Thanks for stopping by the Poker Pros Network Forum thread. For 2 years PPN has been working to provide players an online home for poker. After trying 3 different networks that promised a lot but delivered a little it was time to start our own and write our own software so our destiny is controlled by YOU, the player.

It is your participation and feedback that will make the PPN a great place to play. We can't do it without your support. Poker is a very dynamic game.
Players' preferences shift regularly which in turn means the game offering needs to be equally dynamic. Our experienced team of game managers will continuously monitors the activities in our poker network and with the help of our customer monitoring software we will strive to deliver an online poker experience well beyond the standards seen today.

By having the power to alter almost every aspect of the game, table stakes, game formats and tournament schedules are all tweaked to match current trends. Prize pools are regularly adjusted to maximize attractiveness and minimize financial risk and the overall offering is constantly reviewed to secure that players can easily find the games they are most interested in playing. Our game administration tools can dictate new rules as well as introduce new game formats to continuously create unique player challenges.

POKER PROS NETWORK is the only network that offers one convenient cashier with a one-time registration and multiple poker rooms where you can play for FREE, for CASH, and for PRIZES.

POKER PROS NETWORK offers several convenient depositing options, including credit cards.

POKER PROS NETWORK is owned and operated by CMK Interactive Systems S.A. a licensed Costa Rica corporation and has independently contracted with MyPaylinQ Inc, a respected, licensed and audited financial services company to manage the cashier system to assure that all funds are secured and segregated as it relates to player accounts and operating accounts.

Help us build a new online poker home for all poker players.

Forget all this hand wringing about "dynamic" software. How about some software that actually works?

cjc2...can you please be more specific about the issue. I am playing in a game right now and it seems to be playing fine.

Please give me details and I will try to address the problem.

I've got a recurring complaint Gio, although, i agree that the the cash game play per se has been flawless for a while now.

1. The hand replay/history available from a link in the game window does not show hole cards, which makes it pretty much useless.
When you have tried to fix this before you ended up showing the hole cards of everyone, even those who did not stay for a showdown. This is better in my view than not showing any hole cards. Of course, the standard in the industry is to show me my hole cards and the hole cards of all players staying for the showdown, regardless of who won and regardless of the order of showing.

Also, i do not like the presentation of the replay window. You show each hand history in terms of the player actions on flop, turn and river. While this is a logical progression, I rarely want to study a hand that closely. I just want to see, in a glance (a)the hole cards and (b)the 5 board cards . The less distance my eyes have to travel between between a and b the better. The way it is now I have to page up and down to compare the hole cards to the 5 board cards of the river. My preferred solution in the current format, in order of preferencewould be (1) Move the five river cards to the top and show the turn and flop actions in reverse order (this way i do not have to page down to get the only information i want most of the time (2) deleted the action for the flop and turn altogether, since i rarely care to study the hand that closely (3) Move the hole cards to the bottom of the window, this means i have to page down but at least i can see both the hole cards and the 5 board cards at once.

2. There is no way to view next or previous hands from the browser window that comes up when go to history from the game window. This means that to view a number of hands history you have to click from the game window for each hand, bringing up a separate browser window for the replay of each hand.

Considering how long you have been working on this problem, if your programmer can't seem to fix this, may be you need a better programmer.

The basic format is not bad, but the most effective one glance last hand graphic in my opinion, was the format used at everleaf. The reason is that the hole cards were displayed relative to the player position at the table. This means i don't have to remember the name of the opponent(s) at showdown, just their position at the table.

Since it appears that the other PPN poker thread is being abandoned, i will repeat my latest post to that thread here.

thank you. i have tried to be honest, and by the way i honestly do like many things about PPN. As to accuracy, i must admit i have made some mistakes by not always researching my responses, e.g. by checking information on the website before questioning information that was already available. I'm trying hard because i want the site to succeed and i want some action for pete's sake.

Glad to see you post here sir. As i understand it, 2+2 rules prevented you from posting at the other thread, i hope you do not have the same restriction here. Gio's post have been welcome and helpful in the other thread, but were far too infrequent. It was usually more than a week between his posts.

Some questions, unanswered in the other thread, were of interest to some other players as well as to me. One particular subject is the leaderboard referred to on the bonus page of the website. Is it running now and if so, where can we find the rankings?

Here is a another flaw i have mentioned before but which remains unfixed. When you sign up for a tourney the game window will not automatically open when the tourney begins unless you have the tournament registration/information window open. It is only slightly annoying to have to leave the window open. However, if some one is new to the site they may miss a significant portion of the freeroll tourney, especially since the tourney tends to run quickly.

This used to be a problem in the sit n go's also, i do not know if that was fixed because i have not played one in a while

How do you register? Every time I click "register" in the top left on the browser it just opens the screen to log in but I can log in if I don't have a username. Also there seems to only be like 4 or 5 people ever playing the cash games

The Leaderboard is being settled this week and will be listed on the main website in the lower right corner.

We will have a Leaderboard for Raked Hands and a Leaderboard for Tournament Finishes. Details of this program will be posted mid-week on the main website. Our current plan is to have monthly prizes for each and a grand yearly prize.

Hi Indy,

There is quite a difference of opinion on how a hand history should work so I have forwarded your suggestion to our room manager to do some research as to other rooms systems.

Anybody else that would like to comment on this it will be welcomed.

http://account.pokerprosnetwork.com/...members/signup is the registration link. It is available on all of our poker room websites.

We are building a player base so our player pool is growing. Please be patient and you will find a game.

welcome aboard. Supposedly when you change the profile data support will review and implement the changes. In any event, if you are concerned about consistency if you try to withdraw, it wasn't a problem when i withdrew. They go by the documents you provide.

Cake Poker has the best hand history format IMO you see it all in 1 screen no scrolling and you can go back/forward like LIGHTNING

Hand histories work pretty consistently across all formats that I am familiar with and I have literally played dozens. Hand histories need to show the hole cards for everyone that goes to showdown and no one else. In addition, when I look at the hand history, I should see my cards whether I went to showdown or not. The purpose of this , as I understand it, is to prevent collusion, and/or detect it when it happens. An added bonus is learnnig more about your opponents.
