Thank you for bringing that up. msvcp80.dll is a dll file that is used when a program is compiled with Microsoft Visual Studio 2005. So they are using an old compiler, Visual Studio 2005, same as before and the same language as before.

It is the Microsoft C++ Runtime Library and is used by programs written with Microsoft Visual Studio 2005."
Why did they not used the newer version of the library which is msvcp90.dll? Hmmm?
Bovada folder shows msvcp90.dll, BCP shows msvcp80.dll
Bottom line, this was no upgrade.

Yeah, but the question here is whether they upgraded anything and they did not. msvcp80.dll is used by old compiler Visual Studio 2005.
msvcp90.dll is the equivalent used by newer compiler.

Bovada has only worked a lot of the bugs out of its crappy software, it hasn't impoved it. If Ford had wanted to stick with the Edsel, the Edsel would probably be running like a top by now; but it would still be an Edsel.
Not really, I am placing importance on the software temporarily freezing and when it comes back I am timed out. It happens about every 100 hands at BCP, before the "upgrade?" and after, and never once has it happened at Bovada. I am talking from my experience. I will not play BCP until they resolve the issues that they have as it pertains to me as the "upgraded" software remains unplayable. They can't even work the bugs out, much less improve it.
Booting people out.

Crashing.

Perhaps if they would program for Win 7 or later, with backwards compatibility, instead of programming for 13 year old XP, some of the issues would not be occurring. They are stuck in the year 2000, and Windows Blue will be out soon. Ouch!
So long.
