I wasn't aware that Everleaf had that many players, and if they do, they certainly aren't all active.

An average of 270 cash game players, just take a look at pokerscout.

Which is still a huge improvement to the current player pool on PPN Mind you, I would not necessarily have faith that ELG actually unlocks all player funds of the skins that move.

I agree, and wasn't trying to be negative. PPN obviously has to start somewhere and this is a good thing. I wish them well.

i was told in another thread that the everleaf skin Mintedpoker alone has over 3000 players, which. as a former Minted player, i find believable

This could be true but I think those guys were just making the point that the vast majority of that number are simply dormant accounts. Just for an example, if Minted is a skin that makes the move even expecting 5% of that 3000 number to now be regularly playing at a single given time at PPN would be a generous assumption. In other words dont expect the tables to have hundreds of new players on the tables the next time you play after the move, but nonetheless it should be a great improvement as 39 stated.

Even if only 40 players become active on PPN via everleaf, that's still huge.

I had this trouble last night while playing the $25 Guaranteed. When the announcement popped up that the CEO was sitting at a Beat the Boss table I opened that lobby, then tried to open the second Beat the Boss table. While doing this I still had the $25 lobby open and I got a message that said I had reached my limit on open lobbies. Why is there any limit?

I liked the format of last night's $25 Guaranteed with the Rebuys and Add-on but please offer a few more details when you post these. When I clicked on the Add Chips button before I had even lost any chips I was offered the option to buy more. I didn't at the time so I don't know if it would have gone through. Would it have added a rebuy before I had even lost anything? How many rebuys might I have been able to purchase, i.e., if I have 1500 can I rebuy another 4500 (3 rebuys) before the game even starts? Is there a limit even if I am rebuying from a zero stack or can I reload an unlimited amount (up to my bankroll of course) before the break?

I did notice that after I bought the Add-on, the Add Chips button stopped working so I at least knew I couldn't buy any more at that point.

When we got down to three handed, I clicked on the Game Info button on the lobby and it had changed from showing 3 places paid to only showing 1st place paid at $36. I mentioned this in chat but it didn't seem to affect the others. I shut off the lobby, then restarted it, then clicked on the Game Info button again and it returned to showing 3 places paid.

I would still like to see the chat box made larger, with a larger, bolder font that is easier to read, and the availability to pause it or back it up so missed text can be read. I've noticed there is a lot of dead space around the avatar/nameplate at each position. These need to be moved closer into/on the table and the table really needs to be made a little smaller to free up some room for the chat box. While the table is the central focus, it really doesn't have to take up all the real estate in the window as so much of it is dead space. Also, the announcements that pop up in the upper right hand corner need to be moved to the chat box or maybe make some kind of news crawl just above the chat box/action buttons. I don't think the eye (at least my eyes and a few others from questions I have seen in the chat box) pay attention to the upper right corner easily.

I am still waiting for that press release, mind you I doubt any Everleaf skins will jump ship and have all their funds available immediately:

Unless PPN is actually guaranteeing those funds? Very unlikely as well ...

Poker Pros Network is pleased to announce Rounders Row is joining the PPN.

Zane Smith from Rounders Row states:
Quote:
Rounders Row will be acquiring both Patriots of Poker and Raise and Fold, instantly bringing over 3,500 members to the network. PPN's low rake schedule and speedy cashouts give us the foundation to build the player friendly poker room we are looking for. We will be agressively pursuing the acquisitions of other poker rooms and assets to help build player liquidity throughout the network.

What will seperate Rounders Row from other poker rooms is how everything is geared towards the player. The 3% table rake is an industry leader and will lead to more long term profitablility for players. The fast cashouts will make sure that players have quick access to their available funds. And last, we will be announcing a list of site pros or "Rounders" in the coming weeks. These Rounders will be known professionals in both live and online circles, will travel to events together and revenue share within the group. The great thing for Rounders Row players is that every player will have the opportunity to work their way into "Rounder" status. Meaning you will have every opportunity to play with, and revenue share with major names in the industry on the live circuit.
For players with balances on Patriots of Poker or Raise and Fold...... we are already working with Everleaf to get funds transferred over to PPN and expect an update on that progress very soon.

We expect Rounders Row to be open within the next 2 weeks.

We are talking about Everleaf. No progress there happens "very soon", besides that all funds from US players are locked according to the quoted post above. And Rounders Row acquires a site that closed up shop half a year ago?

http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/28...-shop-1133128/

I thought the players got moved to another skin upon request and the previous owner got locked out by ELG.

Just wanted to say I requested a WU withdrawal 6/22

approved 6/26

cash in hand that evening!!!!!

Fees seemed kinda steep about 15% and PPN takes $10 to process, but it was all freeroll money. Need more players so come on micro stakes grinders.

I used to play a lot on Patriots of Poker it was a good experience. I was talking to the owner about ways to get my balance back and he said that the site was moving to PPN and the balances would transfer. I started out on there with a small stake and within 3 months I had about a 3k stake to go down the Bahamas and play some events at the PCA. I hope theres enough volume on here with the switch to get some games going.

Tournament 10041 did not pop up automatically this morning. I did not have the tournament lobby open, just the main lobby.

Another minor glitch. The first hand I was in once I got the game running. As may be seen in the screenshot, I have no cards, the timer is running, and the action buttons are still open. Others could evidently see them. Not a huge issue as it was only one hand but again, something that should not occur.

Actually it is, because it also means that it may happen on various occasions e.g. when you get disconnected and come back.

.
i think the limit is 4 and that it applies to any event you are registered for. This may be a problem if you register for the next 3 freerolls for example. I got a support response Monday, on an unrelated matter, in which they said this: "In an attempt to reduce the large number of sit-outs through the first 3 levels of Free Rolls, all FR registrations have been shortened to 1 hour before the start of each." However, as of today you can still register for freerolls well in advance.

I've been occassionally following the threads on this because i have money stuck on everleaf. I believe they are returning american players money if they have a non USA account - which is very few of us. So as long as the money is going to an offshore company I see no excuse for them not to release the funds. However, after being pretty much stonewalled for 6 months, I have little hope of ever getting my money off Minted and little faith in anything they say. I'm just glad it is only a few hundred dollars I have left on there, after having profitted in the thousands.

That makes sense. Sitters in freerolls have always been a problem and I am in favor of just removing them if they haven't played by a certain time or level. Take the chips out of the game. While I have benefited on occasion by being the only player at a table, it really isn't much fun.

In the Wednesday night (last night) $25 Guaranteed game some players had problems with rebuying. Are there limits on the number of rebuys available?

Once we got to the break/Add-On period, we had trouble getting the Add-On. I finally had to turn off my tournament lobby, then restart it, then click on the Add Chips button. I suspect this might have been the problem with people having rebuy issues, possibly still having the tournament lobby open.

Not entirely sure why they would want to shoot themselves in the own feet unless the software is crap and can't handle that much traffic ... why else do you want to keep the max number of open tables / lobbies low if your main goal should be to build up more traffic?
