it is really not the sites fault. Its the players that determine the market and with only 83 bidders last night. the same amount of bidders 3 weeks ago, players are bidding 20 more chips per dollar with the same amount of bidders.

Funny. Some people want inflation and some people don't. Inflation is good for the site because these chips come from people paying for them or from the offers. If you don't want to pay any money, there's nothing the site can do or should do to help you out even more. If you want to win bigger money, pay the subscription or for chips and start with a bigger regular chip balance and just bid your winnings about 2k.

they can make it so we can buy in for 100bb at 1/2 or lose the bankroll req. at 2/4 so we can actually play poker instead of flipping every other hand. Like what is the point of building a roll in the game to play higher stakes game when your chips lose value every day? I understand there will be inflation but that is no reason to have a badly structured game.

I like the 20 bb idea.. Might stop some of the flipping but of course there are those that still will flip but I think slot will stop

I agree about having 100bb at 1/2 and that there shouldn't be a bankroll requirement on playing higher but what are the chances that flipping won't happen at the bigger games? Its just another incentive for the site to make you pay and play higher and I don't think there's anything wrong with that.

Everyone buys in for 60bbs, there's no super short stacks buying in. Even if you could buyin for 100bbs, will flipping go away? I dont think, and I believe it'll just increase the bid rate at a even higher pace - when someone reloads and loses 120, their 80 just gets left over because I don't think many people decide to grind 4/8 lhe with their 80 left over, but I could be wrong.

And whats the point of building a roll? Its like getting a degree or start working after high school. Working right away makes more money in the short run but getting a degree will benefit in the long run. You sacrifice value now but will eventually end up making more - that is if you're good enough.

bid rate 79 but only 63 bidders tonight. IMO this is setting up for a crash soon on the weekend if the number of bidders do not increase. Also i actually think the site should restrict higher limit table to paying members only so the site can actually make money

interesting idea

How about one can only win one auction per week or something similar? (5/month maybe?)

Couldn't this reduce the value of a membership? I wouldn't be able to win an auction every night and just reload 400 chips. My Live Chips would be in play more often. It doesn't bother me, but It may not be worth paying for a membership in this scenario.

Basic members can only win 1 auction per week and no restrictions on members?

I don't think so. I auctioned every day when I was a basic member.

Lol, what side are you on? The sites and them getting memberships or basic members that don't put a dime on the site but win 100's?

Infinite, it seems like he thought you were asking a question about the current system, not making a suggestion.
10-09-2013 , 05:19 PM
Oh I see, thanks for clarifying... lol
10-09-2013 , 09:38 PM
my prediction of the bid rate crashing will be correct one of these days 73 bidders at 81 bid rate

I honestly dont know why liveace is not doing better than some other free sites. might be marketing. on Facebook i got an ad for Quarterpoker a site that just launched 1 week ago and they already have 300 likes compared to Live Ace 400 likes. Liveace launched mid August. This new site quarter poker sucks compared to live ace. all you can do is play SNGs and its like a step system and if you are good enough you can only cash out once you turn your quarter into 50$ that they pay you through paypal.

On another note SNGs might be a good idea for live ace if you can register for them only with live chips

Liveace definitely needs to consider running sngs and tournaments. It would attract a lot more players. And I like the idea of entering in with live chips. Entering in with regular chips would hurt the cash games a lot more than entering with live chips. Maybe they'll do something in the near future...

.25c poker? so dumb lol. pretty weird how they'd do better than liveace. liveace has gotten a good deal of exposure through this site, and prob pocket 5s. i just saw something on the front page that is strangely not there anymore, showing where live ace has advertised. didn't pay much attention to it but it was like 10 different sites.
10-10-2013 , 09:11 PM
