Where are hand histories stored in Betssons software? I can't seem to find any settings within the client and no hh folder on my computer.

Please PM me your poker alias (or some other way of locating your account) and the name of the poker room you’re playing on. I will look into this and make sure it’s put right.

Please make sure you contact your poker room’s support team also.

Finally, if you are in Sweden, please check your responsible gaming settings. Sweden has a mandatory session limit which can force you to log out, even during play.

thanks a lot for your answer!
i like the fact that plo is normal only, which i prefer to play. i get really confused by all those "Player #" villains and i find playing anons really creepy and boring. i might give MPN a try as long as there are normal tables.

Has anyone used this? I've seen another for sale but I'm obvious nervous about installing it.

Sometimes when I click sit out on a table I get immediately booted off the table mid hand, it's getting to be an expensive bug. Would be great if you'd just ditch the 'new' software, put it down as a mistake, move on, and get the old one working well again, preferably with HH's so I don't feel the need to go installing a shady HH grabber.

Hi Alex thx for the quick response. Im playing at nordicbet and i have same problem on client, web and phone version. Every 15-20 min or so u i get logged for no reason. The last month or so it happens a lot more.

I no i will not contact support because they dont know anything. All they do is forward the info to another section and i MAYBE will get a response a few days later.

And there is another problem i have specifically with the phone version. Occasionally when you tap a button when you have big hands and long fingers you always accidentally come across another part of the screen wich makes a link pop up wich is very annoying.

Its like whoever did the upgrades and developed the software on the phone, client and web have not tested it themselves or at least not properly.

This is not what i expect out of a netork/pokerroom that has been here for ages and should know what they are doing.

And no i will not pm my alias because i have lost all hope for this unfortunealyy with all the "new" problems.

However the only thing perhaps that keeping me here a while longer is the relatively fast cashouts even though they were waaaay faster a few years ago.

Hi Saburo - in order to figure this out and make sure you get refunded for the issues you experienced, I need to be able to locate your account. I can only do that if you contact NordicBet support and/or give me your alias or some other way to locate your account. I would really like to help.

HAND HISTORY POLICY CHANGE

Hi everyone,

There has been a great deal of debate about hand histories, HUDs and tracking software in recent weeks. It’s something we have discussed extensively at MPN HQ, both among our management team and with our customers.

We will elaborate further on this decision in the coming days, but the short version is that, after reviewing all of the feedback we have received since the launch of our new software, and considering the ongoing debate, we have come to the conclusion that our current policy on hand histories is not right. Therefore, we are going to make some changes.

The general principles behind these changes is that players should be able to track their own game, learn, and improve. We also want to be more transparent, and allow players to verify that we are doing a good job of keeping the games free of cheating. Finally, we want to comply with the law around data portability.

However, we wish to discourage players from using hand history data in a way that gives them an unfair advantage over other players. This includes the use of HUDs, seat or table selection software, and real-time advisory tools.

1. Request Hand Histories

From tomorrow, June 18th, players will be able to request a download of their hand histories. To request this, players should contact their poker room’s support team, specifying the date range for which they would like the hand history file(s). Hand histories from the last 3 years are available.

The hand history will be provided as a .DAT file (which is compatible with HEM v8465 or earlier and PT v4.14.23 or earlier), with complete information about all hands you were dealt into, whether you contributed to the pot or not.

Until we have been able to assess demand, requests are limited to one per week.

2. Hand History Files in Prima

In the future, most likely in Q4 this year, we will add support to our new software to download hand history files to your device. Currently, we plan for the download to be available after a short delay (e.g. 24 hours) to strike a balance between tracking your own results, and enabling HUDs.

Hand History files in the older ‘classic’ software will not be changed.

3. Easier Alias Changes

Currently, players on the MPN can change their poker alias every 30 days, or 1,000 hands (whichever comes soonest). At some point in the future, we will make these changes easier and more prominent.

We are keen to hear feedback on these proposals. Please feel free to leave your comments here, or contact us on Twitter @ThrillOfPoker.

THANK YOU.

The in-built results tracker still appears completely off to me. Either it will display nothing at all or me losing 7k on a day when my balance has only changed by 3k

This sounds amazing. As soon as handhistories are downloadable using a HUD should be pretty easy with PT4 or HM2. You also said that HUDs are an unfair advantage. So do you plan on preventing people from using HUDs and if so how?

We're open to changing our minds, but the way I'm thinking is that HUDs are a lot less of an advantage if the data is not real time. And with alias changes available, the value of a HUD decreases further still. We want to see how this works out before making a decision on whether to get involved in an anti-HUD arms race.

I agree. I think that the solution you propose is the best of any site I know right now.

Good news, will they be made compatible with later versions of HM/PT or is it the tracking software that needs to reallow the importing of the files?

It is up to HM / PT to reinstate support, if they wish to do so.

@Alex,

I welcome this change and think this good news for MPN players.

A couple of questions/comments:

I assume that we will still not receive HH for anon tables, is this correct?

Will the HH we will get contain exposed hole cards for all players?

If combating HUDs is a priority for you, then one of the most crucial changes you can make is to make it so notes do not carry over after an alias change.
As it is right now, at least in the old client (haven't tried the new one yet), a player can just take notes on all the regs at the games he plays, then always be able to tell who they are, even after they change their alias. PT4/HEM allow their users to group different player names under one 'alias'. This makes it possible to create huge samples on player's play, regardless of how often they change their alias and allows those stats to be displayed on HUDs. So as long as notes carry over, the player protection afforded by allowing alias changes is severely diminished.

Again, I don't know if this is still the case in the new client, or if you're even able to have it patched out from the old one, but please take note of this issue.

Yeah good decision for sure. Still "protects" the recs from huds but you can analyze your own game and improve. Winwin.

You will get HH, but if the hand in question took place at an anonymous table the player aliases will be anonymous also.

Only if revealed by the player (i.e. they chose to show, or reached the showdown).

I can confirm that this is fixed in the new client.
