So I just sat down and logged in. Signed up for the Sunday $100 Freeroll with no problem.

Then I tried to sign up for the $50 Guaranteed Rebuy/Addon.




The freeroll is the only tournament in which I am currently registered. Have I been cut back because I am a Jerk Job? or just a regular jerk?

I don't seem to be able to unregister from the freeroll either and it gives me the same window.


UPDATE: I shut down the client and logged in again. This time I was able to sign up for the second tournament.

It is true that Maudieee whines everytime she loses a hand, it's all rather humdrum ho hum reactive whining you hear in every freeroll. You topped that with premeditated whining about a minor inconvenience before the freeroll even began. I think i can top you though.... I am so angry that I have to wait until an hour before the freroll to register...I fell asleep and woke up after i would have been blinded out....I DEMAND A REFUND, IN FACT, I DEMAND THE $50 I WOULD HAVE WON, GIVE IT TO ME JERK JOB!!!!!!!!!

My whining was not premeditated. That presumes I was looking for a problem on which to take umbrage. It happened and I couldn't get it to clear up so I did a screen capture and posted it. Then I discovered I could correct it.

My whining was a whining of passion so it is a lesser crime and not capital punishment worthy.

Sorry, you missed that one. Only started with 21 people. I really did get lucky at the final 6. Couldn't bluff Maudieee off a bare Ace high on the river and I was shortstacked. Then I shoved something ugly like 9-5 or 9-3 into an A-10 and flopped a pair that held up. I shoved A-3 into A-9 and we chopped. Then I shoved 4-4 and was called by 2-2. Suddenly I was chip leader. Maudieee was her usual incredulous self and didn't money.

since you had so much fun (even though u will never cash out the money u won), don't u feel silly that you whined about such a minor and temporary inconvenience?

Minor inconveniences are simply a matter of timing.

To use your example, let's say I fell asleep at 5:00 p.m. thinking I will wake up long before the 7:00 p.m. start time of the $100 Freeroll. I wake up at 6:55 p.m. Fire up the PPN client and log in. Sign up for the $50 Guaranteed Rebuy/Add-on, then try to register for the $100 Freeroll. I get the window telling me I am signed up for too many tournaments. So I try to register again. Same thing. I go back to the Rebuy window and try to unregister but I get the window telling me I am signed up for too many tourneys again. I turn off the lobbies for both tourneys and reopen them. Same problem.

Finally, I turn off the PPN client and restart it. Log in. Bring the Rebuy lobby up and unregister successfully. Bring up the Freeroll lobby......

and find the game has started without me. Now it isn't a minor inconvenience.

As to your question, no I don't feel silly pointing out software glitches. If you stop trying to make software bug free you might as well stop asking the public to support you.

As to whether or not I will cash out the money I have, never is a long time. I believe I politely asked you twice above (once, directly), for a recommendation on what games you would play in order to meet my play through requirements with my bankroll. Had you answered me we might have been sitting at a table by now. Instead, I only heard from Gio with a non-answer about how rake has been discussed ad nauseum in earlier postings. I really don't expect a recommendation from him because he is tied to PPN so his allegiance is biased. From you, on the other hand, I fully expected some kind of response, even if it was to suggest games that are more to your liking than mine, as this would give you a chance at my bankroll. Even a polite response saying you couldn't give me a recommendation as you didn't know enough about my preferences would have sufficed.

Now, if you want to keep beating a dead horse, continue with the whining comments if you wish. I probably don't need to remind you that not too long ago your panties were in such a wad that you actually started a whole new thread entitled something to the effect of The Unofficial Poker Pros Network Non-Support and Non-Promotions Thread.

This is a public forum and it works well because so many people post. We don't have to agree to our opinions on all subjects but we do need to let each other offer them.

if you wish to stop the beating, stop the whining, now you are whining about what could have happened, that might someday prevent you from entering a freeroll to win money you will never clear.

Must you also whine that I haven't told you how to do it; nobody told me how. It isn't brain surgery. I've probably played 100,000 raked hands. In the process i cleared a lot of promotional winnings. I don't know or care about the various factors that might affect the rate at which you will clear it.

No matter what advice i might give you about clearing you whinnings, i mean, winnings, you will win about, i mean, whine about it. Just play cash games all you can for a few months then look at your stats. that is the best way to find out how long it will take. you would already be a month or two into your experiment by now if you just did it. whine, i mean, what do you have to lose?

Sorry man. I know we don't see eye to eye but this was bad. I watched it when I got back from walking the dogs and I couldn't believe what I was seeing. All of the players were shown as AWAY. The chat box showed the game would resume when one of the players became active again. Then one player would come back, make a min raise, and pick up the pot. He was listed as the eventual winner.

The game was supposed to start at 8:00 Eastern time and from the start time shown on the lobby and the run time shown on the game lobby it looks like it didn't start running until 9:00 Eastern time.

I took some screen shots but I'll pass on posting them unless anyone requests that I do.

I guess you and the other guy were the only ones that were able to get in, the rest of us had connection errors. I think the losers are going to be re-entered into a new tourney later this week.

OK, I am a newb to twoplustwo as a participant but I have been observing for many years. I have registered at PPN Rounders Row and I have not deposited any money yet. I tend to play poker late night and the several times I have checked out the site there was absolutely nobody at any table. The only sign of activity was Ms Tater's invite tourny a while back.

I have several questions:
1. Do any PPN skins have more players than others or are they shared?
2. I noticed that there are several different bonuses offered. Some bonuses are automatic and some you must type in a code. Any thoughts? I think I understand the play through stuff.
3. What is the best time/day to see the most players?
4. Why in the heck does the guvment mess with the fun of grown adults?
5. Are tournys shared or detached from each skin?
