Thank you. I suppose it will work fine next month. It would be nice if you put separate stats for the weekly and monthly parts of the rake leaderboard - I hate doing the math.

Sorry for getting snippy so fast, its just that TheExpress and Danger1 snuck up on my leaderboard position this week, those crafty sun of a guns. Now i'm only playing for $20 instead of $50.

Welcome aboard. A little advice, check out the leaderboard page. Placing in a few freerolls next month will probably get you on the leaderboard. You can often find me grinding rake points on the omaha limit tables. The holdem .30/.60 FL table has been getting a fair amount of action lately too. Good luck

it would be cool if we could play more rooms than one at time. Is there any action in the other rooms? I don't want to wait around with no cash games to play while i'm waiting on a tourney to start.

Also Gio, a couple of your skins are giving away 1k WSOP seats to Ladies'/Seniors events. I'm not sure it's a good idea to have giveaways that automatically preclude what is likely a majority of your player base. I for one am neither a senior nor a laaaady, but I'd like to try to qualify to a 1k WSOP event.
I have an AARP card, will that get me in seniors event? If I change my name to Kitty69 can I play the ladies's event? I'm so exited I think I peed a little and got my panties in a bunch!!

Five days later and still no reply. Oh well, so much for PPN.

Be patient................

What they do well, they seem to do really well. For example, since this thread started and they have been allowed, Gio has responded very quickly to the questions that he has responded to.

What they do poorly, they do very poorly. For example, the hand histories have been an issue (and not always the same issue) since they relaunched, there have been multiple complaints/suggestions on this and the only fix I've seen was an improvement, but not an actual fix.

I believe they are working hard to get things right. I believe they care about the players, and I can't say the same about many sites out there. I also think there must be some behind the scenes issues that are slowing them down, otherwise some of the silly little software issues (pre-act buttons, can't re-buy while playing unless you sit out, etc) would already be resolved. And though their CS is very good for the most part, they need to become familiar with the old CS axiom, "under promise, over deliver." Gio said that he would post a reply or action would be take "later today", and five days later, no reply and no action. That qualifies (obviously) as "over promise, under deliver". They do this out of a want to give us what we want, but it is were most of the frustration with PPN comes from. Alternately, how many sites even want to give us what we want? At least PPN is trying. Gio and Chuck, if you can get that one thing right, you'll have many fewer complaints, we players will be less frustrated, and you won't feel so unappreciated.

I know that most (almost all) of us really do appreciate the work that you have done and continue to do. We wouldn't continue to support you if we didn't want to help you succeed. And Chuck, we know you are basically all-in on this venture, and it is something you love. So, Thank you for taking the chance.

This issue was pushed to Legal as well as management. So it takes time to review and decide what can or cannot be changed in our terms and conditions. We just can't cut and paste text.

We need to get the WSOP qualifiers running. I've yet to see the first level games start although I may have missed them. Please sign up for the freeroll qualifiers under the WSOP tab in the lobby. I've seen them listed for about 8:30 in the morning and 2:30 in the afternoon running most days. I may be wrong on the details but we still need to be running the freerolls whenever possible.

I downloaded a few skins but I can't connect to the servers for some reason. I think its a firewall issue but I don't know what to change. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Have you tried turning off/disconnecting your firewall and running it? What firewall are you using? I am behind a Linksys router and a ZoneAlarm firewall. I think several of us have experienced problems connecting to the server sometimes. I'm only using the PPNpoker.eu version so I don't know if some of the others are having more issues.

I have had problems connecting to the server occasionally when the software is being updated. Sometimes it won't connect for several attempts so I just leave it alone and try again a few hours later. Then for some unknown reason it is working again. My guess is always that they are working on updates and some just don't go through well.

You may also try emailing PPN at info@pokerprosnetwork.eu or support@pokerprosnetwork.eu. They respond as quickly as they are able.

If you have an older operating system like windows XP you have to uncheck the box that says please screw up my computer. Well, not exactly that wording.

The top 3 weekly rake leaders playoffs against PPNCEO did not run this week but, within 48 hours, I got paid as if I won so no complaints there. Chuck couldn’t make it for some reason, I hope there was no accident or illness causing it and I wish him well.

There was a glitch in the first running of the monthly heads up playoffs for the top 16 rake leaders. The event shut down after the first round. I got an email response saying the problem was related to there being so many players sitting out. Of course it is likely that there will always be someone sitting out so it is something that has to be fixed of course. I should not be surprised since it is the first time they have tried to run an event structured that way. I got a prompt email response saying they are deciding what to do with the $100 winner take all prize. I suppose they are waiting for Chuck to come back.

I was one of only two live players to make it to the second round. I am confident that Chuck will come up with something fair. I try to be patient but it is hard to do when I get booted from an event just one heads up match away from $100, so I hope they do not take very long figuring it out.

Until they figure out how to make it perfect, I would like to see the hand histories for holdem done the same way it is done for omaha. There is no point to showing a hand history that does not include anyone's hole cards.

I'd rather see the Omaha HH done the same way as hold 'em. Showing everyone's hole cards regardless of action reveals way too much.

you would think freeroll winners would want to meet the playthrough requirements. I'm sure they can with cash games; don't know if it is the same with tourneys.

it is hard to round up 10 players for a tourney to run. I have suggested lowering the minimum number of players needed to start a tourney, to 4 for instance. It wouldn't hurt to have more small buyin tourneys to include a wider range of players.

You would probably get your best and fastest answer by emailing support.

your right Indy about the min required but they have been offering sit and gos from 4 to 10 players for a long time. none ever fill. But, im in for the long haul cause i do not trust the other US facing sites. Has anyone seen any advertising(other than here) or any mention of PPN on any of the poker media outlets? Maybe staying under that massive DOJ radar?
