I don't know if it is in the text history, which i never look at because it takes too long, but the graphic/last hand graphic does not show what hole cards you had in holdem games, including tourneys

I like the faded out idea, but there are many ways they could do it. Doesnt matter which. Also, i found where you can set it not to show folded cards. That will work as speculating on what you might have it can be bad on the psyche. I just wanted a way to know the hand was live or dead when i have other tourneys playing.
And, imo those funny little quirks give the software an overall feel of not being completed and may not inspire any kind of trust in the site as far as new players go.
I was speaking with my table at a local tourney last weekend and only one knew that PPN was up and running.

I see what you are saying. I guess I would just prefer the chat box to be chat. Maybe a second box for hand action. I like the chat boxes on the Merge network because they can be opened on the side of the game window and the fonts are legible. Maybe a chat box on one side of the window and a hand action box on the other side. I think if the chat box is going to be placed in the lower corner of the game window the poker table needs to be reduced in size, then make the chat box larger.

When do people play here? Every time I've logged in there are no games running.

I wasn't playing cash tables tonight because i was registered for rake leaderboard events and didn't want to be booted out of the game room (see earlier posts).

I am one of the few players who sit alone at cash tables, usually Omaha and Omaha hilo limit games, which is a good place to earn rake points for the leaderboard. Playing 1000 or more raked hands a week will likely get you in the weekly heads up match against PPNCEO for $50, $35 or $20.

so don't forget to check the omaha tables unless you hate omaha. I am usually on evenings, and when not working, in the afternoon.

Thanks for the info. Do the cash tables ever fill up or is there like 1 short-handed cash game at the most?

I have seen full rings, but rarely. I prefer the 6 ring and 4 ring table because the rake percentage is lower.

I am reasonably sure I registered yesterday for this morning's freeroll and registered for the Sunday night freeroll as well. I opened the client at 8:30 this morning, then opened the tournament lobby and went about doing some other things. The game started on time but no table opened for me. Low and behold I was not on the list.

Now I can't be positive that I was actually registered and it is my fault for not double checking but as I am still registered for the Sunday night game I am fairly certain I did register.

OK PPNers thanks for hanging in there with us. A major update has been rolled out that adresses many of your issues.

Here is the info for Rev. 11.0.1.1

1. All bonuses have been credited and will be 100% automatic now.

2. Hand History should show correct now---
If Showdown = true then show hole cards to all players
If Showdown = false then show hole cards of current player only
If Showdown = false and fold = true and flop = true then show cards
3. Auto Ring table open:
If client reconnects and currently in a game the current ring game table will open
4. Auto Tourney table open:
If client reconnects and currently in a game the current tourney game table will open
If registered for a tourney and Tourney lobby is not open at the start of the tourney (SITTING_STAGE) the tourney lobby window will open and Auto sit player at correct table
5.Update is now HTTP:
This resolves the firewall and MOST A/V issues during install and updates. This update client is a whole new application from scratch. The old FTP updater client will be retired and no longer used.

In tonight's freeroll, table #0 was all screwed up, for me at least. Two players who were seated, were continually shown as away. The blinds passed me several times without actually hitting me. I lost all of my chips to a player who was showing less than 700 while I had 2300 when their AK ran out my flopped set of 10s. Even though they took out two people earlier in the game their chipstack never showed more than 925.

Would it be possible to add a few 6-max tables at .05/.10NL ? I am seeing a couple heads-up tables, 10-max and 4-max tables but no 6-max.

Thank you for responding to my request. However, I don't see the .05/.10NL 6max tables. I see a couple of .05/.10 Pot Limit 6max tables but not No Limit.

When Gio says something has been "added" he means that it is scheduled to be added in the next update. On the bright side, he is pretty good on spelling and grammar. Consider yourself lucky that he responded to your request to add tables, he rarely responds to my table adding requests, as you can see on the same page.

The update was done today, your requested table is now available - good luck!!

The only time I have had a response to a table adding request is when i complained that one of my favorite tables had been deleted, it was promptly re-instated. I have requested a small ring .10/.20 fixed limit holdem table at least twice with no response. Playing micro fixed limit tables is how I am able to consistently place in the weekly rake races without much risk to my stack.

I suspect that they don't want to add a small ring 10/.20 fixed limit holdem table because they don't figure they will get as much rake as on NL tables with the same blinds. They don't make out so bad on fixed limit table if the pot is chopped however. Consider this example from a fixed limit omaha hilo table: If i win an entire .40 pot the house rakes .01; if the .40 pot is split the house rakes .01 from each of us.

Here is another rake oddity: if the pot is .20 there is no rake. If i bet .20 after the turn and the other player folds they take .01 rake. therefore, they are taking rake on the uncalled part of the pot- i think most poker sites do not do this. If it really bothered me i would have mentioned it before-- i'm just saying.

i actually like this because i get rake points on that hand. It isn't the only reason i like these tables - they are fast paced low stess games which i can play for hours, and often do.

Nice try i guess, maybe you can give it another try in a month or so. Thankfully you didn't mess with the omaha table histories which work o.k.

PPN may be weak on software but i give them credit for being great on promotions. I just noticed at the top of the promotions page that there is now a weekly sunday freeroll for those qualifying by playing heads up SNG's for $.01, .25 or .50.

It would be nice to know if there is a minimum number of players for the tourney to run (I am hoping it is something obtainable like a 10 player minimum) and how much will be awarded. i guess we will have to wait for the tourney to be posted sometime sunday to find out.

COME ON PEOPLE - LET'S NOT LET THIS PROMOTION GO TO WASTE, FROM LACK OF PARTICIPATION, LIKE THE $500.00 LIKE THE $500 BEAT THE STAFF PROMOTION.

Again, thank you Gio for responding promptly to my request for a .05/.10NL 6max table. However, it is a play money table. Whenever you get a chance it'd be great if you could make this a real money table. I appreciate the help.
