I still have money at PIC Club and want to see if I can use that to fund something. No other poker options except PPN.

that's why i went to ppn in the first place. you can deposit as little as $10. you have 60 days i think to earn deposit bonus. You probably won't earn it all, no matter how small the deposit so leave some in pic club and deposit again after 60 days to get reload bonus. For the most part nobody bothers to start a table but if you do you may get some action.

Do any PPN skins have more players than others or are they shared? Which skin is more reliable with less glitches?

Dear CatchaOnTheRiver:

What is the best time/day to see the most players?
You will see the most players early evening on weekdays, afternoon and early evening on Saturdays and Sunday Evening.

Are tournys shared or detached from each skin?
Tourneys are shared between all skins.

Do any PPN skins have more players than others or are they shared?
Players are mostly disbursed between RR and PPN. Both rooms share the same tables so you can play in RR and play with the PPN players

Which skin is more reliable with less glitches?

We endeavor to fix any glitch. Please report problems to email support

Re: *** Official Poker Pros Network Support and Promotions Thread ***

the main glitch is that you have to keep the tourney window open before the start of the tourney or else it will not take you to the table.

The other glitch u have to look out for is in the Sunday $50 Guarantee. The rebuy/add on button sometimes is not responsive. Check it frequently to make sure it is working and if not close out the game client and return, that usually fixes it. You can get out and back in again pretty fast.

Re: *** Official Poker Pros Network Support and Promotions Thread ***

I'm trying to decide whether to fund my account on ppn.

My question is Maryland even an accepted state because they don't list it as an option when registering. The accepted players thread lists that it's suppose to be. My accounts at bovada, all wpn have all been closed- I don't want to fund PPN and have my account closed again.

Next, why won't the download link for PPN skins work? It leads to a blank page and can't find anywhere else to download them.

Lastly, PPN withdrawal times are less than a week- is this true? If not godsakes, what are other sites that accept Maryland with an acceptable wd time...... ie. not lock poker/juicy stakes. Nothing?

Why is Maryland so crappy, I need to build a bankroll for maryland live! poker in the summer. Is there any way to hack your ip to be in a different state? Its just ridiculous.

PPN is not available in Maryland according to this thread: https://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/28...pdate-1238038/

Re: *** Official Poker Pros Network Support and Promotions Thread ***

Hello is anyone home at PPN? Knock Knock! Yoo Hoo !!!!

TJ where are all the players on PPN?

Where is that new software?

Promises Promise I see once again.

It would appear to me that poker rooms that go to PPN become part of their grave yard.

TJ I have been patient like you asked, what was it 3 or 4 months ago? You said the network was going to be built up, there was going to be players, new software, great promotions and yadda yadda yadda

But what do I see instead nothing at all, no players, no new software, a promotion that is gone and a network that is deader than a rusty old doornail.

What I do see and I find this horrifically bad is that some mrs potato head and IndyJones are doing tournaments and paying bounties with their money.

What I find to be really amazing is that PPNCEO who I have to believe is Chuck Kidd has played in a few of these tournaments.

Chuck what the *uck, aren't you the owner of PPN and Pic Club?

Shouldn't you be running PPN? Oh wait you are, straight into the ground. You have time to play in $2 bounties but can't get your own software fixed, can't promote your network, or get players outside of freerollers to play once a week on YOUR network.

I don't know where your head is, but I have a feeling it's somewhere you know where.

Between you and TJ I don't know which one of you is worse. TJ promised a lot was being done and he hasn't delivered at all with new software, players and promotions.

I am not sure what you promised Chuckles but I would think TJ probably promised what he did based on what you promised him.

I may be way wrong here but I don't think I am.

I know some of the PPN minions will come here and say, you aren't even a member blah blah blah. Well let me ask you freerollers something.

If you weren't a member of the PPN and were told about it, went to the site downloaded it and then found absolutely no players playing for days on end, the only tournaments running were a freeroll once a week and a bounty paid for by a few players.... how many of you would be rushing to deposit $500 on there? How about $200? How about $100? Hell what about $50?

Let's be serious if you answered yes to any amount, you are kidding yourself. Because who are you going to play? If you are a serious player you aren't depositing to play some $2 bounty game.

Speaking of those players in the bounty game, why aren't they sitting on tables trying to start games with 3 or more people?

I've checked for a week straight after waiting a few months to see how things progressed and it appears to be worse not better.

Back to TJ and Chuck.

When are you guys going to get serious about PPN?

I am sure there is money invested and a ton of time, so when is this new software coming out? Where are these promotions?

Heck hire some props, get some real software that works and get a management team that knows how to run a poker network. It is obvious to me and other serious players either you don't give a *uck or don't know how to run a network.

If I hurt your feelings or struck a nerve I won't be sorry, I just hate being promised things and they don't happen. Let's be super honest, there isn't a lot of options in the US for players. Lock has major problems, Merge is dying slowly, Bovada you play against numbers and any other network is small or has pay out issues.

You were to be an alternative but as of now I don't know what you are an alternative to. Paint Drying? Wood Rotting? Fruit Spoiling?

TJ I want answers. Chuck I want answers that is if you can get away from $2 bounty tournaments LMAO.

For once, I pretty much agree with everything toon said. We haven't seen the legions of new players or even enough players to steadfastly start up a few games. I rarely start a table any more because i'm not close enough to having the minimum for withdrawal to worry about clearing promotional winnings, which have becomes scarce because the only promotion is the weekly freeroll.

The only thing likely to get me on the tables for 20 hours a week again is a rake race or something like that. The some oportunity was there but nothing happened. I hope it isn't too late. I don't really mind have a hundred bucks stranded there because i have withdrawn 10 times that much in profits, I just want to put that money to work without having to play mostly heads up.

First off, I apologize for not answering this earlier. After I read the post, I didn't reply and hoped that Chuck or someone from PPN would have directly replied so I didn't have to. I say this because my reply is going to be direct, straight forward and as an eye opening post.

Let me try to answer your questions/points one by one and then I am going to add more commentary. This may be a long read but it will be worth it for you to read it all.

TJ where are all the players on PPN?

That is the question I had from day 1 before Rounders Row joined PPN. We really thought we were going to be able to bring people over to play and then players that have been idle from the other rooms would come out and play. When we brought players over to play, only two other players outside of Rounders Row came to play. They were IndyJones and Ikillbabies. I don't recall seeing any other player outside of Rounders Row and if I did miss you, it will be at best 1 or 2 more.

When people would come to the site they saw nobody playing or they saw a pair of 2/4 cent tables going. Nobody in their right mind and is serious about playing poker is going to register and play with little to no games played. At this point we realized how uphill of a battle it was going to be. I'll touch more on this later.

Where is that new software?

I can't answer this question because I don't know. I can tell you I helped beta test the new software but that was more than 9 months ago. Others helped as well and I have no sense of what is to become of new software if ever.

Promises Promise I see once again.

You are correct. This was done based upon what we were told and the promise of new software amongst other things. As you can tell they haven't materialized. However that isn't the fault of Rounders Row, we have no control of when things get done or if they get done at all. I am not looking to pass the blame here but it really is out of our control.

It would appear to me that poker rooms that go to PPN become part of their grave yard.

Based on prior history and the current landscape, I will agree with this statement. However I will add an addendum to this, that it isn't the fault of Rounders Row that it is this way. More on this later.

I appreciate your patience and I am sorry that you have been disappointed. You are certainly not alone in this feeling. The WSOP promotion was pulled due to lack of players to support it. It made no sense to have a promotion showing just to show one. What good is it, if no one participated in it. It was by far the easiest way to get to the WSOP ME but we overestimated the lack of response due to the lack of players. A good promotion doesn't bring in the players alone and that was certainly evident here.

What I do see and I find this horrifically bad is that some mrs potato head and IndyJones are doing tournaments and paying bounties with their money.

What I find to be really amazing is that PPNCEO who I have to believe is Chuck Kidd has played in a few of these tournaments.

PPNCEO to my knowledge is Chuck. In regards to players putting up their own money to run tournaments is ok. However I agree they shouldn't have to do it to attract people to play. This should be done from a network or a room by room basis. I do applaud their efforts.

Chuck what the *uck, aren't you the owner of PPN and Pic Club?

He is.

Shouldn't you be running PPN? Oh wait you are, straight into the ground. You have time to play in $2 bounties but can't get your own software fixed, can't promote your network, or get players outside of freerollers to play once a week on YOUR network.

I may be way wrong here but I don't think I am.

The only part of this I am going to answer is that I made promises based upon what was told to us. We have no control over the software. Without players, promotions aren't going to happen and vice versa.

I am not a minion nor a freeroller am I still qualified to answer? I assume so, I think I alluded to part of what you are saying in this portion. If you have freeroller and penny ante players, serious players aren't going to come aboard. As someone once told me, if you want to play penny ante find grandma and her kitchen table. You've answered this question yourself no one is going to deposit or be interested with the lack of action and when action was going it wasn't for the serious players.

Back to TJ and Chuck.

When are you guys going to get serious about PPN?

I am sure there is money invested and a ton of time, so when is this new software coming out? Where are these promotions?

Rounders Row was serious about PPN from day one and yes there was a lot of time, effort and money invested. I believe I covered a few times regarding the software/promotions. I am going to touch upon the other part in my commentary.

No feelings hurt or nerves struck here. I have always asked for honest direct feedback from the first day I became part of the poker industry. You are 100% correct on your assessments of the other rooms/networks you mentioned. The alternative comment is what it is. Pick one and it will suit your fancy.

Additional Commentary

Toon84 and others after have made valid points and observations. I can't deny that nor will try to. The software had been down 48 hours, I e-mailed to the appropriate person that it was down. I received no answer. That has been common place for the last several months with the powers that be with PPN.

They have chosen to not reply to our inquiries and it goes without saying that communication is everything. For several months now there hasn't been one reply from anyone at PPN regarding our issues not only with software but reporting issues. Lots and lots of promises made but not fulfilled.

We have made every effort to get this network to the current state of what other poker rooms offer and do for their players.

We met resistance at almost every point. We had to pull teeth and that's being kind to get 2/4 cent NL tables put up. We had to fight to get tournaments added every 15 minutes. We have been told there won't be any more work completed on the current software because time and money doesn't want to be spent on it while working on the new software.

Finally the network has been down for 4 days. I e-mailed to find out what was going on and didn't receive a reply. I don't know anything about a hardware update or what is being done because we weren't told.

This just goes to show the lack of communication PPN has with it's partners and another reason the network is dead and will continue to be so until major issues are resolved internally at PPN.

I am truly sorry that Rounders Row raised an excitement level, we were excited as you and are deeply disappointed today as you are.

I would rather come here and tell the truth than to lie and save face. Zane and I would rather keep our integrity in tact over any amount of money that can be made.

I hope that you as players see that we are genuine and thank you for your support and patience.

Re: *** Official Poker Pros Network Support and Promotions Thread ***

"The WSOP promotion was pulled due to lack of players to support it. It made no sense to have a promotion showing just to show one. What good is it, if no one participated in it. It was by far the easiest way to get to the WSOP ME but we overestimated the lack of response due to the lack of players. A good promotion doesn't bring in the players alone and that was certainly evident here. "

Just one point. you can't expect to runs any kind of a steps promotion with less than 100 interested players. I would have bee happy if you had enough but i for one have no interest in the wsop.

Just because an overly ambitious promotion didn't work doesn't mean other promotions won't work. The rake race was popular last year. It is a promotion that was guaranteed to pay out and that is why it worked. if there was a rake race promotion instead, or as soon as it became obvious that the wsop thing wasn't going to fly, you would have seen several players playing at least a few hours per day and someone sitting a table almost all the time. It may not be instantaneous mega traffic, but it would be a start. has an opportunity been squandered? perhaps, but not entirely.
