This IS Different this time. Paper checks and Echecks at the same time? And on both Tilt and Stars at the same time? And apparently Absolute/UB(dont know since I never had the Echeck option on there and dont play there anyway).

I'm So PISSED!! I hope Texas does secede from the US. Maybe they'll allow online poker.

The government lets my 2 decent jobs get outsourced. Then I take a lesser job, then they brought somebody in from another country to do it. Now I cant even find a job that is below the poverty line that would just make ends meet because so many Illegals that are doing it!! Of course by me complaining about all that I am just being a racist, xenophobe.

So now I find something else to make money at: Poker. Well Uncle Sam says Nope!! cant do that either!! Screw these politicians.

.....AND **** YOU BILL FRIST!!

just a few months ago ftp paper and echecks were down and stars echecks all at the same time, and looks like its the same now and that the only thing working is one of stars paper check processors like it was for over a month

edit/Markusgc: please don't name banks or processors.

Thanks.

Let me first say that everything I'm about to say is 100% true and comes from the BEST of sources.

I'm sure many of you are well aware of the current check cashing issues for Stars and FTP players (among others). Checks from their main processor's bank have been coming back rejected, and players funds are being retracted from their accounts.

Anyone who had received a payment in the last few days since these problems started should have been contacted and told to NOT cash their check, as it will likely bounce. This advice SHOULD BE TAKEN SERIOUSLY.

Now without getting into specifics of which processor is having these difficulties, let me just say I'm sure you all know the one. (and if you don't, PM me, I will tell you) They have been delivering top notch service for 3 years now, and have always come through with flying colors. Please people, realize this is a minor hiccup, and plans are under way to solve this mini-crisis.

Please be patient and understanding for the next few days as things get sorted out. Feel free to PM me if you have any questions.

I do this too, but while I haven't tried a PS check recently I think this would probably be even less likely to work than the bank due to the fact that they (or at least the one I use) contact the bank listed on the check every time (who would presumably tell them the account is currently frozen).

Edit to add: Good to know I won't be alone in prison for not paying taxes.

I just got the email. The interesting part is that the check IS from my bank.

I cashed the check 6/1 and it looks like it cleared. Or will it bounce a week later?!?!

Does that mean it bounces itself?

Check from "ABC" bank, written by "ABC bank" deposited at "ABC" bank.

I deposited a check two days ago and it has cleared my account, But very worried that it will bounce when i least expect it to. Called the bank and they said everything looks good , But do i believe them with all these problems with the same processor ? or did i get lucky?

I had this same situation with a personal check from a garage sale. Then, 4 days later, not only did they take the money out, they charged me a $30 fee for DEPOSITING the bad check.

I deposited 4 checks this morning before reading about this. The bank didnt say anything and they appeared to go through. At my bank I have never had to wait for he check to clear, so if the account is frozen why would the check get cleared and then bounce?? 5/19 and 5/27 were from one processor, 5/28 and 5/30 were from another.

Could someone pm me with which processor is having issues??

I don't have any experience with this exact scenario, but when individuals have given me checks they have always deposited fine then bounced a few days later (I'd get a chargeback).

Such bull#&^(

Same problems, told the banker they're from poker, I don't give a ^#&*. Sick of having to cover up what I do. It's perfectly legal to cash out funds from poker sites.

Well I emailed in, it took them about 5 hours to get back to me, which is 4 hours longer than usual. I cashed my check yesterday (Thursday around 4pm PST) and got cash but was dreading a bounce so I emailed Stars to find out about my check. I got this response:

Thank you for your email.

I have reviewed your account and can confirm that the check you received is
not one of the checks affected by this current issue. Therefore the check
will clear as normal.

Please do not hesitate to contact us if you require any further assistance.

Looks like I got an email from the same guy, but with different results. PMing you to compare processors...
