I have noticed online chat but i have never seen it when it was not offline, not that i have looked all that much. In any event, my purpose in complaining here about the malfunction in "auto-seating" for events is not just because i would like to see it fixed.

It is only fair to let forum players know that they need to have the tournament info window open if they want to play; you can't do that by telling support. Haven't you noticed that typically more than half of the players in freerolls are sitting out? I suspect the auto-seating malfunction has a lot to do with that. It can't be good for the new player base to have them victimized by an amateurish malfuncion in what is likely to be their first playing experience with the network.

so is anyone playing at the other pokerrooms of the PPN network? I did see TheMaven sitting at a table in the Lounge Lizard room. Is this guy a house player? He once told me that PPN pays him to play.

I haven't tried the other rooms yet. Are they any different? I see TheMaven sitting at tables frequently but I have no idea which skin he is on. I guessed he was a house player. How about ProMike? How many pros do they have?

The auto-seating function still isn't working for me.

How does TheMaven manage to sit at tables in PPN and Lounge Lizard at the same time. Does it take 2 computers?

I am ProMike. I'm not affiliated with PPN in any way, I just enjoy playing on smaller sites.

I think it is because they are all the same table. No matter which site you downloaded and use, it still goes through CMK Interactive Systems. So we don't really know which one he is using ultimately.

Hi Mike, sorry, I assumed ProMike meant you worked for them.

I have occasionally sat at the tables on CheapSeats but have yet to play a hand on that skin. The only player ive ever seen on there was TheMaven but i think was a table in the network.

yeah u are probably right. I saw another player on the same table in 2 different rooms. It is a logical thing to do that almost every other rooms have done to give more options to players.

Dude how old are you? You must not been playing long, if you ever noticed they are prolly sitting out because their not logged in that's their fault for not unregistering....it's only a freeroll anyway.

the top 25 leaderboard is set to run tonight. support was kind enough to send me an email to let me know. I assume that all those registered got the same notice. It also told us to be sure the tournament window is open so we don't have to worry about the auto-seating. I think this is a great idea, I hope it wasn't too much hassle for them.

I'm not so good at math, so maybe someone can explain this. How do you get 41 registered for the top 25 leaderboard.

Congrats to Chuck winning all three head to head playoffs tonight.

I did get paid for second place for the previous week's match that Chuck was able to play. According to my records, i had the most points that week but i shouldn't look a $35 gift horse in the mouth, especially since Chuck is on a roll lately.

Did anyone notice that the promotions page no longer has any leaderboard information? The leaderboard information it contained was always out of date but it did have a link to a leaderboard page which mostly did have up-to-date info. It no longer has that link. I would like to think this means that they plan to fix some of the flaws.

However, since no announcement was made about this change, we are left to speculate. I probably participated in this promotion as much as anyone and benefited from the weekly rake race as much as anyone. I have reason to believe that the administration of the weekly race race was not entirely competent, but I am confident that ultimately I was rewarded fairly for my participation. Unless they are just taking down the leaderboard page for a few hours to make some changes, it seems unwise to deprive us of the method to monitor our progress on the leaderboards.

I will review the last few posts today and try to address the issues found there.

Happy Poker,

Gio
It has been 6 weeks since my reload deposit. don't you think that is long enough to wait to credit the bonus?

I do appreciate Gio looking into the auto-seating flaw. I was encouraged by his confident declaration that the fix was made. The failure to deliver on the promise detracts from his credibility.

I was able to a link in my computer records for the leaderboard page. Here it is if anyone is interested:

Having found the leaderboard page, begrudgingly, and with underwhelming sincerity, I do congratulate TheMaven for topping the raked hand leaderboard. I hope he enjoys the full benefit of being at the top of monthly leaderboard race, which is zip, zilch, nada.

You don't get anything more from 1st place than from 25th place. Theorectically, he does get seeding advantage is the top 16 event. I say it is theoretical because the seeding does not hold after the first round of heads up playoffs.

i also say it is theoretical because a glitch (big surprise eh?) terminated the event after the first round. Skunkybud and I, the only 2 live players to advance past the first round, pretty much got screwed out of the opportunity to playoff for the $100 prize. Instead we are registered for an 8 player sng for $100 without any explanation of who the other 6 players will be. Are they going to try to figure out which 6 of the 12 players sitting out in the other brackets won in the first round? I don't think anyone on staff knows how to make a "to do" list because nothing seems to get done unless you nag them.

I don't think anyone who qualified but didn't show up would mind not being included in the rest of the event (especially since no one knows who of them advanced past the first round). Skunkybud and I would be satisfied with just splitting the prize. We would be satisfied with a scheduled 2 person playoff. I for one am not satisfied to be left in limbo with no answers.

I am pretty sure what is likely to happen when a glitch fix is promised -- nothing much.

actually i think they do a lot of things right and some things as well as anyone. At this point i am ready to give up on them creating a perfectly functional site. The auto-seating flaw and other tourney start quirks really work to the advantage of me and anyone who knows how to get around it. It means more players sitting out. So i might as well stop complaining about it.

I pretty much stick to the omaha tables so i can use the history, it doesn't work right on holdem tables.

Opps, i wrote more than one paragraph, that means Georgebushsdad will have to take his attention deficit meds.

The leaderboard info was back within 24 hour - either that, or i failed to scroll right. oh well, who cares?

I think im still in the middle on the love it or hate it thing Indy. And we need Gio or support or somebody to look into the leaderboard heads up thing from last month.
Several issues ive seen with play are
1 When a player is called all in the chat box tells all who wins before the cards are even completely turned over.
2 When I am playing a cash table and a tourney starts to open the clien completely shuts down and i have to restart it. Anybody else having this problem?
3 The Auto fold or check options only sometimes pop up seemingly with no rhyme or reason.
4 Table resizing.
5 When the show folded cards option is set, we need the red fold to stay on the cards so when multitabling you dont get confused on whether a hand is live or not.
Hey Gio man, any help with any of this would be greatly appreciated.

The chat box is nearly impossible to read for me so I haven't noticed #1 but I would prefer not to have the hand played out in chat anyway. The hand history will show what happened if needed.

I was watching the cash table you were playing when the tournament started and my client shut down so #2 needs to be fixed.

I don't care much for the setup of the buttons or their usefulness so far.

Have you tried using the "mini table" feature in the lobby settings? Not what I am looking for in smaller tables but one might be able to tile 8 or 10. I would prefer to resize the table windows to fit my needs.

Besides the folded sign, how about keep the AWAY indicator on for as long as a player is away. At present the AWAY sign kind of comes and goes during the hand. Also, why does it not show on the SB player even though they are away?

Is that what the red fold box is for? It scares the heck out of me, i would rather see it gone. I would rather see my folded cards half way faded out or off to the side.
