I have a debit visa in the US. Ftp declines it everytime. Lately they dont even want echecks. I dont wanna use third party companies because they charge. What should i do?
PS: I never have a echeck problems at Pokerstars.

Just deposited via the netspend all access mastercard gift card on PS...bought it at a currency exchange in which they charged $4.95 for the card itself...this was not a reloadable card...

ALSO, I tried the virtual visa card from giftcards.com and it was a no go...

Should I try to get the MasterCard All Access card or is that probably getting denied too?
She probably didn't load/activate this card correctly. Check and make sure there is a balance.

Also, if it's a re loadable, make sure you deposit 1-$2 less then the amount you have on the card because there is a transaction fee.

It's really pretty simple everyone, either www.netspend.com or www.allaccessgift.com

Those two have always worked

I have a netspend visa. The cashier receipt said it was loaded with $200 and so did netspend.com, so it was definitely done right. Last time I had a one-time card and I spent the whole balance on Stars. I wasn't aware that there was a transaction fee, maybe that was the problem since I was trying to unload the whole balance again onto Full Tilt. I'll try doing it for a couple dollars less and see if that works.

Yea, for the pre paid disposable ones (the allaccess gift cards) there is no fee and you can unload the balance. For the re loadable ones there is, I think, a dollar fee for every transaction. I think it's a dollar but I'm not 100% positive because I just pay the 9.95 a month to have unlimited use of the card with no transaction fees. Oh, also want to mention that it cost $2 to load, so if you loaded $200 your balance would be $198. I think the reason it didn't work was because of the transaction fee though, rather then the latter. Let us know after you try it for $2 less

Oh, and when I said this

I was responding to the other posters, and their attempts with other cards, not you because you have a visa netspend
good luck

Netspend wanted to charge me $1 for the transaction, so that was the issue. Thanks for the clarification on the fee.

I just purchased an "All Access card" , they seem to
come in different flavors. What I mean is, the first place I
went to only had 25$ cards, I thought I could load any
amount up to 250$ based on my reading here before I
signed up. I was also not allowed to use my CC for this.
Cash only. I went to another place that sold them in higher
domination.

Afterward, I went to their website to register the card.
Once that was complete, I deposited on PS. And it was
approved instantly, the whole process took less than 5 minutes.

Also, look at the back of the card, it says the issuing
bank is :Inter National Bank. Something I noticed
when looking for this card is most cards tell you on the
back(in very small lettering) US use only, not to be used
outside the US. I'm pretty sure you guys can guess why.
It's amazing how difficult this process is becoming/has become.
But the work around maybe to find a card that is issued
by a bank outside the US.

Well, my that's my .02.

If you go to ace cash express (if theres one near you) they will sell you a gift card for any amount you want (no fixed denomonations just tell them how much you want). I think up to 500. But yeah if you buy an aa gc at most places they come in preset denominations of 25 50 and 100

cash only is standard.

too bad you didn't want to put 1/10th of the effort into getting a prepaid card that would work instead of scamming someone.

I've gone to a dozen gas stations, and a loan shop. One gas station has non-reload-able 100$ visa all access cards. The other has a reload-able, but they didn't know how to ring up the card (i went here 3 times and all 3 times they said the manager just stepped out). The loan shop HAS IT!! but they want my social security number, which I don't think I should give to this place.

Either I'm looking for a reload-able card where you don't give your Social Security number. Or a $250 visa non-reload-able. I'm thinking about just buying 7 $100 cards and paying the 35$ fee needed for each card. (but my first deposit bonus has to be like 200$ at least)

Maybe I should just call every gas station in a 50 mile radius until they have a $250 limit card.

Use the search button. This has been discussed a ton in some thread in this forum.

Huh? I think that answer is clear (see the posts above).....

One thing I haven't seen yet is can you withdraw back to these cards? Someone mentioned to treat these guys like a bank but do any poker sites credit back to allaccess or netspend cards?

It looks like he just started his own thread and his thread was moved here, that's why he's unaware of the posts above him (at least at the moment)

Americans can not withdraw money back to a credit/debit card.

any reloadable card youre going to have to give your social security number. its netspend that requires it, not the store.

if it makes you feel better, you can just order the reloadable card off the website (but you still need your ssn)

as i noted before, ace cash express will sell non-reloadable ones up to 500 bucks.

You want to deposit on a poker site?
1) Netspend Visa Reloadable card.
2) You can go to their website and find a location.
3) You WILL need to provide your SS# and for every reload you will be charged around $2-$4. Netspend will also take $1 for every transaction.
4) When you're ready to deposit on the poker site, deposit a bit less than the dollar amount you loaded on the card(due to the fees) so that the deposit is accepted.

Please, please, please can we get a sticky on this in the Zoo(and the beginners forum)? Think about it. Someone's looking to deposit on a poker site but their credit card won't work. Looking for an alternative method they stumble upon the largest poker forum in the world. Are they going to dig through every thread trying to find an answer? Maybe. But a sticky sure would make it easier.

So let me just get this straight, both Netspend Discover Card and All Access Visa both will require your Social Security Number during activation?
04-30-2010 , 05:48 PM
I used it today to load funds on Cakepoker for the first time, worked great for me.
04-30-2010 , 05:51 PM
Get one with your name on it, the temporary ones are just that temporary, i have one with my name on it.

I'm pretty sure you only have to provide your SSN if it's reloadable. I've picked up a few all access visas and mastercards non-reloadables and never had to give a ssn. Of course none of them worked on FTP but worked fine on cake and stars.
05-03-2010 , 09:36 PM
Any card requiring you SSN is NOT an alternative

My netspend isn't working on Players Only (Merge). I have used it on Bodog and Cake before. Any suggestions?
