So if you earn live points by booking a win at a table, what happens if you reload at that table. Do you have to make up the reloaded chips before you can book a win?

If that is the case wouldn't it make sense to move to a new table rather reload at the same table?

Yes.

was thinking about depositing...but when I can look back at the first few posts here (in august) and see that it was documented that players can raise illegal amounts..then I look back 2 MONTHS LATER and its still happening...one of the most basic rules of poker and nothing has been done about it in 2 months...why would I deposit?

it took them awhile but they fixed this

Thats the main deciding factor between you depositing or not? lol

Do you realize that you can play without depositing?

new idea/suggestion to keep inflation down. about half the people that play on Liveace bid the chips they win that day with no intention of keeping a bankroll. they bid the chips to below 200 and just top up with 200 extra chips the next day. now you should allow people to do this still but if they win any money in the auction that night they should not be allowed to top up for an extended period of time. i was thinking like 3-5 days. this would add new strategy on maintaining live chips. and we would get more traffic on higher limit tables. if you still lose all of your chips by not bidding you should still be allowed to top up.....Wondering if people think this is a good idea

I wanted to point out an exploit, although not super significant, but an issue nonetheless.
A player could potentially only post the big blind every orbit and "skip" the small blind. If a player sits out prior to the blinds reaching them and then sits back in after they pass (on the button), they would only have to post the BB and they have position when they post. Software should recognize they recently sat out and force them to posit BB/SB when returning (within a few orbits)?

Again, it isn't a huge issue, but maybe something to look into for a future update.

yes, not taking time in 2 months to fix a basic rule of poker THAT ENSURES THE GAME IS PLAYED CORRECTLY is important to me...why that is funny, or gets swept under the rug is beyond me

and if it has been fixed, then my bad, but just saw a post on here this week with someone saying it still happens

I think people are "giving them slack" because its a free site and people are making money without any initial investment. For those who do buy memberships, i'd be more concerned with their response time. If they continue to take forever, people won't buy memberships, and the site dies.

LOL @ "continue to take forever"! Don't you suppose that some of the "slack" is also because they are a brand new site with a brand new concept?

Consider that they've been around for barely over two months and then go count the number of things reported in this forum that they've fixed or improved in that amount of time. Perspective, people!

Have you played on the site yet? "Depositing" doesn't give you a greater chance of winning. You can play higher and have more chances to win but thats about it. Everyone wants the game to be played correctly but there are bigger issues than a simple raising limit bug. If this raising issue is the main reason you decided not to play here, then I just think thats a little funny because if you're a decent player, you basically lost at least 10 "deposits" worth.

the raising bug is a huge part of the game...plus how serious are they really if they cant find the time to fix one of the most basic rules of poker in 2 months?

you are complaining about something that gives you a legit chance at winning money for free. and they did fix it . they are a start up of course they do not have the resources to solve all problems immediately. stop whining

It actually does make them post SB too, but it goes into never never land. Instead of being added to the pot like we are use to seeing on other sites.

it looks like liveace is trying to sponsor someone in the november 9. it would be cool to see someone wearing patch at the final table on espn. gl live ace. liveace might the poker equivalent as twitter is to social media. ... Hey Twitter was not a profitable business in their start up years

Anyone checked their software version under options? Mine still says 0929. First Andy left and then the software hasn't been updated for three weeks. It used to be updated every two or three days. Not good signs to me since I am pessimistic (nitty).

they updated the software like 4 days ago to fix the raise issue. Andy leaving does not bother me that much. and i do not think they would give up on liveace after just 2 months

Hey

I signed up for the trial membership with my facebook info...donked around and won some live chips....but I notice when I go to the auction page the dollar bid and live chip bid fields aren't available to fill in

Do you need to be a paid member to bid?

Is there a minimum amount of live chips you must have to bid?

Didn't see this info listed in the FAQs...if anyone knows whats up....I'd appreciate it.
