Private message CP Atil and he will help you get money onto Carbon, or give you options.

I talked to them and they said I could other methods, but I already loaded my card up. Oh well, I will just get it on another site for now.

Ok, or you could trade someone netspend for Carbon. netspend has a p2p transfer function. Or even just withdraw at an atm then use those funds to deposit another way. Or buy a WU/MG with your netspend (if carbon accepts WU/MG?)

I find it very starnge that ur netspend doesn't work on Carbon. It works on every site that accepts visa for deposit for ever now, without there ever being a problem.

Just to be sure, are you sure you tried to deposit correctly? Did you make sure to deposit 1-2 dollars less then you have on the card? This is most important.

Yes, I have used it at Cake and Bodog with no problems. Right after I tried on Players Only and it was declined a few times, I deposited to Bodog again without a problem. The CSR said that they use an international processor, but I have used it at other sites, which I assume use international processors as well.

If I do a transfer, then I can't receive the deposit bonus. I think I will play a while more on Bodog and then do the Western Union option that Players Only suggested, as long as the fee isn't too high.

Mine goes through fine, but I'm not in the US.

Hello. I am new to the forums and new to online poker. I have a NetSpend PrePaid account, and along with that comes an account number and a routing number which I use for direct deposit at work. Has anyone tried to use your account/routing numbers on Stars for an eCheck? Does it work? How about Full Tilt? Thanks in advance for the help, and I look forward to interacting with all of you on the forums.

No it doesn't work. That account is set up for deposits only, it doesn't allow withdrawals via bank wire or echeck. No prepaid card does.

You can use it for bank transfer withdrawals I do know. I have no clue on the deposit part, but it may be worth a try. If it works let the forum know.

Just tried to use it as a deposit method with eChecks, it doesn't work. I'm trying to figure out a way to use the eCheck system without using an actual bank account, although I'm sure this has been tried millions of times.

there is no reason to not use a bank account.

I guess the best word to describe it would be that I am just uninformed about the UIEGA. I am wary about depositing or cashing out online, and would like to ensure I won't have any issues.

Andrew, most banks have been compliant for a while now. I doubt too much is going to change on June 1st that has not already changed. Most people in the legislation forum seem to think the same way. I could be wrong, of course, but right now I'm not too worried.

I recommend using one checking account for life, and another for poker. That way you're completely adverse to financial risk. You have absolutely nothing to worry about imo.

Never use a netspend card to deposit via echecks. Not only will it not work, but there is no reason to because you can deposit via the visa on it. You also had to give your name and SS# for the netspend, so this is no different then using your bank. In fact, it's for the under banked population, IE: those who can't get bank accounts.

Please be responsible and think about things you say in an open public forum as well. I'm sure you can figure anything out with out asking the world. If the card has any functionality now, the risk of it not in the near future goes up and up the more it is exposed. I asked that your thread be moved to this main one in the hopes that you will read this thread, as it contains much information.

Thank you all for your quick responses. I didn't mean to offend or hurt anyone in any way, and if I did I apologize. Thanks for the help. I am going to open a separate checking account up at a different bank so I don't have to worry.

Really? Pretty sure it's named in this thread and linked at least 50 times. Here's a personal one just for you though.

www.allaccessgift.com for 25 to 100 one time use. www.netspend.com for a reuseable, reloadable card for anywhere from 5 to 10k

I've moved back to the US from Belgium, and haven't tried to deposit anywhere since being back in America, just used player-player transfer. Now I'm trying to deposit on fulltilt but it keeps saying my visa has been declined, without too much explanation, I've e-mailed FT support, but no reply yet. Any ideas on what I should do/what could be wrong?

Most likely a bank block- use the cards listed above or an echeck.

is wells fargo blocked on that?

My post got moved to this thread, even though it wasn't a prepaid visa, just a regular one.

Can i just buy a prepaid gift visa from a gas station and would any one there work? I'm not sure if you can buy the netspend/allaccessgift from gas stations.

Most all major banks block the cards in the US.

No, you cannot use cards from gas stations.

netspend dot com for a location near you to buy the cards- they are the only ones that work consitantly- the other ones are pretty much useless.

Echecks are fine if you have a checking account- they work great.

Tons of people use echecks with no problems.
