IndyJones, it seems you should take some meds.:P ...and by the way again no answers from support or Gio (more than 2 days), that is not really promising...

We will be adding new Omaha Tables and tournaments today and Sunday. Let me know if you want changes to them or additions.

The leaderboard page link you provided presents two leaderboards: a tourney leaderboard and a raked hand leaderboard. Do we get tourney points for playing in a sit n go, a satellite tourney (free or otherwise) or anything other than a regular tourney?

.
Well i figured out that the freerolls count toward points for the tournament leaderboard. How else could someone accumulate 40 points? i would be surprised if more than a few regular tourneys have run. How likely is it that they would get 10 people to put up a several bucks for a tourney then leave the tournament window open to be sure they didn't miss the start.

Re: *** Official Poker Pros Network Support and Promotions Thread ***

From the PPN TOS:
Quote:
16. Any amount withdrawn by the Player shall be forwarded to the Player within seven (7) days of the withdraw pending the results of satisfactory anti-fraud processes. Funds can be withdrawn via check, wire transfer or other methods that may be offered. We reserve the right to request additional forms of identification before sending a withdrawal. All deposits must be rolled over one time before any withdrawal requests are made. If a withdrawal is made before the Terms & Conditions are met, all withdrawals as well as any money earned by wagering will be forfeited.
So, if I make the $500 first deposit to qualify for the lifetime 35% rakeback, I have to play through the entire $500 deposit before I can withdraw any of my winnings?

Also, from the TOS:
Quote:
When a player receives a Cash Bonus he must meet all the attached requirements prior to requesting a withdrawal. The requirements are attached to varying, specific promotional offers and cannot be changed. The
player has 30 days from the issuance of said bonuses to meet the attached requirement. Players are required to have fulfilled all requirements prior to any requested withdrawal. If a player requests a withdrawal prior to
completing the requirement, only his original deposit less any sustained net losses will be returned.
So, if I make the $500 first deposit and get the 150% ($750) bonus, I have only 30 days to release the bonus before it expires? Also, the web site says that the deposit bonus is released in $5 increments. If I make a withdrawal before completing the bonus, do I lose any amounts already released? Do I lose any winnings from play as well? What happens after the 30 days end and I have released only a portion of the bonus?

It would take a miracle for you to earn it all in 30 days. Some days i get in hundreds of hands. other days i get almost no action at all.

This is a pretty good support response and great questions. I think i know some of the answers but will keep my trap shut because your answers should come from an official source. I assume you replied with the additional questions and I hope you will post any more answers you get. One can never have too many assurances about earning bonus and withdrawal limitations. So far I have found PPN to be very fair and their bonuses lucrative.

I wonder if you earn the bonus more slowly if you are on rakeback also. If not you will have made an especially good deal.

If everyone thought like you then no pokersite would even be open im sure they all started the same way little or no traffic, I'm sure PPN knew it was gonna be a struggle when they flipped off Cake.

We had some questions about the RNG used at PPN so I thought I would explain it here for you.

We use a RNG that is triggered by the GMT clock so each deal starts with a random number in its equation.

Also we use a single stack system. This means at the start of each hand there are 52 cards shuffled and stacked in the database just like a live deal. The cards are then dealt from the top of the software stack as it is needed. We do not re-shuffle the cards after each card is dealt as some poker rooms do. There are some that believe that by re-shuffling every time you use a card it could open the door for card manipulation.

We feel stacking 52 cards just like a real dealer would and using them in order from top down is a truer representation of a Live Deal.

We all see bad beats from time to time but I believe you will find our RNG system to be very fair and reliable.

Gio
Are you friggen kidding me poker sites do that? Really let me know which ones reshuffle in the middle of a hand I don't want to play on any site that does that, I always wondered about that question, just didn't want to look stupid by asking it so Gio let me know ok?

Pokerstars is the only other site which has a "set" deck before the deal. The rest do a constant shuffle.

Re: *** Official Poker Pros Network Support and Promotions Thread ***

Another question (while I await answers to my last ones):

Tournament #30015 "10K WSOP ME Qualifier 10" which starts at 4/24/12 14:00, awards one seat to:

Tournament #30007 "10K WSOP ME Qualifier 1" which starts at 4/21/12 19:00.

How can you play in #30007 that starts three days earlier if you win #30015? Does the tournament number 30007 get reused later for a later start date? It would be a good idea to show tournament start date/time in the Game Info Awards Schedule for qualifiers/satellites, not just the tournament # of the award.

I spoke with Chuck, PPNCEO about this and he has agreed to extend this to 60 days instead of 30. We do realize that as a growing poker network we have limited (but growing) liquidity. The extra 30 Days should help. We will update the TOS today to reflect that. The changes in the cashier have alread been done.

As to the play through, this is for the bonus dollars not the deposit.

"To convert the available Bonus to Real money, Player must generate 5 times the Bonus dollar amount in Rake. Releases of $5 from the total bonus will come when every $25 of the total in rake generation has been met.

Example: A $100.00 Bonus would require $500.00 in rake before a total withdrawal of those funds can be made. With $5.00 being released for every $25.00 in rake generated."

The loss of bonus $$ or winnings refered to in the TOS is when a player account is closed for any reason and hasn't completed the play through. We reserve the right to recover the bonus funds already paid.

Hope this clears it up...

No, you really answered very little of my questions. So let's start again.

Your TOS say:
"All deposits must be rolled over one time before any withdrawal requests are made. If a withdrawal is made before the Terms & Conditions are met, all withdrawals as well as any money earned by wagering will be forfeited."

1. If I make a first deposit, do I have to play through the entire deposit before I can withdraw any winnings?

2. If I make a first deposit, do I have to play through the entire deposit before I can withdraw any of my deposit balance?

3. If I withdraw any portion of my account balance before playing through the entire deposit, do I lose any winnings?

4. If I withdraw any portion of my account balance before playing through my entire first deposit, do I lose any bonus money I already earned?

5. If I withdraw any portion of my account balance before playing through the entire first deposit, do I lose my original deposit amount as well?

Your TOS say:
Quote:
When a player receives a Cash Bonus he must meet all the attached requirements prior to requesting a withdrawal. The requirements are attached to varying, specific promotional offers and cannot be changed. The player has 30 days from the issuance of said bonuses to meet the attached requirement. Players are required to have fulfilled all requirements prior to any requested withdrawal. If a player requests a withdrawal prior to completing the requirement, only his original deposit less any sustained net losses will be returned.
6. Do I lose any amount of a first deposit bonus that I have already released in the $5 increments if I don't complete releasing all of it by the end of the 30 dayes (or 60 days now as you say)?

7. If I decide to make a withdrawal before the 30 days (or 60 days now as you say) is up, do I lose any of the bonus money that I have already released in the $5 increments?

8. If I decide to make a withdrawal before the 30 days (or 60 days now as you say) is up, do I lose any winnings that I have earned?

Strictly by reading the TOS, I would have to assume these answers:

1. Yes.
2. Yes.
3. Yes.
4. Yes.
5. Yes.
6. Yes.
7. Yes.
8. Yes.

If your actual answer to any of these questions is "No", you will need to change your TOS accordingly before I would consider making a deposit.

I agree that PPN is much more responsive than the big pokerrooms to player imput and suggestions; the addition of tables requested is an excellent example of that. However, I am still waiting for some lower blind fixed limit holdem tables. OMG did i just bash them again?!!! Color me never satisfied if you will.

I do complain a lot because i want PPN to succeed. Nevermind the little quirks, as long as there are major flaws they will have a hard time recruiting and keeping new players. The room shut down at least 3 times yesterday because of connection problems but i stayed connected everywhere else. Last night I missed a tourney I was registered for because I did not have the tournament information window open. How annoying is that? And they still can't get the game history right; maybe it's not important to most people but it is to me.

I complained a little about there being no guaranteed prize for the rake race. After beating the PPNCEO for the $50 in the heads up match i now know i couldn't have been more wrong. Just kidding chuck - GG- actually i sucked out with a gut shot when it should have been a chop pot.

Re: *** Official Poker Pros Network Support and Promotions Thread ***

A few bugs (from the Noon $5 Freeroll today):

When the small blind is sitting out, the "Away" sign does not display (but it does display for all the other positions).

I left the table and timed out for some time, and was moved to a different table. When I returned, the "I'm Back" button kept generating an error. I had to close the table window and then click "Take Seat" from the tournament lobby to get back into play.

The tourney went on break after showdown of a hand but before pot was awarded. The table stopped right there, and didn't award the pot until tourney resumed after break.

I understand you skepticism but you seem to have let it get in the way of accepting favorable answers. Furthermore, i know from experience that you do not lose earned bonus by making a withdrawal, for example.

At some point you just have to have a little faith. The fact that they are doubling the amount of time you have to earn the bonus shows to some extent that faith is warranted. If you don't like the way it turns out at least you can get your money out fast - who else offers that?
