Heres the thing. Its all about absolute hand strength. HUD cannot keep up. You have zero reads. If you make a read (like I called a striaght and won on a four flush board, that guy is gone and there is no time to take a note, which you have to put in FTP notes cause again, HUD cannot keep up, all my notes on thousands of makrals are now useless).



Its more like video poker in my view than normal poker. No reads, no table dynamic. Furthremore, playing you get into gambling mode. I am susecptable to this as I suppose many, but not all players are. You are clicking away getting that mental stimulation that is akin to slots. You Can take your time, but will you?



I dont like it for these reasons. Moreover, I am concerned that this is exactly where the fish will go. To the rush tables to gamble it up, leaving a bunch of regs to fight and grind it out at the normal tables.



Rake and blinds. Supposedly the players who have not paid blinds recently are more likely to end up in the blinds upon talbe assignment. It seems to work ok. Things go so fast though, it seems you pay more rake (you do see more hands, but again, what kind of hands ? a bunch of hands that have to be played on absolute hand strength and position only).



All in all my initital impression is this is more gambling and less skill based than a normal ring game. Which is of course the last thing online poker needs atm. FML maybe Im going back to stars.

So glad i put money on tilt for Christmas. This is a pretty good lil thing imo, kinda like a super turbo multitable cash game.
I wanted to just test it out and like 4 hours later i'm finally jest getting off the table seeing 2+2 with a ton of post. I tried to "multitable" the rush games and found it to be pretty sick.

I think I have a good strat for this thing but I don't really play much hold'em nowadays. Went up like 4 buy ins down 2 up 8 decided to play a nit and overbet the nizlutz and it looks to be working a ton.

Since i multitable cash w/o a hud anyway I dont really see any difference with the exception of the increased hands/hr and people who do not know how to fold.

This would be novel on a h4h basis in a MTT, but as I said in another thread, this will be the mortgage backed securities of the Full Tilt economy.
