just picked up a Visa Gift Card (from IDT it looks like), at Walgreens...was $5.95 card charge for $100. Loaded it onto Stars w/o any issues...The packaging is yellow, and says "one card. All of your favorite places." on it...and has a small IDT logo in the bottom left. I took a picture with my camera, but cant seem to find a cord to show what it looks like.

Does anyone know when they are going to bring back the Virtual Prepaid Visa? Have they already? Thanks in advance.

I said this in another thread but this reloadable visa is probably the better alternative.

Just like to add to this thread that I am ******ed.

Just bought a $1700 AAPP reloadable Visa card only to find out that 2 of the 3 sites I intended to deposit to (both futurebets) aren't aware of this option and block all USA customers from trying to make ANY CC transactions whatsoever. I hope my email to them helps, otherwise I'll be paying for gas and meals with this damn card for months

The Giftcards.com Virtual Visa option is back. Giftcards.com support claimed that they temporarily removed the product due to being frauded, but now that it has returned, the VV fee is $4.00 up from $2.00, and the max limit is now $250 down from $500. They must have become wise to the influx of online gamers looking for deposit options.

You know, I thought the exact same thing. They knew exactly what they were doing when they lowered the limits and raised the fee. O well, it's better than nothing I guess.

I tried to purchase a virutal visa from giftcards.com and after it processing all yesterday I get an email today saying:
"It has been 14 days since you purchased the $ GiftCards.com™ VirtualGift Account for and it has not yet been activated. Our policy is to cancel the order and refund the full purchase price of the VirtualGift Account to the original purchasing credit card if it remains unclaimed by the recipient after 14 days. Email reminders were sent to to encourage retrieval of the gift, but it was never claimed."

Obviously it has not been 14 days, and I have seen others post this same problem, so I have no idea how good this option really is.

do these work on FT?
03-25-2007 , 09:58 PM
Quote:

PS - www.giftcards.com works
AP - www.giftcards.com works
FT - www.giftcards.com works
UB - not sure

Now, I'm interested in if there are any other VIRTUAL (no waiting for a physical card to arrive) cards that work at these or other sites.

Anyone?
But giftcards.com currently says this

Quote:

23. Can the gift card be used for online gambling?
No, The VirtualGift and the Standard Gift Card cannot be used for online gambling, the transaction will be declined.

What is the latest update on how to deposit on Pokerstars?

Should I use the GreenDota Visa/Mastercard from Walgreens? hefty $10 charge to get it at first, and $5 reloads.. but i'm ok with that.

When you withdraw, does it goto the card?

I just wanted to let everyone here know that WWW-Card is really easy and works on Pokerstars (Haven't tried any other sites). You pay via a debit/credit card, and you have your virtual card # instantly, and it tells you that you can use it in 10 minutes. If you try to use it before 10 minutes on Stars, you get denied, but if you wait 10 mins, its approved.

The max you can load is like 200-300. You can do more than one. I think its like 2 every 24 hours or something. There is a fixed fee of $2.75 each.
They also accept giftcards.com prepaid visas (for those of you who bought them but then got screwed because they no longer allow gambling transactions.)

I've used them ~4 times, very fast and easy:

(No, this isn't spam, and no, I do not work for them, nor am I an affiliate, just helping everyone out here).

what about the 3% fee for gaming sites.

"Gaming sites - 3% of the transaction amount."

so say you load the card with $100
then you pay a $2.75 fee to do it, and how does the 3% fee get cahrged ?

You have to subtract the 2.75 from what you're loading. To load $100 I paid $97. I never had to pay the 3% fee at Stars. The full $97 was deposited.

OK.. I got a Visa Gift Card.

The card has one number on it.

The receipt I got from walgreens has another number on it that is different.

use the number on the card.

Also quitting poker is a better way to go.
