So this morning I finally got motivated enough to take screen shots of the problems I am seeing. During the first table, which can be seen in the first two photos, I asked if anyone could see my avatar and chips count. Although I could not see mine or the two just before me, others could.
This is definitely a problem.
Notice in the next two photos the action buttons moved up onto the table.
Finally in this third photo I can see who the two players before me were, as well as see my avatar and chips count.
Notice the tiny vertical line and two tiny horizontal lines left as a marker after the player in UTG is gone. These remain until the table is closed.
In this photo the lines are at the cutoff position and between the dealer button and small blind. Marking whomever was knocked out.
The last two are just shots showing the AWAY sign working perfectly before the hand. However, after the position folds, the sign goes away. It would be nice if they were left in place.
Most of this is just cosmetic but the first problem definitely affected my game play. Without knowing who is sitting around me, how many chips they have, and how many chips I have, I can't make the proper decisions. And just because some of the issues I have shown are simply cosmetic, these things have an impact on having faith in a poker room. Things are going to go wrong, things are going to break, but with the problems encountered in the online poker world it makes sense to make the software as trustworthy as possible. At this time it is not.
