All these crashes are bs lmao. Glad I didnt play today. Played GTA 5 instead.

As I understand it from reading the other threads, this all happened because someone tried to hack into the sports betting servers. Not only do they have to fix the problem but they need to make the servers bullet proof which takes some work. All of this isn't something that BCP had any control over.

santa, where has wpn done a pretty good job of letting players know what is going on? i checked the wpn forum, and the only reasons (excuses, probably) i've seen are that someone tried to hack the sb on sunday night, and that their internet provider hasn't been working properly. im genuinely asking fwiw.

i mean, they've sent winning_td in there to show ppl a new mtt schedule for tonight, when they probably should've shut the poker rooms down until this issue was solved in it's entirety imo. for 4 straight nights mtt players have been chasing a carrot on a stick that they will not catch.

idk maybe im being unrealistic.

Winning_TD has made a large number of posts. He started a thread (WPN Down!, as you know) immediately after the outage explaining the cause of the outage and stating that the players would be refunded according to the T and C. He stated that the subsequent outage happened because of an attempt to assure what had happened wouldn't happen again. He later posted that he was personally going to assure that the players get payed. Saying that they sent in Winning_TD is a little bit of an understatemnet. Winning_TD is WPN's Tournament Director. He has clout. He has also kept players abreast about what it going on as far as the near future tournament schedule. I think that Winning_TD has done an excellent job.

This whole thing was caused by bad guys on the outside. Even Microsoft has fallen victim to this type of thing. Using 20/20 hindsight maybe they should have closed down the entire site until the matter was completely resolved but there is certainly an element of unpredictability in all of this. And can you imagine the uproar if they had in fact closed down the entire site for a couple of days? There would have been a panic that the DOJ was closing the site. Closing down the site might have meant the end of WPN.

You've said your piece - making it perfectly clear you have no intention of ever playing at BCP again. You've stated you will be moving on, so please, kindly do so.

sorry about your site crashing for the last 12+ hours and multiple people complaining about how you people dropped the ball on multiple fronts
I'm not upset at all, and you have every reason to be upset and disgruntled. I just cannot see the need for the continued posts after you've already made your point.

yea hey sorry about that

I am never going to make another deposit on your joke site

read the last 5 pages from loyal BC players who are blown away with your lack of attention to your recent shutdown

thanks for popping in 3 days later and saying 'oops'

your tourney menu is pathetic and your justification for a multi-day crash with unaccounted-for payouts is a total embrassment

I will never play on BC poker ever again
Dude,

you need to relax and understand that these things run on technology and their server crashed. you act like you are so **** PERFECT GET A life and move on if you dont want to play the WPN is really good.

Dear BCP Rep,

here in America you have to let people vent their frustrations. If someone says they are never playing on your site again they are probably just frustrated. I don't recall how many times I said I was never depositing to LOCK before I actually quit playing. You should not be encouraging people to leave your site, seeing as your traffic is poor to begin with. All this server nonsense will be forgotten a month from now. Try to keep what few customers you actually have.

Just a friendly little piece of advice

I still to this point cannot keep my sports book open and operating long enough to even make a simple bet.

HM1 doesn't officially support Winning Poker but because HM1 and HM2 share a lot of the same parsing code it will import the hands. Find the hands in the Reports > Right Click > Copy hand to clipboard > paste in to the 2+2 hand history converter

Does anyone else's sportsbook just open up to the normal sportsbook window but with a blank page? Absolutely nothing on it. The casino works fine though... obviously.

Some of these tournies you play in have such a long late registration that the prize pool is literally about to hit before they go off late registration. I think something needs to be done about this. I am in a tourney right now and it has been on late registration for about 3 hours.

It is about to go off right now and the prize pool pays 36 and there are 49 left. Late registration will be open for 6 more minutes from now.

edit - 197 people entered the tourney - 49 left and you can still join the tourney from late registration.

It upsets you to see people buying in late for 5bbs trying to min-cash? I'm thrilled to see the prize pools swell with such thinking

Really? What's the problem....added prize pools and tiny easy to eliminate stacks? Sounds promising.
