Epassporte are the most unprofessional a-holes.. I just called up cause i wanted to hear them lie to me.. Whether the opinion of some people that the CR Reps just " dont know " anything or not- I am now sure that is not true.. So i called up- waited forever and talked to some idiot that started in about blah blah technical issue... and I talked about how epassporte has issued a statement saying they don't want to be involved with anything seen as illegal by the united states even though they don't feel they've done anything illegal. He instantly changed his tune to talking over me, and telling me he wasn't going to argue with me. Then said "this has happened before" ... .and I said " no, it hasnt happened before- Poker sites have not issued to all their members personal emails saying Epass was no longer available. And he just kept saying " technical issue, wait for a statement from epass, -- we don't have any time frame for when its going to be fixed... " .... .So i decided to go with that and said " ok, if we're going with technical issue... " ( and heres where i was going to ask more specifics about what the technical issue involved... to which im sure i would get the run arounda nd more " we don't know".. since there IS no technical issue... but he just kept talking over me and said ' HELLO SIR.. SIR SIR SIR SIR.... I am not going to argue with you about this,..." To which i said... "argue? im a customer and have paid your site money- now you're not even going to answer my questions??" ............

" thank you for calling epassporte and have a nice day" ... And hung up on me... this is how professional this F-ing site is... Regardless if it matters or not if a CR rep is aware that they are lying to us all or not about the actual problem---- I could tell this guy knew.. and for epassporte to treat paying customers like this-- its a goddamn crime.

Right, I'm now blocked from both FT and Stars by epassport. Fulltilt says use Ultra prepay phone card, but that's not even listed as an option on FT's cashier.

Probably not, and its probably worth answering for anyone with Epass Money whos wondering.

Epassporte's virtual visa does not support address verification. When you place an order with most online stores, you are asked for your billing address. The store submits your billing address to the credit card company along with your credit card number, and it responds by indicating wether the street address, zip code and phone number match. Epassporte always answers "no data" to street address, zip code, and phone number queries.

almost all online stores require at least a zip code match to proccess an order. Most require a zip code and street address match. Its not always worth it to just give it a shot with your epassporte card, because very frequently the address match will be checked _after_ the card is authorized, so you could lose access to however much the charge was going to be for a month until the authorization drops off, even after they decline your order.

It normally takes 48 hours for a pending auth to retract.

Hi there,

I have a couple of questions:

1) Is there any alternative to ePassporte for US residents ?

I'd like to cash out funds from on-line poker rooms directly into a VISA\ATM card. In the past I used to do that with ePassporte and Neteller, but since now they are no longer available I wonder if there is any alternative solution ?

2) If anyone here has funds in their ePassporte account and want to exchange it for funds in one of the major on-line poker rooms please PM me.

Thanks in advance.

Legend,
Go to fulltiltpoker.com then under news and promos go to online forum. Once at online forum go to player transactions. On the player transaction message board there are dozens of people that trade Epassporte for Fulltilt and Pokerstars daily. Hope that helps you and beware of being scammed. Make sure the person you're trading with has a good history and so forth.

Ok I'm going to bump this in hopes of some answers. According to Doyles Room, I can deposit with epassporte and also cash out as well. After reading this thread I am under the impression this is not that case. I made it very clear I was a U.S. citizen.

ugh, I guess I'll email the cashier. I don't know, cause I still have my epass account and can log in and have no messages about a change in terms or what not. Anyone with definite info please let me know.

Damn you Frist......damn you to hell

thebeasters: epassporte didn't change our terms, they changed the terms that merchants have.

If Doyle's were to work, though, my roll is getting moved.

Over a month ago, I requested an increase to my withdrawal limts.

(As has been mentioned immediately above, it is not currently a $300 ATM withdrawal limit per day, but rather per 24 HOURS. E.g. If you withdraw $300 at 7pm on a Monday, you won't be able to withdarw another $300 until 7pm on the Tuesday.)

Eventually, after I had followed up on my initial request which went unanswered, I was asked to send in docments to verify my account. This was despite the fact that I had already done this. (You have to do so once your balance reaching $5,000.)

I was asked why I wanted the increase(!) and was eventually sent several documents to fill in, sign, scan and e-mail back. After doing so, I again heard nothing. I followed up and then received an e-mail saying that they had not received my documents. After I detailed the documents, date/time/contents of e-mail, they sent another e-mail saying they had now located them.

I am STILL waiting to hear back. (I was informed it would take a further 7-10 business days.)

So, despite chasing them up and replying to their e-mails and requests immediately, if successful the whole process will have taken around 6 weeks!!

I intend to make the majority of future withdrawals from Full Tilt via a check.

I almost always deal with a supervisor and they are MUCH better then the "regular" customer service people.

I requested a $5000 daily limit for both ATM and electron visa purchases. I sent them documentation, they gave me the higher limits in 48 hours.

I now have 3 epasporte electron visas linked to 3 different accounts and can withdraw up to $15,000 a day. Only tried $11,000 once, and it took time at the ATM but it worked.

If you do this I suggest you file your taxes, post 9/11 credit card information can and often is tracked.

In case others are searching for best deposit option...

Western Union was good for an initial deposit on Pokerstars. Go to the WU Web site, find a location where you can do money transfers (usually a grocery store or gas station) and follow the instructions from Pokerstars. They will give you a name to send to with first / middle / last. On the WU form I used, middle was listed as "maternal surname" or somesuch.

When you go home, type in the string of numbers you get from the transfer receipt into Pokerstars.

I transferred $105, got bent over for a $15 processing fee, money was in the account. Now I can go crush .01/.02 with my huge roll.

If anyone cares, I just dropped an inquiry to EPP about if they were re-evaluating offering services to poker sites (not poker STARS specifically, like the response looks like, but w/e...) here's what I got back:

Thank you for your email.

In regards to your concern, we are sorry to inform you that we have
disabled ePPurchase capabilities for poker stars that use ePassporte as a
payment option and as of now we are not doing business with any pokers.
This may affect the transactions you normally make with ePassporte
Account.

Please be advised that we will send an email confirmation, if there are
any possibilities to do the business with poker stars in future and we
appreciate your business with ePassporte.

We apologize for the inconvenience being caused.

I hope this information is helpful to you. If you have any further
concerns, please do not hesitate to contact Customer Service.
