They have five processors that I'm aware of and only having problems with one. Why do you think they would lie to their customers?

Edit: Well, five banks. I think this processor is used for two or three of them, so probably 3 processors that I'm aware of.

Hey guys since the government shut down this processor then why do you insist on hiding the processor name? They already know about it plus even if they dont it wont be used again so there is no harm in posting the processor name.

In the unlikely event that it isn't UIGEA related. Plus, it sets a precedent of naming processors in which people start naming valid ones.

I'm not saying that they're maliciously lying, I'm saying there's a possibility that they're just trying to calm the nerves of their players when really there's a chance that bad checks are still being issued.

They would never send out this email:

"Dear ____,

There's a good chance the check that you receive will bounce, but we're not certain.

Regards,

Support"

I think there are some problems with AP/UB checks, haven't heard anything on Bodog. I deposited a Bodog check yesterday, I'm not too worried about it.

Good job mods for changing the title of this thread. We needed an "official" thread for this situation.

the processor either
-got shut down by the governemnt
-went out of business

it is no longer a functioning processor so there is no reason to hide its name. if the govt wanted the name of the processor and they monitored this forum all they would have to do is create an account and say "please pm the name of the processor so i know whether to cash my ftp check or not" and then 20 people will send them the info that they want.

Stop trolling a thread that many people are hangin following word for word as it affect most of the community.

Do not name processors, it doesn't serve anyone any good.

How far back does this stem? I deposited a check before leaving for Vegas and wrote checks to pay bills for this next month. If that check bounces I will be totally F'd and prob won't know it until I return home since the bank won't be able to really contact me until then. So in other words when was the first known check bounced? Hope I am not a wanted criminal for something I didn't even realize.
Thanks.

I deposited my check on June 1st and it bounced. I think anytime before that is ok.

This isn't necessarily the work of the government. More likely the bank found out they were processing online gambling and closed them down on their own.

its not trolling im just stating that hiding the processor is a waste of time. the fact that someone will pm you, a person who just joined and has five posts, the name of the processor proves that the system is flawed.

The point of omitting names is so that this thread does not show up in Google searches for "[processor name]". If this were to happen, it could give the processor an association with "gambling" that could increase pressure on them to cease their business relationships with Stars.
