No problem - our response times are quickest during business hours EST

There may occasionally be issues when some players have old version of the software. Most browsers will download the latest version however.
I definitely noticed it not fixed on the first two omaha all ins i saw last night. But then after that I didn't notice it. I'll report back next time I play to see if it's fixed. thanks

For anyone having latency issues on liveace, this may help. If you are using chrome, type chrome://flags and toggle "GPU compositing on all pages" to on and restart the browser. This should let your CPU dedicate more power to displaying the graphics and smooth things out.

Lori,

Only LiveAce knows the stats. But, in my observations, 7 out of 8 players sitting at a table have blank avatars. I think this means most people aren't full members. Remember the saying "the customer is always right". If most people think there is not enough value in paying for a membership, then it's true and LiveAce needs to change it. I don't care how many times you post that we get hand History and an avatar, if the customer doesn't see the value, then there isn't any. The market is truth.

Also, I think LiveAce needs to rethink their marketing strategy. Traffic hasn't really increased since the first day. 2+2 is good way to get some initial traffic, but now it's time target people outside the poker universe. IMO, LiveAce should be targeting the people playing free poker on Zynga. There are millions of people playing free poker for no money. LiveAce would be very appealing to this audience.

Just my 2 big blinds.

Not all who subscribe have avatars. If I had any sense (which I obviously don't, because I use the same name for 2+2 as I do for liveace, and there is a reason I chose the donkey avatar), I'd get a subscription and still use the generic avatar to mask that fact.

So you do have a subscription and you use an avatar?

I'm assuming there aren't a lot of subscribers. LC/$ is stable, auction amounts are still the same, and traffic hasn't increased that much if at all.

There's a lot more bids being placed so I dont know how you see it hasn't increased at all. Its definitely increased from day 1. Not a huge increase but still. I do think they need to change something with subscription to make it worth buying. If you're a winning player, you can just build from the 200 chip reload. If you're a losing playing, then whats the point in having some extra buyins lol. I dont know what exactly can be done, but as long as Im getting the checks and the auctions continue to run, Im fine with how it is right now.

Where do you get a lot more bids from? The number of total bids has been between 90-100 since the first week. Being fine with how it is right now because you are getting your $50 checks is very short sighted.

Dont remember it being 90-100 the first week but maybe you're right. I don't see this site being a place to make a living off of poker. This isnt a real money site so I dont see how high the prizes will kick up. Even if they kick up, how much more $ do you think most players can win?

I get targeting more people, especially ones that play with play money. But the fact that you have to provide your social security # to cash out is going to turn people away. And as for changes, what do you expect them to do? Decreasing the basic membership chips will hurt their traffic and increasing the live membership chips will not help it.

Charts for this past weekend's $1,000 auctions (9/21 and 9/22)

Saturday 9/21:

The large tan box is a bid for $125 at just under 60 LC per dollar. This bid was a winner Saturday night.

Sunday 9/22:

The large green box is a bid for $280 at just under 50 LC per dollar. Because its to the right of the vertical black line with 1,000 above it you can see that this bid was not a winner that night.

2/4 starting to fill up quickly, would you recommend 3/6?

Can we get a straight answer on 6 max?

The thing is I really like LiveAce and would love to see it explode like Zynga. Don't underestimate the potential of this site in a legal environment that has limited online poker alternatives. I think it's possible to eventually have decent stakes games.

Checking the fold to any box automatically calls the big blind's "bet" instead of folding. Apologies if this bug has already been posted.

Two giant failed bids on Sunday night. Do you think that they'll wait till next week's $1k, or will they try to spread it throughout this week? (should people with less chips wait for the weekend to bid?)

Yes although it functions correctly postflop we're working on it - in the meantime you can use Check/Fold preflop and Fold to Any postflop.

This is correct - it's not uncommon for a Club Live member to keep the generic male/female avatar.

anyone not seeing results from tonight's auction?
09-24-2013 , 09:24 PM
Is there a delay in the resolution of today's auction? The chips that I bid seem to be in limbo somewhere.
09-25-2013 , 12:50 AM
The auction tonight ran correctly, however we did experience a delay in the auction post time. Normally it posts within 5 minutes after auction close but we experienced an unexpected delay of over an hour which we don't expect to occur in the future.

As you know when you bid in an auction the Live Chips are removed from your balance and unavailable until auction post time. Historically you've either had cash or chips back in your account within 5-10 minutes after auction close. We apologize for those of you who were inconvenienced for longer than it should have taken for results to post.

We realize many of you either wanted to play with Live Chips that weren't used or use your Cash Account to purchase more chips shortly after 9pm. We regret this delay and are taking steps to keep auction post times as low as possible - as they have been historically.

So, I finally caved and tried a monthly membership. So far so good. I luckboxed the 1600 free sign up chips into 2400 live chips. So the membership paid for itself in 1 day. Not bad. Believe it or not, my winnings on LiveAce are equivalent to winning at 8BB/100 at 100NL. Yes, it's micro stakes, but if you aren't a complete fish then your winrate should be super high relative to other poker sites. Actually, even a mouth breather should be able to win money on LiveAce.

Lori, is the membership 24.99 or 19.99? Parts of the website say 19.99 and I paid 24.99. What's the deal?
