With reference to the previous meetings between Twoplustwo users and PokerStars, PokerStars Steve has informed me that on this occasion PS would again like to invite two [Edit: changed to one] player/user representatives to the Isle of Man in May 2014 to Meetings with Management and key staff to discuss various matters; where confidential data and information may be revealed to them, (under Non-disclosure Agreements), that is not appropriate for public display.

The Meetings have been set for May 21st, 22nd and 23rd.

Selection of the two Twoplustwo-user representatives will be as normal, and any user may be considered.

The goal of the meetings is for both sides to gain greater knowledge and understanding and for the poker site to improve as a result. Senior Managers will be present at all Meetings.

As before, I'll open a "CV thread" for volunteers and those proposed by others to give their credentials and aspirations, in due course. Voting to select two reps out of the volunteers and those nominated, (who are willing to be considered), will then follow. (PS retains the right to change any details whatsoever relating to their invitation at any time.)

Please treat this as the general discussion thread towards this end. You may either volunteer to be considered or you may recommend a fellow user that you feel would be a good representative. If someone is recommended, they should confirm their willingness to attend the Meetings.

This will probably turn into the same bitchfest as the last time but I still think these meetings are a good idea.

Is there a list of topics that they are looking to cover? I mean, I'd get involved in this thread if there is going to be some consideration of seating scripts, PLO rake, etc (stuff they already passed up in past meetings). If it is just other stuff on the agenda than IDGAF.

If it pleases the court i suggest ditching these meetings , and use the money towards increasing your guarantees such as sunday million seats and other promotions. To me having a thread dedicated to addressing on going improvements/ issues and heavily monitoring it would be far more constructive and beneficial to ALL players, not sending one person to yearly meetings that don't seem to work.

We should send someone who could potentially achieve something, preferably not somebody who's main profession is poker, that would only be there to give feedback. Which isn't bad, but we want more. Go after me

I would like to see the option. "Send nobody, just fix this given bug/issue". The given bug/issue should be determined in a poll.

I do think player meetings are a good idea. And I do think having a couple of PLO players in also was a great idea. In fact, I think specializing having each group in will be a very good idea to improving each specific game, rather than have them random spread out.

I was impressed with the trip report that Chuck Bass wrote after the last meeting.

Props to Stars for still having these. I hope that people will vote for the kinds of people who have a genuine interest in the longetivity of the games and not visiting the Isle of Man. I can assure you the place is not very interesting at all, and there's next to zero free time during daylight hours anyway. So I'd advise people to only nominate themselves if they actually want to work without getting paid for a few days.

Will be curious to find out who goes and the results this time. GL
