i think you should have to add 10-90% pot size insurance function.

found max premium per hand
Quote:
here is how this one works: if you turn this settings on and set it to $50. We will deduct maximum $50 insurance premium per hand. In this case, if you play a hand that requires $100 insurance premium, only half pot will be insured.
for example
A7 vs T9
equity 58.485 vs 41.515
pot size $400

if I set max premium per hand to $100 and lose, I got ~140 for A7 but if I lose with T9 than I got only ~70.
I wanna get $100 if I lose, but I wanna pay less than $100 if I won.

Hi,

Unfortunately we're not planning to add this option.

Hi,

We were working on ICM based all-in equity insurance but we paused it for now. There doesn't seem to be enough interest among the regulars and the concept is too difficult to explain to casual players.

1st of all id like to say that the concept is genius and congratulate the initiative to Insuredplay team ... and i expect competition soon for this great service...

couple questions/issues for IP rep..

Who are you guys? like who are the investors, what group? where is your physical adress? who oversees the integrity of the player funds? .. your website is really secretive with info about the company.

I did notice that you replied once saying something like: '' why would we do this'' , '' we are here for the long haul'' etc... but thats not enough.. saying those things isnt professional nor provides credibility to your service or company. Asking customers why IP '' would do'' any wrongdoing i think is a bad approach to serius concerns and money matters.
People that put money onto your site deserve to know this info fully.

I understand is a growing company but still these things should be fully disclosed.

regarding fees.. can you explain with different wording why or when the certain hands get charged the fee more than once?

itd be cool if we could transfer funds from poker site directly to you also..

well... hope you guys grow and have success

It's not secretive at all. The name of the company, the jurisdiction we are incorporated in and the regulatory body we're subject to are both of in the terms and conditions. The owners are me and my partner Kerem.

The fees are never charged more than once. Can you please tell me what you are referring to?

umm im gonna read the terms more in detail then...

i just wanna make sure my money is safe. I wonder how you guys are doing financially... are u profiting already? is the player pool good enough already for this to really work out? do you see this really taking off.. etc

those ewallets i dont really like.. other options would be good..

now regarding these ppl that keep nagging you guys... is so pathetic.
The service is for ppl like me that got plenty of poker knowledge but have tilt issues. I may catch a bad beat that will destroy 4 or 5 more buy ins in very short timeframe after it happend, directly link to that suckout... add a cooler and its a wrap for me. I do not mind paying the freaking fee... is awsome it exists. what the heck do you expect these ppl to invest and put in all this work for fun? for the love of poker? is a business.

you guys keep up the good work and let ppl know if the ship is sinking and youll allright...

I understand your concern. Our operating accounts are separate from the accounts that hold player funds. We frequently make adjustments to make sure the player funds accounts have more funds than the total amount of funds the players have on the site.

We would love to be able to tell you that we're licensed in 10 jurisdictions and we keep players funds in a separate mutual fund etc. But these are difficult to achieve for a start up like us.

I'd rather not discuss these publicly. I hope you understand.

Moneybookers and Neteller are the two most popular e-wallets and most poker players have an account with them. Clickandbuy will also be available for everyone soon. We are working on adding new payment methods.

As for transfers from poker sites, we are trying to establish partnerships with poker sites but It's pretty difficult to reach people who are in charge and convince them. We don't want to do this through player to player transfers.

I also believe our product is providing value to the poker community. Thank you for your support.

Playing with InsuredPlay is not unpopular right now. We have many players from all skill levels playing on micro stakes to high stakes.

But if PokerStars or another big poker site were to offer insurance as an embedded service then it would instantly become very very popular. However, players are not wagering against the house on PokerStars right now. If they start offering insurance, then the players will be effectively wagering against the house. That is something PokerStars has avoided so far.

exact same thing happend to me..it had me stuck hours.. even as i reinstalled the software..

i had to shred the files belonging to IP and destry every file from it..

then support sent me some file to clear something. but i didnt like downloading the file or open it.. didnt seem natural process and my pc kept wanrning me about it. the reinstall again... ( i had done this about 5 or 6 times) then most my settings were lost etc

it was a nightmare really.. more than anythning becasue it coaught me on the middle of a session.. in stopped my momentum and i actually lost about 35percent my bankroll during this period.. due to luck and just frustration the software wasnt working and i had to do all these manuevers at the same time while playing.. just sucked nasty.

i dont know but whatever it is they should fix it.

they also should have chat support or option for a call somehow.

i hope things work out for everyone

i dont know if it had something to do with the abruptly shutoff of my pc at some point or maybe an overload of ppl using it.. etc.
but it doesnt happen with other apps... so there gotta be a way to fix this terrible bug.

(i got that same msg as shown above)

i guess you gotta be extra careful how you log out or close your pc. im loging out IP 1st and then the rest..

Hi,

I'm glad the problem was fixed for you.

The file you were sent is not related to any setting of any program in your computer. It fixes the installation of InsuredPlay on your computer. You can delete the file after the problem is fixed.

The problem you were having rarely happens and we haven't been able to find the exact cause. We're working on it.

what about me? first time i tried your software last night and got this error.
its not resolved
Official InsuredPlay Thread Quote

resolved after running gac_cleaner.exe

Please shut down all poker applications, uninstall InsuredPlay and delete the program files folder.

you should rephrase this to del the IP folder inside program files. it is possible someone inexperienced will del the entire program folder or all the files inside.

yes it did. its tracking hands now. the only bottleneck would be the time it take me cashout and put the money back on my poker acc.

other than that and the high fees this is a sound idea. i wish i had this when playing cap.

I think it mayhave something to do with how you shut down your pc (like shuting it while everything runnin) or how you quit the app.

and yes i agree the withdraw timeframe can be quicker... like no more than an hour.. should be automated.. (like withdrawing from stars to neteler takes only about 15 mins max)

HUSNG! Insurance concept has even more potential here compared to cash games. Just because people dont ask often enough for it doesnt mean it wouldnt be popular. Just ask regs how much they`d pay to be sure they run at EV
