I have had hundreds locked up on everleaf/minted poker for about 9 months so I certainly wouldn't call PPN the most corrupt site I have ever played on. If you had money on Full Tilt you wouldn't say that either.

You say you "saw" 5 hands. At PPN you only get rake credit if you saw the flop and the pot was raked[/B]. Therefore, you can play 5 hands and only get credit for the amount of rake you paid in a hand where you saw the flop. It is their version of contributed rake and i'm pretty sure it is in the terms of service. An experience customer support rep should know have known that.

Re: *** Official Poker Pros Network Support and Promotions Thread ***

there were changes to promotions, one of which is:

"the Weekly Top 3 Rake Race Heads-up Sit & Go's will run for the last time on August 30th, 2012. These will not be continued after that date.

Starting with the month of September's stats, the Top 3 Positions for Overall Rakers for each ENTIRE calendar month will receive a $25.00, 15.00, 10.00 Promotional Bonus respectively. This Bonus is awarded only once per month to the Top 3 Overall Rakers for that month based upon that entire month's Raked Hand totals."

I have often complained that this should be a guaranteed money race instead the $400+ per month which could only be won by players beating PPNCEO. I should be careful what i ask for, I never thought it would be such a small amount. For me it is like 50% rakeback if I win - not so great but maybe they will increase it if traffic increases.

Re: *** Official Poker Pros Network Support and Promotions Thread ***

Last night i had to reboot the game client twice tonight in the guarantee, once for my first rebuy and again to add on. If i had not done it to add on i would have been out of the tourney, i had to be quick because there was a minute left in the break before i realized i wasn't offered it. I lost all in on the last hand before the break

Tonight I again lost all in on the last hand before the break. I didn't have to reboot but it only offered the add on. Every other site offers you a rebuy/double rebuy option plus the add on option. I would always choose the double rebuy plus add on, especially in a small tourney.

That was the last straw for me. I'm not going to play any more rebuys until they fix it. Promotional offers have diminished dramatically on PPN over the last few months. F

We are now in the third month since the tournament leaderboard promotion was cancelled. They said it was to revamp the promotion but everything takes so long to get done it is almost pitiful. If the rake leaderboard revamp is any indication, it means they will dramatically reduce the the prizes, if it comes back at all.

I'll probably withdraw most of my money soon and maybe deposit on bovada. Besides, i miss playing stud poker. PPN promised it several weeks ago but they haven't delivered, big surprise eh?

I agree it sucks, but many sites charge a $50 minimum fee or a percentage. It would have cost that player more to withdraw on some some other sites because the withdrawal was less than $500. I think bovada still gives you one free check withdrawal per month, although it may take weeks to get it.

Even if they implement it, who would you play against when even smaller networks with by far more traffic barely ever get to see any active 7CS tables?

once again indy is the excuse maker.. for ppn . i saw flop ,turn and river in those 5 raked hands and 1 of them was heads up which had a 25 cent rake.how do you only earn 4cents for those 5 hands. next ,almost every site i have played does not charge fees on the first withdraw in a month. and lastly i have money i cant get on full tilt, absolute and many e wallets , but when the only way to meet a playthrough to get your money is screwing you well thats as corrupt as it gets.

your previous post was unclear. if you saw the flop and the pot was raked and you were not credited with your rake contribution then there is indeed a very serious problem and it is inexcusable.

i have had nearly 40,000 raked hands and never suspected that i was not getting credit for all my rake. I paid more attention to rake points than the rake taken as I was focused mainly on the rake races.

I wouldn’t be surprised if they really are just that incompetent but there is no reason why you should give them the benefit of the doubt. I would be suspicious too. It is entirely feasible that that they didn't know their system was under-crediting the rake. As slow as traffic has been since they started I seriously would be surprised if they have had more than 50 people claim bonus. You were really on the ball to catch it. Since rake credit equals bonus dollars for you, i wouldn't call it a mere glitch. They owe you a debt of gratitude and if it were me i would credit your account a several bucks for your invaluable imput. It's the thought that counts but dollars count more, in poker at least. Since again, we are talking about players money there can be no excuse for not fixing it as soon as possible, without delay, expetiously, rush, stat..ect...you get my drift.

I would like to see them retroactively and prospectively calculate how much bonus was wrongfully not credited to me and everyone else who was playing toward a deposit bonus or reload bonus and pay us. Since they apparently had the data to verify your claim, maybe they could tell how much they underpaid other players. Or maybe they could just double the amount of bonus actually paid, i could live with that, but i'm not holding my breath.

you can withdraw money you deposited any time you want as far as i know. you cannot withdraw deposit bonus unless you meet playthrough requirements, all sites do that. Maybe you should try to withdraw and find out. I would certainly want to know if i am wrong about that. You cannot withdraw freeroll winnings unless you meet playthrough requirements, many sites do that.

i think the TOS or cashier page tells you about withdrawal costs. As with any site, you should read them before depositing and you should get clarification on what ever is unclear to you. you are entitiled to your opinion. i simpley don't agree with you on this point.

Hopefully that includes standard table sizes. The bigger table is better than that awful mini size, but would still rather have a smaller table.

As much as I like 7CS (Hi and Hi Lo), unfortunately PPN has not shown much yet to actually create trust in their brand.

I froze in the weekly $50 tournament tonight. I think it was just before the break. I rebooted then couldn't get back into the game client for about 10 min. Of course I was not automatically returned to the table, it's not merge you know. Furthermore, the event had disappeared from the list. How often does that happen? I usually crash and burn long before the break. this time i had a lot of chips so i'm sorta bummed about the whole thing. I think they pay us pro rata (at least 2 bucks each) or proportional to our chips at the time, although i doubt they could even figure that out.

Re: *** Official Poker Pros Network Support and Promotions Thread ***

the only thing this site had going for it was the promotions. the promotional prizes have been cut in half in the last 3 months if you don't count the beat the boss/beat the staff promotion - the event hasn't run any of the 6 months or so it has been available because only 30 some players have qualified. The visit boss promo is another empty promise because they just aren't enought players. I submitted entries for the creat a promo deal but didn't even get an aknowledgement of my entry- i think the ideas were supposed to go on the forum but i haven't seen it there.

I've heard of great novelty games coming but i don't want to post about it here until it is up and running. I dont' want to tell you about something new coming next week and end up scratching my head 2 months from now wondering what happened. i'll do my head scratching in private.

Actually, it was a $25 tourney, I don't know why i thought it was $50 unless that's what it used to be. Anyway, I got an email from support saying my share was credited to my primary account. it didn't say how much my share was (some players had been eleminated when the tourney shut down). i don't keep close enough tabs on my primary account to be able to tell. I guess i'll take their word that i got something ----which is more than i usually get from that tourney.

I took a little hiatus after my last post, from PPN and this thread. Was hoping to come back and find things were showing improvement. Skimmed over things and sent Skunkybud a pm about Skype. I haven't logged into the PPN client yet so hoping I don't find any unwelcome surprises there.

Do they seriously know what they are doing? What if there was a race or specific games that require raked hands as a requirement?

The only problem happy campler described is in rake tracking for bonus purposes. For rake race purposes go to promotions/network stuff/table games and click "player rake race statistics" for real time daily, weekly and monthly rake race standings. or just click "player rake race statistics" at the the following location http://portal.pokerprosnetwork.eu/Ne.../RakeRace.aspx

All those glitches you mentioned seem to be fixed. The tables are running much smoother. The tournament lobbies are refreshing very quickly now. You can now have up to 6 lobbies and 6 tables open.

I liked the format of last night's $25 Guaranteed with the Rebuys and Add-on but please offer a few more details when you post these. When I clicked on the Add Chips button before I had even lost any chips I was offered the option to buy more. I didn't at the time so I don't know if it would have gone through. Would it have added a rebuy before I had even lost anything? How many rebuys might I have been able to purchase, i.e., if I have 1500 can I rebuy another 4500 (3 rebuys) before the game even starts? Is there a limit even if I am rebuying from a zero stack or can I reload an unlimited amount (up to my bankroll of course) before the break?

I did notice that after I bought the Add-on, the Add Chips button stopped working so I at least knew I couldn't buy any more at that point.

When we got down to three handed, I clicked on the Game Info button on the lobby and it had changed from showing 3 places paid to only showing 1st place paid at $36. I mentioned this in chat but it didn't seem to affect the others. I shut off the lobby, then restarted it, then clicked on the Game Info button again and it returned to showing 3 places paid.

I would still like to see the chat box made larger, with a larger, bolder font that is easier to read, and the availability to pause it or back it up so missed text can be read. I've noticed there is a lot of dead space around the avatar/nameplate at each position. These need to be moved closer into/on the table and the table really needs to be made a little smaller to free up some room for the chat box. While the table is the central focus, it really doesn't have to take up all the real estate in the window as so much of it is dead space. Also, the announcements that pop up in the upper right hand corner need to be moved to the chat box or maybe make some kind of news crawl just above the chat box/action buttons. I don't think the eye (at least my eyes and a few others from questions I have seen in the chat box) pay attention to the upper right corner easily.
