If there's anything else we can help you with, please don't hesitate to ask. Best of luck on the tables!

Kind Regards

Also, I emailed RBP on Monday but haven't received any response. What gives?

You got the same email back from FTP as me. I guess it means they've added you to some list. When I signed up for RBP on their website i got a vague email. When I emailed them and asked if I was signed up they told me they I was on the list. So I think you should get that email soon and you've done all u can.

Thanks. If I don't hear back from RBP in the next few days, I'll pester them again, but other than that, I guess I just keep my fingers crossed.

i already went through that rakeback BS. I got that email from full tilt, i signed up with RBP and asked them to put me on the list with FT. I pulled the measly amount of money i had on the site off there. i waited about 4 months and nothing so one day i unsubscribed to their newsletter i was still getting to my email and within a few days they emailed me and offered me rakeback. If theyll do it for me theyll do it for anyone seriously im a peon grinder. ever so small. ohp.... im gone.

OK a few quick questions. Sorry if these have been asked before. This is a looong thread.

1. I got a $500 bonus offer shortly before they offered me rakeback through rakebackpros. I assume I should try to clear the bonus before signing up for rakeback?
2. If so, can I sign up right after clearing the bonus or should I wait say until the 1st of the next month?
3. Does the rakeback offer ever expire?
4. Should I spend my points before signing up for rakeback?

Thanks.

Thanks for the reply WW. Full tilt released the first $10 but rackback pros only deducted $7. Also they did it in 2 steps. They deducted $2 and then $5. Was wondering if they only hit you for 70%?

ok...stupid question...this is a looooong thread, so i apologize if the answer was already in there..

I have the existing FTP account problem. Emailed both FT and RBP with standard replies. I am a low-volume player.

What is to stop me from signing up using my wife's information (with her consent, of course) ? Wouldn't that be an easy way to just get a 2nd account?
