Only 20 days eariler -> Microgaming expands its poker network in Bulgaria

Now Microgaming don't offer their services in Bulgaria. Also Bulgaria is available on the microgaming's site -> Regulated Markets



Why people from Bulgaria can't login? Is this is how you value the players, by making huge changes without prior notice?

Has anyone here been winning longterm at Microgaming? I've been playing there for about 3 months, fields are definitely fishy but I'm only losing. I know variance can cause that and tbh the sample is probably only about 50k hands but I havent heard from anyone winning in that network... hows your experiecen guys? Nl25+ please

Players from Bulgaria must play with a Bulgarian licensed operator. We have only one on the MPN currently, which is 7777.bg - the Bulgarian National Lottery.

The message says that MicroGaming has stopped offering their service in Bulgaria.

This wasn't the case for years and it is not in the T&C neither on MPN site, or any other poker room from the network.

7777 had only the new software you said that Microgaming will not push players into the new software until it is good enough (now it is far from good enough), but now you push all players from a specific country to the new software.

Is the old client still available to some nationalities? I'm now forced to play on the new software and this means 100% that I'm done with the site,

May be microgaming software developers (if more than one) work only part time on the new software, because for a year microgaming failed to provide new adequate software, that usually take 1 month for a single skilled developer to write.

Can you give us a rough timeline for updates to the new software? Compared to the competition it is nearly unplayable in it's current state.

can it really be true that on the new software there is no way to click one button and see the lobby/prizes? I want to support the site but as it is now there is no reasonable way to check how many are left or what the prizes are it seems. It's a real shame because that's enough to make me skip until it's fixed.

In the classic software, it is possible to choose how much you sit down with, by switching to the list view lobby.

The only two regions where the Classic software is not available are Sweden and Bulgaria. In Sweden, the country's regulator introduced major new requirements and we have implemented these in the new client only. In Bulgaria, we have only one licensed poker room and they are new. By default, new poker rooms receive only the new client unless they specifically request the classic client also. 7777.bg has now done so, and we are working on providing it to them.

There will be at least four 'large' updates each year, around 12-16 'medium' updates, and probably at least 50 'small' updates. We released the first version of the new download client (v37) in July, when we started this thread. Since then there have been two 'large' releases - v38 focused on addressing the most high-priority feedback from players, and included Stealth Mode and lots of improvements to the table and lobby (full release notes).

v39 focused mainly on Sweden compliance, but we did manage to squeeze in a frequently-requested feature (colour coding) and some other fixes. (Full release notes)

v40 is predominantly feedback-focused again and most of the key features are among the top player requests. We'll announce details of these closer to release.

It is still early days - the new client is barely 6 months old and still considered 'beta' for most users, and we are working hard to improve it. I want it to be clearly superior to the old client for the majority of users. I don't think we will get to the point where we will please everyone, but that's not the goal.

That's true right now, but this is among the things on our list to address.

Thanks for the quick reply Alex.

I understand that everyone would like their requests to be fulfilled first but I really hope you make this a priority as tournaments without payouts is pretty unplayable for most of us. Also seems like a pretty easy fix. Looking forward to playing there again in the future, please do keep us updated here in the thread when the software has been fixed.
