I agree that the BB should be randomized. It would be no different than a forced bring in at stud in terms of fairness.

I just played like 30 mins of this and it's really not that big of a deal.

btw, they have 6 max also.

This is basically multitabling. I agree with most concerns from players, but I don't agree with the people saying this is bad for reads etc etc Finally players that don't play with software have a place to play, that's even.

You guys decide what is more profitable for you. If the fish flock this game, well guess you're gonna have to learn how to play. If they don't, then no big deal. IMO this game is gonna attract ppl who haven't multitabled. The long term affects of this game and it's speed could be a problem though, I would have rather had FTP just offer some incentive to play multitables or something. Ppl may not want to go back to "regular" poker after this.

EDIT: The more I think about this, this is not revolutionary, and is just plain bad. That said I do like the idea of not being able to use huds, but this is def gonna split the player base and bring down winrates.

If I understand correctly, you're more likely to pay the big blind if it's been longer since you last paid it.

And everyone is nitting it up. But to beat nits, you gotta play looser. But if you loosen up, the average time/hand goes up.

So if you play looser, you're paying more big blinds?

haha, imo people bluff a ton here. they may not play that many marginal hands but when they play they wanna win the pot.

it seems like rush poker is making people forget they still have to post blinds

they mean the amount of hands you have played without posting the blind, not the time you have taken to play them.

Two things spring to mind.

First that playing tight will be easier, and it's more important to have a good basic strategy.

Second, since people don't have any reads every hand becomes an hit-n-run opportunity so LAG might be pretty effective as people might think you are tighter than you actually are.

i was trying to fold as fast as possible but i could only get in 11 hands between bbs and so i don't think it made as much difference as i thought it would

mind you i had animation on

thing i don't like is you can't quick fold in bb so its not as easy as i thought to steal in lp

If its time between bbs and not hands thats the most ******ed thing ever. So much so that 4 tabling may not even be beatable.

I like it. It give me a chance to get the max out of my morning timeslot before work. Would I play it all the time? Not so much. But if i'm on a computer w/o a HUD or i'm looking to get my 50 points to keep my Ironman status this is perfect because I can do it in a half hour.


But if i'm sitting down for an hour or longer session, then yes i'll open up my std 6-8 tables and get some reads.

If FT could find a way that we would be able to put some color coated labels on people in these games that would be awsome.


Quick thought, but how bout some interface with the playerpool to the right (perhaps a drag down bar) where we could at least give them a color and a couple of notes. Granted its not going to help if we weren't involved in the hand, but we would get something out of it if we went to SD with them or they folded.

Something where u type in 1st three letters and it lets you tag them w/ a color.

Anyone else thinks this would help the "readless" problem that I see with these games?

I think there is a big random factor on posting the big blind still. I'm just playing some playmoney and I have posted the big blind only once in 30 hands.

I know it's not picking up opp. stats
but is it registering in PT or HEM; how many hands you have played, BB/100 etc. So you can look it how you did after your sessions?

Yes, PT3 is.

Seems to be picking up all stats. The HUD just isn't fast enough to keep up with the constantly changing players.

Don't know if it has been mentioned yet, but you can very easily rathole, it doesn't force you to buy in deep if you sit out and open the table again.

my pt3 doesn't seem to be importing these stats, maybe since i dont play cash my version forgot how to track cash hands?

There is absolutely 0% chance that blinds are working as they say they are "person who has gone the longest without posting" which is my only concern. I played 27 hands and posted 5 BB's and 4 SB's.
